I messed with the numbers this year and got it down so that all of our events are $2 except the World Championships which is a measly $4.  And if you have ever been to Gen Con, you know that you'll probably get some prizes that far exceed that price point, especially for the World Championships

So help us out by PRE-PURCHASING actual tickets for events you will participate in (heck even those that you won't participate in, it's just $2).  We'd greatly appreciate it so we can prove to Gen Con that we deserve space.  That helps the Raw Deal Players Committee in coming back to Gen Con. 

Also, this comes up every year, yes, there is a soft cap on the event that we have to put up for Gen Con purposes. BUT WE WILL NEVER TURN YOU AWAY for a Raw Deal event.  EVER.

And this year 2 callups that I have high hopes for again at Worlds,  CRASHER and Rated SRH. Many thanks to you fine gentlemen.  As well as to our Design Team, our playtesters, and you guys who all help keep this game afloat buy simply playing and helping us continue Raw Deal. And while I'm at it, my wife and kids, who are the real magic in my life, and have always supported me in everything that I do, no matter how nerdy or awesome.

Also if all judges would review the event times and PM me the events you are going to be playing in to see which can be ran without Drew or myself, I would like to get my schedule set for the con so I can buy tickets next week to other events and can then assign Judges to events.

That's the basics of it yes, we've been discussing other details of it too to nail it down fully, but that's the general concept :)

OK ... I'm looking to see what players would like to see for Backstage Autograph Session cards for this year's Gen Con event(s). I will have access to a pretty decent lot of names to get signatures from, but I know I can't get everyone. I'm only looking at names that have either been printed by CI or have been made available via Virtual. I am not interested in names that have never been with any organization that hasn't been done in RAW Deal or at least has a card with their name on it in RAW Deal.

They will be done as dual signed cards, but I could also try and get Booker to sign a couple solo as well.

You should start at the Gen Con site (http://www.gencon.com/), make an account, and get yourself all signed up that way.  That's a lot better than trying to do anything at the last minute for the event.
The issue with trying to get tickets isn't the tickets itself; if you're not local to Indianapolis, good luck getting a hotel anywhere inside the outer-belt.


Just be aware that, if you do go, there's a LOT more to do then just Raw Deal (like some random game called Supershow [yes, I had to shill for it]).

I dont have enough vacation time to go for the full 4 days, so im riding out friday night, getting there by saturday morning playing worlds and might hang around afterwards then hitting a bus back home.

I have an account and i was trying to buy my badge and ticket to worlds in one shot, but it wont let me

I would say I'm upgrading my chances of making Saturday (at least, maybe sunday too) to 10%...so when's the last day to buy a ticket?? Just so I know for sure when I need to have it by (assuming that date hasn't passed)

You can always buy a generic ticket at con.  We simply ask that if possible, you support us by buying the real ticket for the event.  It's the same price and it helps our numbers by showing Gen Con we deserve event space and time for future events.
