Velacards presents the 2016 WWE Raw Deal World Championships at Gen Con

The Raw Deal Players Committee is excited and proud to again have Velacards as the sponsor for the 2016 World Championships. Remember kids, Velacards is the one stop shop for all your Raw Deal and Supershow needs!

Having gotten our sponsorship obligations out of the way, the Raw Deal Players Committee would like to issue a friendly reminder that Gen Con is just A MONTH AWAY.

I've personally seen the mountains of prize support Velacards has given for this. Get HYPED! I'm going to need 2 Luggage Cases to bring all this stuff with me to Indy. Among the mountains of Wrestling DVDs, CDs, Raw Deal prize cards, there are no less than 20 YES 20 Backstage Signature Cards up for grabs during the 4 day festival of Raw Deal that will happen at Gen Con 2016, culminating of course with the the 2016 World Championships presented by Velacards on Saturday, August 6.

Remember, if you want to get your hands on some of these great prizes, and perhaps etch your name on the Mount Rushmore of Raw Deal and claim the 2016 Raw Deal World Championship presented by Velacards, you'll have to get to Gen Con.

By the way, if you're not following @VelaCards on Twitter, he's starting to do sneak peeks of cards you can expect to Debut at Gen Con as well as the prizes.

No "FULL CARDS" being shown ....yet ...

However, there have been a ton of "sneak peeks" happening, including some AMAZING alternate art Superstar face cards that just started getting spoiled.

If you are going to Gen Con this year, you're going to be seeing some really cool shi ....stuff! 8)

Please read if you intend on attending Gen Con and playing in the Velacards 2016 WWE Raw Deal World Championships sponsored by Velacards.

As we prepare for the Velacards 2016 WWE Raw Deal World Championships sponsored by Velacards, there are a couple of important announcements that bears repeating.

A.) Decklists are REQUIRED and MANDATORY for the Velacards 2016 WWE Raw Deal World Championships sponsored by Velacards Saturday main event only. There are reasons for this and there are no exceptions. This is not a frugal exercise, ask the people who made the cut most notably in 2013, there will be deck checks and there will be penalties if your deck is not the same as on the paper. Being TYPED is no longer mandatory, but take deck-checks very seriously.

B.) I will be running a majority of the tournaments onsite, so if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me. If I look frayed, exasperated, and tired, it's because I will be. Bringing prize support cross country and running tournaments for 4 days for no compensation will wear on anybody. Your patience is appreciated, as I, and the RDPC team that is bringing you the Velacards 2016 WWE Raw Deal World Championships sponsored by Velacards, will do our collectively best to call everything right down the middle while blowing a whistle as loudly as I can.

C.) Above all, remember Raw Deal is also a game. Have fun!

D.) Having said that, the Velacards 2016 WWE Raw Deal World Championships sponsored by Velacards is still serious business, please treat it as such. It is also a place where fellow Raw Deal Players from across the country/globe will be traveling to play Raw Deal. Be respectful and be treat your fellow players how you would like to be treated. I didn't fly across the country to tolerate any berating of fellow players or shenanigans of any kind. Do not test me with your whining, complaining, or anything along those lines either. We're here to have fun.

E.) Finally, I want to loudly again promote Velacards for his gracious prize support. Worlds wouldn't be what it is without our gracious sponsor!

Considering all Mr. Vela has done for the game for the last few years, it almost seems neglectful that we haven't done more to pimp out Velacards over the years. So it's very much overdue. :)

This and everyone else who enjoys this game enough to keep it going LONG after it probably should have run out of gas...if it wasn't for this bunch of loyal passionate folks who won't give up on this game and give us a reason to schlep out to the middle of Indianapolis once a year to enjoy this madness :)
