Virtual All Axxess - Latino Cheat Decklist
« on: August 27, 2012, 11:46:00 AM »
I got a request for the undefeated Latino Cheat I ran at Gen Con that won the Virtual All Axxess Qualifier

Virtual All Axxess - Latino Cheat
Face/Smackdown/Fan Favorite

Notes
=====
Play 1 Backstage Card (Your Choice) with the Shenanigans Package

Pre-Match (12)
=====
Houston, Texas
Bitter Rivals
Managed by Vince McMahon TB
It's All About The Game
Product Endorsements (TB)
Old School Psychology
Backed by Vickie Guerrero
It's Hard Being This Original
Hold On! It's Not Time to Show Yet! (TB)
Restart the Match
<R> Gone - But Not Forgotten
<R> Edge Is In My Corner

Pre-Match Notes
=====
The Pre-Match seems mismoshed but it all makes sense when put in to proper perspective. Yes there is an IAATG in this deck, and yes it wins games. If your opponent was foolish enough not to reveal Enough Shenanigans, punish him, and make them reconsider if that -1 SHS was worth it. Your Pre-Match when they don't reveal Enough Shenanigans goes

*Houston, Tx
*Bitter Rivals
*Managed by Vince McMahon
*Edge is In My Corner
*IAATG
*My Game, My Way

The IAATG setup also allows you to drop in Buying Myself Some Time, while not interfering with Pump Kick's text as BMST is put in to play, Pump Kick will still be the first non-Prematch card "played."

Bitter Rivals is so that you can get to play Product Endorsements (TB) first when the opponent does reveal Enough Shenanigans, and thus seize the first turn when you lock down his SSV. Otherwise, if he does reveal Enough Shenanigans, you're dropping every Pre-match down. Amazingly enough, with It's Hard Being This Original, I'm searching for Pump Kick if I'm go first, but if I somehow go second, Whirlwind Kick, and whatever tech card you like. First turn I almost always search for Ref Takes a Bump with my ability. More information on the strategy section. Also the Edge Corner WINS GAMES.

Mid-Match (12)
=====
My Game, My Way
Perfectly Executed Tope
Buying Myself Some Time
Cheating Out of a Pinfall
Guerreros por Siempre!
Goodnight, Everybody
Fortitude Surge
Restricted Use In This Area
You're as Graceful as a Cow
Ultimo Rechazo!
Whatchoo Talkin' 'bout, Ese?
This is Going Nowhere Fast

Maneuvers (21)
=====
Judo Takedown
Let Me Get A Shot In
Pump Kick
Whirlwind Kick
<R> Transition Hold
Boot Lace
Three Amigos
German Suplex (TB)
Atomic Lariat
<R> Garbage Can Lid
The Maneuver of Doom
<R> Edge Clipper
Gut Punch Body Slam
Shoot Lock-Up
<R> Back Breaker
<R> European Uppercut
<R> Discus Punch
<R> Figure Four Leg Lock
Precision Haymaker
Tornado Takedown of Doom
<R> The Rated R Spear

Actions (2)
=====
Ref Takes a Bump
Mania

Antics (5)
=====
<R> Shock The World
<R> Double Your Value - Double Your Fun
<R> Four, Now Go Cat Go
<R> Everything Has Come To Life
<R> A Spirited Turn Of Events

Reversals (32)
=====
Backhand Slap (TB)
Chained Heat
Divine Intervention
Don't Try This At Home
Elbow to The Face
I Gotta Say, Outta Play
It's Great To Be Back Here In...
Just Bring It
Once Is Enough
Over Sell Maneuver
Reach For the Ropes
Too Many Rules, Too Many Refs
Volley This!
You Missed Your Chance
Hold the Phone
The Coach Says Today's the Day
The Raw Deal Revolution
<R> Two For The Show
All Talk, No Action
Get the 'F' Out
Ap Chaki Kick
Ax Kick
Back Throw
Carlito Says That's Not Cool
<R> Why Don't You Kiss My @$%
Enough With The Trash Talk
<R> My Way
<R> Off Your Mark
Sloppy Very Sloppy
<R> Inertia
Armageddon
Edge's Running Spear

Misc Notes
=====
Most games start with Pump Kick if you go first, Whirlwind Kick second. At that point, ALWAYS go for Perfectly Executed Tope, if they reverse from hand, due to Vickie Text, unless it's superstar-specific, it's going to be D:0 like No Sell Maneuver, Cow (if they played Sustained Damage or Raw and Ready to your Pump Kick) allowing you to drop Reg Takes a Bump in to your ring and keep Perfectly Executed Tope in your ring as well for a quick 13F. If neither is a good option, then you may have to turtle for a second before they play a maneuver you can Rechazo, then the same combo still applies, except you're playing <R> Transition Hold to get 4F into Perfectly Executed Tope, hopefully with Ref Takes a Bump In Hand.

After that, just pour on the pain with <R> maneuvers and try to get to your 3 game enders: a Momentum maneuver granted from <R> Everything Has Come To Life, <R> The Rated R Spear, or Precision Haymaker when the opponent has 5 or less cards in arsenal.

I'm always looking for critiques and ways to improve my ideas... So throw them out there

Well, you could start by making your deck legal, buddy.  ;)

LMGASI = Fan Favorite

Cheating Out of a Pinfall = Cheater

Now I know you're playing Latino CHEAT and all, but... haha

Is it Cheater...  BLINK BLINK.

Well eff me sideways.  Stupid Superstar specifics shouldn't be branded

At least Daeva didn't catch it. He hates me...

Edit:  I don't feel that bad, I only Cheated Out of a Pinfall once all Gen Con to beat D2 playing Mr. PPV, and iirc it was before the tourney. I also heard that the PPV deck was not built by d2, probably some second rate deck builder.   :laugh:

Dammit! Now I can't say that I went undefeated in Virtual All Axxess during Gen Con. And of course, Creed, yours was the only deck that I had to Cheating Out of A Pinfall against... And of course, you were probably the ONLY person who'd have noticed the Cheater card, possibly Nate as well.

On a serious note, I LOVED the tech of Actions I couldn't respond against into Technical High Risks in your Mr. PPV. I remember telling D2, "don't you have to discard an Reversal?" when he first played Turn Up The Heat to which he said HELL NO I don't, then we both laughing when i figured out what the tech was.

But I'll get you for this Creed... You and your little understudy, heckbringer, too.

Eh, probably... :)

I'll try to get it posted sometime soon.

Actually... I can spare a couple minutes...

 :o

... I'll be in my card box. (Or perhaps my deck boxes, since that's half of my Eddie Guerrero deck, and half of my Mr. PPV deck.)
