SoCal Raw Deal players.. where you at?
« on: January 03, 2016, 11:31:30 AM »
I've been incorporating virtual cards into my Raw Deal collection (which took a beating since I stupidly dumped majority of commons and uncommons, and accidentally several foils and SS cards into the trash after I got married) over the past several months, but haven't had chance to play them yet because I don't know anyone in my area who still plays.  If you live in SoCal near Los Angeles (I live in San Gabriel Valley area) please PM me and hopefully we can find a place to play.  Bonus if you know anyone else who can join our little group.  Thanks.

The SoCal group has mostly scattered, and unfortunately don't live close together.  I'm all the way out in Palm Springs, past civilization, heh.

There's others (VelaCards, BuddhaDudley) in the L.A. / Valley / O.C. areas, though.

Hitman,

I used to play with the various SoCal crews back in the day, at Burbank at King's and also at Porter Ranch in the defunct game store there that folded several years back. But I live in Santa Monica now.

There are 2-3 guys that live in Covina in SGV that are on these boards, but not for a bit.  You may want to PM them.

Thanks.  I used to play at the the shop in Burbank too.  I love the way they introduce each match with the theme music of the wrestler. I would love to find a local group to test my decks with.  I'll be PMing these two.  Thanks again.

I am sure we did.  I used to play a guy there by the name of Super Jew (his online forum handle)  Don't know if he's still around.

I haven't seen Kyle for a long while, irl or playing Raw Deal. Last I saw him, he took in a PWG show about 5-6 years ago, so yes it's been a LONG while since I've seen Kyle.

I used to play at King's and more often at "Always Gamming" in Chatsworth back in the day. Pretty sure I know some of you guys. Is Nate the same Nate that used to used Undertaker and always  P.O.D. me into some big grapple?

I'm still alive, if anyone was remotely concerned. Struggling to breathe at times, but still causing problems. Anyone else?

I have been buying cards from you Vela and plan on doing so for the forseeable future. This game allways has been ans stillnis really good in my opinion. I have a reputation of reviving games maybe I can for this game also.
