PPV's subbed-in moves against Piper are Shoot Aerial 360 (0 to 7) and then Flying Body Press (7 to 19), reverse pretty much anything for a point of damage, then start throwing TB Shooting Star Presses and finishers. It's pretty brutal.

and most of his unique high risks are still hard to reverse with low fort even when blank

That, my friends, is a different era of Raw Deal. Great American Bash brought with it a new threat...

Andre the Giant

Piper's reign of terror began a couple of sets prior to PPV, and at that time, RVD didn't hold a candle to him.

I remember in me and my brother's start of Raw Deal, he made an Andre deck and I still had my Sarge Deck, and I Cobra Clutched him and his reversals were too spaced apart.   Made my friggin day.

yeah before that the only one who could really combat Piper I'd think was Eugene.  Throwing all those uniques to the face would be his only hope

I never dreaded BFM. I liked facing him. If you could minimize the opening blow you were all right. Not to mention that so many played BFM that he was metad against and he would drop or scoop towards the end when another BFM was going to make the cut over him.
55 Votes and Piper still wins, give this a little more time for any other votes otherwise will be closing it down soon

Yeah I think the 12 votes did not consider the rev 4 nerfing he got but I still agree he was a beast.

BFM should have a 8 vote handicap for coming in so late in the field. :)

well i meant mr ppv, who had plenty of high risks that had reverse in its text which no longer needed to be set up in order to be hit

If piper had an elbow to the face for mr monday night you had better hope you had something else to get some fort against him. Usually I just waited for let me get a shot in or something like shoot arial 360 kick tb or something to that effect to get some base fort off... unless he could handle a unique maneuver thrown at him every turn or a can only be reversed high risk piper was toast.

Why would that matter?  That shoot aerial is only from arsenal :p

the mr monday night COULD be reversed by piper, the shoot aerial was piper only tech.

For Piper, PPV gets Shoot Aerial < Flying Body Press < 1F worth of pain reversal < TB Shooting Star Press.

Everyone else gets derfed by the 0/5 and whatever PPV wants to throw after that, since they're all just normal people next to him.
