Virtual Raw Deal / Re: Virtual 10: Breaking Ground
September 28, 2019, 10:20:32 AM
The issue is not that he goes full chain or full heat or full volley. It's more so the option to play bits of support for each, and for tech/dynamic. Once Matt Striker is in play he basically has no cost to use his ability, and if Tech Shoot is in ring he can make his opponent discard for a successful or a reversed maneuver. It's easy to say well no deck can rely on low F actions, but theres more than enough actions in a deck full of hybrids to bait out those reversals, or more than enough chain help to kill their hand before trying to play actions. I'm really excited to play it but I can see why players would see this as being OP. If it's been play tested properly against the types of decks Keith brought up I'm happy to see it out in the real world, but I can see the concerns of power creep

The text to remove 4 psychology cards is missing from the Virtual set list thread, but is present in Lackey and on VelaCards
Which of these is correct, and can we get it updated?

EDIT: the .pdf and .doc files for break down the walls also have the remove 4 text

Rules Forum / Re: First to tap out in multiplayer
December 06, 2017, 10:46:03 AM
As Creed says, there are no official multiplayer rules. This depends on what your playgroup wants to do, if a player pinning someone by conventional means (i.e. no cards left in arsenal) would end the game, then so would successful use of FTTOM. If it's a last man standing, then I'd treat it as eliminating the player who had maintain played against them.

Yeah sorry, I should have made that clear,

Follow up question, does this mean each player on a team may play their own fifth anniversary, and their own enough shenanigans etc or are these one per team?

If Paul Heyman teams with Sgt. Slaughter (Or any other superstar with a SS Stipulation) can they pack Boot Camp Match in their shared backstage area and put it into play with Heyman's ability?

Deck overview: with the option to pack face and heel, fan favorite, cheater as well as being a legend, a stable and a tag team a lot of cards are open to you and while there are some obvious choices: Sloppy, Manager, Handicap, both Teamworks, Jimmy Hart, All These Years, In My Day and Cowboy; there are a lot of difficult decisions when it comes to paring it down to 60 cards
That's Value is much more versatile with the ability to pack any card on it, so the 10 cards are there to thin the deck out (along with the tech kicks to search themselves) so that you have a good reversal base and always have something to play. The 3 Minutes take advantage of Let's Get it On.
The Figure Four is mainly only played when it can't be reversed, a Dirty Low Blow might be added for this purpose.
With the card pool being so wide, there's no room for Carlito or Great to be Back; but a lot of these cases are handled by Old School Brawl and the Unique reversals. the capacity of the deck also led to going with 2 Once is Enough, and 3 GTFO, chosen this way because of GTFO's versatility.
The kidney punches are only in the arsenal to remove Wrestlemania, which works with the value modification in the backstage and prematch (Sig, Appearance, Endorsements)

The 2 cards in the deck that didn't see any use were Wrecking Crew, which was played every match but the effect never used, and Best Thing Going which wasn't played, but is still worth packing.

You can't play reversals during the Pre-match phase, since it's not a turn.

Does this hold up for Jump The Bell too? I always assumed the cannot be reversed just meant Sidewalk Slam only

Hi All, I'm the 'Commissioner' for a group of Raw Deal players in Scotland, Long time lurker on this forum, but never posted to introduce myself.
Anyway, my first question is this:
How many times in a game can a player refuse a count out win? We currently play with a one-time refusal (Like a last chance to hit damage scenario) but I realize upon reading the last FAQ from CI that this isn't explicitly stated and is more how we've interpreted it.

My other point if interest is figuring out the best way to move into Virtual Sets, We currently only play Classic All Axxess, with a roster system in place to avoid multiples of the same superstar, and with a league system in place where 3 players are the World, Intercontinental, and European Champions, and they are the only superstars allowed to play Title Belts, which are used as backstage cards, rather than Pre-Match cards.
How viable is this system, moving into virtual sets? Will we still be able to play with no Revolution? Are there any recommended online printers for the virtual sets?
Thanks in advance for any advice/answers

Fantasy Cards / Superstar Logos

Hey all,
Been looking for the .zip with all the superstar logos, and the only place it seems to be hosted is on Raw Deal Planet, which is now defunct, and I can't get it from there, just wondered if anyone would be willing to host it so I can grab them
Cheers
