mid match action effect

How do you reverse an effect that says "as a midmatch action" like the way the original Trash Talkin Interview. It's not an ACE and it's already in play so how can I stop the effect?

It IS an ACE.

The 'as a mid match action' text is old wording before ACE was a thing.

The "as a Mid-match Action" thing was actually intended to break up follow-ups so you couldn't, say, play From the Top Rope, then activate your Trash Talkin' Interview, then follow up with a High Risk, because the Trash Talkin' Interview activation ate the follow-up chance.

Needless to say, this was idiotic, and has been dummied out by the rulebook circa the Survivor Series 3 era. "As a Mid-match Action" on ACEs has no rules meaning now. Trash Talkin' Interview is still an ACE and gets reversed like any other ACE.
