So each year I try to find something cool or unique to buy at Gen Con. Drew normally shows me something awesome each year. However, I'm curious to know those who plan to go, what games are worth buying or demoing?

After Origins ends, Board Game Geek usually puts up it's list of gaming's debuting at Gen Con.
This year was almost record turnover on it as that list is up.

Smash Up

Spyfall(Drew owns it, good for groups)

I recently tried and enjoyed the games Walk the Plank, Rumble in the Dungeon, and Organ Attack.   All three are casual games that take about 30 minutes or less and Organ Attack is surprisingly educational as well.  If Awkward Yeti has a booth at Gencon, look them up.

Smash Up is fun I have played it a handful of time, wish I owned some of it, but I don't, Spyfall I have never played so I can't say if I like it or not, but I do suggest looking at Board Game Geek for their GenCon release list and finding games on there you may be interested in that is what I usually do, well that and I watch some YouTube reviewers like Bowers Game Corner with their top 10 most anticipated games of GenCon and such.

I'll probably also bring my copy of exploding kittens too....simple fun game, you never run through the deck even....and the joy and strategy in screwing everyone else is much fun :laugh:

That sounds like disturbing fun...I'm in haha. Also I'm going to bring Quelf. It's a really great game with 4+ people.
