Iron Shiek: Iran number one
« on: November 03, 2012, 03:56:14 PM »
Once during each of your turns, name a non-Superstar-specific maneuver; your cards with that title are now Heat when played for the rest of the turn, but your opponent ignores any printed reversal restrictions on that card (including Chain).
When you successfully play a Heat maneuver, search your Arsenal for a Heat maneuver, put it in your Ringside, and shuffle your Arsenal; when he is a Legend, he then reveals his hand.

Which virtual classic maneuvers are some of the good ones to make Heat with this card. I want to make good use of this but I'm not seeing what I'm looking for. Any ideas?

Inverted Leg Lock is a good one.

In my Iron Shiek deck the only manuevers I have in it that I use this ability with is snap suplex(TB).   Because it is one of my favorite cards period and with the heat reversals and backlash you should be packing, you don't really need all your hand anyways.

Precision Clothesline is a good one..  Possibly a 0/8 and fuel your ringside with heats.

I built a Shiek that was Volley cards, and then once a turn I'd just name one of the Volley maneuvers to be Heat.  Making Cold-cocked a Heat card was fun.

Making blindside cards into heat cards would be oddly funny :D

How would that work rules-wise? Would the heat trait override the blindside "play from ringside" requirement?

Doing that with technical and dynamic cards would be trippy too.....

Most Blindsides don't have a play-from-Ringside requirement, they have a played-from-Ringside effect. Heat doesn't bypass that, so making Blindsides into Heat cards is only useful if you want to recover or throw a Blindside Slam from Ringside without nuking your Heat.

but your opponent ignores any printed reversal restrictions on that card (including Chain).

does this include making a multi maneuver a non-multi one?

Multi is not a reversal restriction.
