2 player starter set is all you really need and you're off to the races. It's a super easy to learn game, fast paced and extremely fun.

Ah, I see. Would backing the kickstarter for a tin be enough to kick off playing? Or should I source for the 2-player deck on the website instead?

Any of the Kickstarter reward tiers at or above the $25 tier are going to give you at least enough to start playing with two players.

Supershow is VERY fun, easy to learn, and the Kickstarter is a great way to get in on the fun!
And if you're in SoCal, you should come and join us during our tournaments at the Wrestling Guy Store!

The SRG Universe site and the Velacards site are the only other ways to purchase specific characters and individual cards that I know of.

I really recommend you give the game a try, totally worth it!
