Recently printed off NRD and am loving it, but maybe I just really need to go to bed but could someone explain how I Aims ta be Startin' Sump'tin' works. I've sat here and read it like 20 times but still don't 100% think I get it.

I Aims ta be Startin' Sump'tin'
Pre-match Feud
Your opponent reveals the top 3 cards of his Arsenal and randomly reveals cards from his Backlash until he reveals 3 Mid-match cards.  Return all non-Mid-match cards revealed to his Backlash.
Your opponent chooses a player.  That player and his opponent alternate choosing cards until all 6 cards are chosen, your opponent returns his chosen cards to their respective zones and shuffles his Arsenal.
If your opponent chose himself, remove your cards chosen from the game.  If your opponent chose you, put your cards chosen into his Ringside.

...also my I never quite understood the whole best of ability thing in Raw Deal since the local judge during the games run always changed their mind on it. If  I can kill most of my opponents backlash deck till they have like 6 or 7 cards left in it, can they not discard my Pop a 40 and Check Your Rollies...It's Cryme Tyme or can they just go best of ability and discard their backlash to meet the requirement?

Pre-match Event
Choose 1 card in your opponent's Ring.
When this card is in your Ring, this card gains that card's text and that card reads as blank text.
After this card is successfully played, or at the start of your opponent's turn, he may discard 10 cards from his Backlash.  If he does, put this card into your Ringside.

No, the wording is here is very (perfectly) specific.

You may discard 10 Backlash cards.  Period.  If you do... (X happens)

This is the same as the wording from Classic Raw Deal's "Twisted Smile".  You may do X, if you do, Y happens.  (Optional: If not, Z happens)  Unlike a direct effect that is resolved 'to the best of your ability', like Spit - if you only have 3, discard 3 - this is a choice you may to use this effect.  If you don't meet the conditions, you can't use it.  (Like Classic RD's Jericho, you can't use his Ability with no cards in hand).

For Aims, it goes like this: (We'll say you played this card against me)

Step 1: I reveal the top 3 cards of my Arsenal, we'll call them A B and C.

Step 2: Then I reveal random cards from Backlash until there's 3 Mid-matches revealed (we'll call them D E and F).  Any Pre-matches I revealed go back into my Backlash.

Step 3: I choose a player, you or me.  Let's say I choose me, because I want first pick.  I choose B.  You choose Backlash card D.  I choose Backlash card E, you choose A, I choose F, you choose C.

Step 4: The cards I chose go back to where they came from.  A is shuffled into my Arsenal, E and F go back into my Backlash.

Step 5: Since I picked myself as the chosen player, the other 3 cards you chose are removed from the game.  (If I had chosen you, you'd get to pick first instead of me, but then the cards you pick just go to Ringside instead, but I still keep all the cards I chose)

Don't feel bad, I had to read it twice to remember how it works, heh.  Make sense now?  :)

Yes that makes since now, thanks. Also one more thing I thought to ask just for clarity. With the Card GM's word is law, could I double up a card like Old School Wrestling match or just get two different Stip/Managers into play?

CreedP

I don't recall GM's Word is Law, and don't see it on a quick check of the most recent Rumble spoilers.  Card text, please (both cards)?  :)

Oh, then yeah, you can drop OSWM.

It gives you a lot of options, really.  :)
