Superstar Spotlight: <R>VD
« on: January 31, 2018, 03:34:56 AM »
Alright, here it is the return of Superstar Spotlight! Just for a refresher, if you are curious about ANY superstar send me a message and I'll spotlight your request. This will include Revolution superstars as well. I will also allow for previously done superstars to be revisited as well. This game changes with every set, so I have no issue with repeated superstars. That being said here is our next superstar.

Please keep those requests coming. Today's is another 'request' in <R> RVD!!!!!

1.)  How viable is this superstar?
2.)  Is there a Superstar Specific Card that you'd like to spotlight?
3.)  How have you built said superstar?  How did it work out?
4.)  How well does the Superstar fare in whichever format you built them in be it VC/VAA/NXT/VR/Non-Virtual
5.)  Final Thoughts on this Superstar?

1.)  How viable is this superstar?
He was extremely viable before <R> Ruckus at Ringside came out.
2.)  Is there a Superstar Specific Card that you'd like to spotlight?
Revolution Because I'm Rob... Van... Dam! Make the downside of Originals barely a downside for him and gets rid of the requirement on his Faction extremes.
3.)  How have you built said superstar?  How did it work out?
I built him in <R> with <R> ECW Originals and <R> The New Breed which allowed him to run all sorts of Faction Extremes. Won worlds with it in 2014, so worked out really well.
4.)  How well does the Superstar fare in whichever format you built them in be it VC/VAA/NXT/VR/Non-Virtual? VR, with Ruckus being so popular grabbing the right extreme from ringside doesn't do what it used to, but he can still hit hard.
5.)  Final Thoughts on this Superstar? Packing 3x<R> Extreme Brutal Beatdown is one of the best parts about the deck, no hybrids and grab 2 moves can swing a game like crazy.
