Clutch and Cannot be Reversed
« on: April 06, 2015, 12:10:25 PM »
If Clutch Onto Opponent is modified to become "Cannot be reversed.", is Sidewalk Slam TB able to reverse it?

I think the answer is no since Clutch Onto Opponent's text says "Can only be reversed by cards that specifically reverse the card titled Clutch onto Opponent." From my understanding, card modifications stack with other reversal restrictions instead of replacing them.

Just want to clarify my doubts.

In a word, no. If you were to make Clutch Onto Opponent unreversible with say Diversion, Sidewalk Slam (TB) still wouldn't be able to reverse it.
