FINAL Round 5 RESULTS - The TCOverPower Tag Team Tournament

Welcome to The TCOverPower Tag Team Tournament! Battles will be waged across Earth as the mightiest heroes and villians team up to determine who is THE BEST AROUND!

YOU DON'T HAVE TO KNOW OR DO ANYTHING TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS!!!! YOU the players just have to pick a team AND DO NOTHING BUT SIT BACK, while my friend and I play out TCOverPower. Sign up will end on February 28th. Up to 32 players can sign up for this event.

The winner of The TCOverPower Tag Team Tournament will receive a Marvel OverPower PROTOTYPE Training card. This is not a normal card or a promo card, this card was actually used back in 1994/95 to playtest OverPower! These cards are incredibly rare and are basically never seen for sale!




HOW TO SELECT YOUR TEAM & TOURNAMENT RULES
TEAM RULES
-Select 2 different characters (that have not already been selected). Their combined POINT TOTALS must equal 32-46 points. A LIGHTWEIGHT TEAM is worth 32-36 points. A MIDDLEWEIGHT TEAM is worth 37-41 points. A HEAVYWEIGHT TEAM is worth 42-46 points.
-State which character of your team is the RESERVE CHARACTER.
-Select EXACTLY 18 cards from the UNIVERSE/TACTIC Card List.

TOURNAMENT RULES
-The tournament will be up to 5 rounds of single elimination (sign up will determine how many rounds). Round byes will be initiated unless exactly 8, 16 or 32 players sign up.
-BYES: When a BYE has to be given to a team during a round, a D6 is rolled. 1-3: the bye is given to the LIGHTWEIGHT TEAM worth the least amount of points if able. 4-5: the bye is given to the MIDDLEWEIGHT TEAM worth the least amount of points if able. 6: the bye is given to the HEAVYWEIGHT TEAM worth the least amount of points if able. Winner of any point ties is chosen at random.

-During each match-up (except during the final round) Battlesites may be awarded at random to a single team in that match-up (there is a 50% chance this will happen for each match). Battlesites help the chosen team by giving them the added aid of a random run-in character for the remainder of that match-up.
-BATTLESITES: When a match is determined to use a Battlesite, a D6 is rolled. 1-3: the Battlesite is gained by a LIGHTWEIGHT TEAM if able. 4-5: the Battlesite is gained by a MIDDLEWEIGHT TEAM if able. 6: the Battlesite is gained by a HEAVYWEIGHT TEAM if able. If LIGHTWEIGHT vs. LIGHTWEIGHT or MIDDLEWEIGHT vs. MIDDLEWEIGHT, the team worth more points has the roll that effects them raised (1-3 becomes 4-5, 4-5 becomes 6). If HEAVYWEIGHT vs. HEAVYWEIGHT, the team worth less points has the roll that effects them lowered (6 becomes 4-5). If each team is worth the same points then each team has an equal chance to gain the Battlesite.

-Rounds will alternate between both members of a team being on the Front Line AND between one member being on the Front Line and the other member being in Reserve (Reserve enters when their Front Line partner is KO'd). Reserve characters cannot play cards or have cards played against them unless a card or effect specifically states so.
-Round 1 begins with both members being on the Front Line.
-A team loses as soon as both teammates are KO'd. Teammates on a winning team are revived from KO and have all hits removed from themselves between rounds.

CHARACTER LIST
-If a character has an (r) beside their name then that character has special cards or abilities that can be used when that character is in RESERVE.
-Stats listed are E-F-S-I (pts): ENERGY-FIGHTING-STRENGTH-INTELLECT (POINT TOTAL).
-If there is a * in the point total then read the characters adjacent ability to find out the true point value.
-Some characters have "Any Character: "X" listed in their ability. This is a special card that can be used by any character. However if you select such a character then your team can never use a Battlesite.
-Some characters have special cards and abilities that may effect Venture Total. Whatever team has the highest Venture Total during a Battle (turn) goes first at the start of the next Battle (turn).
-Each character has 16 specials unless stated otherwise. If you select a character that has fewer or no specials, you will run out of specials faster.

UNIVERSE/TACTIC CARD LIST
There is a Power Deck and Special Deck used in this version of OverPower. You have no control over either. However you do control and must control what Universe and Tactic cards you want in your Power Deck. These cards can create team attacks and can make single attacks more powerful.
There are 43 numbers below. You need to select EXACTLY 18 total cards. To do so, when submitting your team you must also submit the Universe/Tactic numbers you want to use. They have 32, but only one of each of their One Per Decks is used.

This makes it a good idea so your hand doesn't get clogged with She-Hulk specials when all you've got on the table is Daredevil. (She-Hulk + Daredevil would be a pretty sweet team, the Ace Attorneys.)
