Jarret and Stun
« on: October 18, 2017, 06:02:57 PM »
Has any one ever tried Jeff Jarrett with "Stun the Crowd?" Does it work? Is there even a whole lot of reversing from Arsenal anymore? Getting a basic framework as we wait for the new cards. THank you in advance for any help and insight.

I mean, it can't hurt too much.  Jarrett's issue is his disappearing hand, so having a stun-heavy deck and Stun The Crowd can only help.

As to overturn reversals, it depends on the opponent - I'd say most opponents that run Rev of the Mind probably overturn about 6 maneuvers max unless they're designed to do otherwise.

I ran him with There is No Escape, play unique moves that are all +2 stun value and a couple stun the crowds to make Classic 0 for 6's, 0 for 8 and all +4 stun.

And now re-reading the ability, it's will on do one a turn, not one for every card I choose not to draw?

Just once period, not draw 4 stun and they discard 4/burn 4 cause that would be crazy good.

Yeah, that's busted as all you-know-what.

Also of note - when you use Jarrett's ability, you would forfeit however many cards you'd draw for that one instance, no matter the number.  Ex: if you Offer Handshake (tb) and use your ability on the draw, you would not draw anything, cause the opponent to burn 1/discard 1, and then he draws 1.

I tried him with evening the odds, worked ok at times. Mainly inconsistent due to having to keep your hand size down

LOL, sounds like real life Jarrett, kinda OK, but mostly average, thinks he's WAY better than he is and in the end kinda overrated....story checks out
