Looking to start playing online
« on: November 10, 2017, 02:59:45 PM »
I used to play raw deal from the beginning to Insurrextion where it started to die down when several shops that hosted tournaments closed.  I am looking to play again on Lackey.  I am trying to figure out what version you guys play when you do All axxess, classic, etc not sure.  I started remaking my go to The Game deck from back in the day.

The most common on Lackey is Virtual Classic, there is a couple classic players but I rarely ever see them on and they only seem to play each other and then log off.
We also started up a Discord server for coordinating lackey games here: https://discord.gg/AGF4wG8
Personally I keep around 2 classic decks for anyone who really wants to play classic but VC is more fun since it is still changing.

Thanks Mitch, are there new rules for Virtual Classic vs. Classic?  Also, when I am building a deck can you use classic cards or just virtual classic?

Virtual Classic is all non-revolution cards in the game, classic and virtual together.

Here is the forum for Virtual Raw Deal:

Biggest rule change is backlash is now 12/12 with a 6/6 capacity and there is now an Allegiance phase played BEFORE the Venue. Also read all of the backstage cards with "shenanigans" in the title if you plan to play virtual.

Ok looks like I have some reading to do, but I will get up and going pretty soon.  Thanks for the help!

Also I made this guide a while ago to help get going with some of Lackey's functions:
