Undertaker is a good one.  He's got some simple mechanics that can be played with complexity, with or without the Backlash.  He's also someone most people know.

Ric Flair is probably another good choice.

I would stay away from characters like Cena or HHH that shut down aspects of the game.  They aren't really suitable for beginners.

i would just build 2 decks with a backlash deck that is simple enough

Split up the PDFs using a PDF editor to include only the cards you want.

me i open my pdf viewer which is foxit reader. print screen paste it on paint and crop what card i need to put it on microsoft word
