NFL 2017 Free Agency
« on: March 09, 2017, 09:04:38 AM »
Gonna start this here. There's been a few moves already. Patriots sign Gilmore from Bills, which is a HUGE get. Pats are also working a deal to send Malcom Butler to Saints for Bradin Cooks.

We still need to lock Hightower up. Raiders are going to sign Bennett.

Good get for the Raiders if he stays healthy.

I don't think Hightower or Ryan are going back to the Pats based on what I'm seeing, but I've been wrong before.

Texans trade Brock to Browns! This almost guarantees Romo to Texans.

Texans part with a second round pick to dump Osweiler, and the Browns are talking about straight-up releasing him now.  How bad has it got for that guy?

Wake up to a Bleacher Report update. Jimmy says farewell to Boston. There is no trade confirmed at all. Browns must want to cough up that #1 overall pick.

He claimed it was a hack...but I think he'll be traded, but doubtful for #1. IMO that's be the stupidest trade of all time

IMO, only an idiot would trade #1 for Jimmy Garoppolo. He looks to be a good QB, but so did Matt Cassel until he left New England. Only piece in NE I'd give up that pick for is Belichick.

Granted, we're talking about the Factory of Sadness here, so I wouldn't put it past them.

My Eagles had a hell of a day yesterday. First true 1WR since Owens, a guy who's both fast and capable of catching a football for the first time in I don't know how long at 2WR, a young OL who may be salvageable, and all it's cost us so far is a guy who looked out of place in Jim Schwartz's system. (It'll probably also cost us Kelce and a couple other vets.)
