I hope that this upcoming year, the field for the tournament is a bit larger than expected. There has been a bit of a resurgence in the game it seems. Cards are being sold at good numbers and posts on social media have increased as well.

Time will tell.

Hey all. We're one week away and I'm going to clarify the tournament structure.

We'll be using the Tournament Floor Rules found here: http://teamcanadaonline.net/rules/floorrules.rtf, with some modifications we've found useful for the Virtual sets.

Registration will begin at 10am May 25th, with the first round beginning at 11am.

Time limits for each round will be 50 minutes. The number of rounds will be based on players in attendance. However, we'll be doing a minimum of 4 rounds rather than 3 that is stated for 8 Players or less.
9-16 Players - 4 Rounds. 17-32 Players - 5 Rounds. 33-64 Players - 6 Rounds.

There will be a half an hour break after the 3rd round.

After the last Swiss rounds prizes will be drafted using a snake format. Players will draft from first to last, and then last to first, continuing until the available prizing is gone.

Any raffle and 50/50 draws will be completed in this time as well.

We will be cutting to a Top 4 after Swiss, unless there are more than 16 people. Then there will be a Top 8.

Please remember that proxies are allowed. Ensure that the wording reflects the most recent printing and has the correct number of lines on the card.
