Although Beta testers will be given access to the documents and forums at this time, if you plan on playtesting immediately you're going to have to make your own proxies.  Going to Beta a week or two earlier than expected means that we don't have the formal PDF proxies ready, so you'll have to be creative.

You can chalk up the speed of the Alpha testing to how thorough and skillful the Alpha testers are.  "Theory" is very different from "Practice", and there's only so many weeks you can spend discussing the former before you get a product you want to see tested.

You Beta chaps will have much, much, much more time to test the actual product than the Alpha chaps had to discuss the theory and balance behind it.  Around 2-3 months I'd wager, assuming people can actually stand to play and report 100s of games of Raw Deal.

Will cards like Manager Interferes or Revolution of the Mind be reprinted... Most ppl would want the cards and it would be nice if everyone could have it printed anytime..

Some cards will be reprinted as they are, some will be reprinted with modification, and some probably won't be reprinted, at least not for now.

To run with your example, 'Manager Interferes' will be reprinted with a slight change for balance purposes, but Revolution of the Mind won't be reprinted, at least not for now.

The guiding idea is to make the set internally consistent; To reprint cards willy-nilly just because people want them for RDC wouldn't be doing justice to those people who want to play NRD as a serious format.

If y'all are lucky, when CREED next gets online he'll add those of you on the Beta list to the forum access lists, or work whatever magic is appropriate to make sure the NRD forums appear somewhere at the bottom of your forum list.

If for whatever reason a day or two goes by and you still find yourself without access, please send me a PM and I'll try to sort it out.
