Backlash Podcast Presents King of TCO Tournament

Hello all!

The online scene has been hopping recently, while most of us face stay at home orders over the last two months. Having just completed an online event, the community is clamoring for more!

So, without further ado, I'm announcing The King of TCO Tournament presented by the Backlash Podcast!

Here are the details:
1. Format: Virtual Classic
2. Games are to take place on OCTGN, the only online system that supports the entire VC library.
3. Single elminination, either 16 or 32 player. If we get close to 32, we may hand out a few "bye"s for the first round. Pairings will be created randomly.
4. Pairings will be posted Monday and you have one week to complete your match-up. Failure to do so will result in double elimination. Please be aware of this before committing to the event. If you are the player unable to make times work, you may also forfeit.
5. Official results will be posted here, but feel free to use Discord too.
6. To register for TCO, please first join the Discord Channel: https://discord.gg/AGF4wG8 and then message Eric RD and he'll set you up.

Please sign up with your superstar below, first come, first served in the superstar picking. Alternatively, you can PM me your superstar and I will just post your name below and can keep track to ensure there are no duplicate superstars as there will be no duplicates allowed. Sign up cutoff will be Monday when I post the first round pairings.

I almost forgot the most important part! The prizes! Who doesn't love prizes? There are two of them. Winner chooses 1, 2nd place gets the other.

1) A Foil Alternate Art Shield Face Card that was exclusively given out at the 2019 North American Championship.
2) The card "Backlash" with Eric's and I's mug on it.

After about 2 weeks since its launch, the community feedback has generated the lowest ranking superstar at 1.17 average rating, even lower than Vickie Guerrero!

Therefore, I am going with none other than The Revival for this tournament.

Can I make a change at superstar? The Texas Rattlesnake...sorry, didnt get a chance to really sit down and build my first superstar so going with something I have ready in OTCGN.

Round 1 Bracket has been posted at the bottom of the main page. Everyone was assigned a random number in Excel, then imported to the seeding bracket.

Due to numbers, 10 people get a first round bye. It was either that or have 12 people have a "qualifying match", both had the same result, so i just threw the byes in.

Contact your opponent and let's have fun crowning the first King of TCO!

Query - If I have a bye and my second round opponent has a bye, and we wish to schedule our second round match for this week, can we do so or do you want us to wait until the next round opens?

Go for it, I've advanced the byes, so only two people have to await an outcome.
