The Total Package Strength of Allied Powers
« on: November 03, 2017, 02:14:56 PM »
The Total Package
Starting Hand Size: 6     Superstar Value: 3
WWF Superstar Ability: Your cards cannot be modified by non-Backstage card effects or your opponent's Ability.
You may pack No Sell Maneuver cards and Lex Luger cards, replace "dynamic" with "BASH" in their text, and they are WWF cards instead of WCW or nWo cards.

Strength of Allied Powers
Mid-match Action
During your turn, you may put this card from your Backlash into your Ring.
When your card is unsuccessful, you may put it under this card.
When you have at least 3 cards under this card that include 1 maneuver, 1 action, and 1 reversal, your maneuvers cannot be reversed by non-Unique reversals from hand.
During his turn, your opponent may discard 3 cards and overturn 3 cards, and then you put all cards under this card into your Ringside.

Since from the bolded text, it seems that Strength of Allied Powers isn't able to interact with The Total Package ability, so is there another reason to pack it since his v8 card kinda encourage it?

Made in the U.S.A.
Backstage Card
Replace 'classic' with 'BASH' on your Classic Competitor.
Once during each of your turns, when your maneuver is unsuccessful, your opponent discards 1 card and you may put 1 card from your Ringside under Strength of Allied Powers.
Your opponent cannot play non-Unique reversals to your Lex Luger-specific actions or Luger's Running Forearm, and when you successfully play Luger's Running Forearm as a maneuver, he overturns 7 cards and you put up to 4 cards from your Ringside on the bottom of your Arsenal.

Made in the USA seems to be one card that was made to have different uses for different superstars. Total package gets the BASH recovery, Luger gets the Allied Forces support, and then both benefit from the last paragraph. There are many other cards like this, mainly killing two birds with one stone instead of making 1 card for just total package and 1 just for luger

Luger can't pack Made in the U.S.A. as it doesn't have his logo.

We'll revise Allied Powers in the future to affect the opponent's reversals instead, so it is actually useful for Total Package. Apologies for the oversight.
