The heat cards are there for the initial part of the game, maybe first and second turn. Because I only have 7 heat cards, I can only play 2 times. After which I have no use for heat.

Hi Guys, after tonnes of review and help from the site, i came up with this weird deck that has worked quite well for me thus far. Not sure if they were good match ups or i had it easy. but here goes:

IAATG Homecoming Inferno Heat Jerry Lawler (SD, FF)

Backstage Area (1)
King's Crown

Prematch (10)
Rochester, New York
WWE Homecoming
Inferno match (tb)
Managed by Dawn Marie
Its all about the game
J.R. style Clubbering x 2
Managed by Vince McMahon (tb)
Its getting hot in here
The luck of the draw

Mid Match (10)
Quick Poke x 3
Back fire x 2
This is just the beginning x 5

Arsenal (60)

Falling Fist x 2
Piledriver x 2
Rolling Headlock vise x 3
Short arm Rib Breaker x 3
Back Breaker Torture rack x 2

Action (12)
Shoot Action x 3
Puppies Puppies (tb) x 3
Enter the Stratusphere x 3
The End is Near x 2
Shane O' Mac

Reversals (36)
Inside Cradle x 3
Backslide x 3
Nerve hold x 2
Reach for the ropes x 2
Overshot your mark x 2
Death Valley Driver
Sidewalk slam (tb) x 2
Elbow to the Face x 3
Oversell Maneuver x 2
Always have plan B x 2
Hold the phone x 2
Don't Try this At Home
Its great to be back here in..
I gotta say, Outta play
Just Bring it
Volley This
No chance in Hell (tb)
Once is enough x 3
Sloppy Very Sloppy x 3

The deck has many layers to it.
If I go first, I will drop Rochester, homecoming, inferno, dawn, IAATG.
If I go second, I will drop Homecoming, Inferno, Dawn, J.R. Style Clubbering x 2
Vince is there in case of Hell. Dawn is there for ACE as i only packed 1 DTTAH

Onces IAATG is dropped, ringside pile would have 7 heat cards from pre and mid match. Key cards to be played is only the 2 backfire mainly to look at opponent's hand for homecoming.

Every turn without fail, activate SSA and Homecoming to get 2 cards to hand. First turn activate kings crown for falling fist. Continue with backfire to check opponent's hand. Depending on the game, I could wait for another opportunity to hit backfire or just activate Rochester/JR style to take out the rest of the heat. Since I only have 5, I can only use 2 heat cards from my ringside pile anyways. JR style is the reason why I have so many hybrid reversals. As I am most likely going to get falling fist through, I skipped the conventional reversals and opted for inside cradle and backslides.

From there, sponge opponent's moves and recover while he burns in hell through inferno, enter and shane o mac. If luck is on my side, I can OTK with falling fist, shoot action, backfire, RHLV/SARB and inside cradle/backslide which i did before.

I look forward to any advice to improve the flow! Till then,

Have a nice day!

But it's a 50 50 chance I can play a venue. And if I do, I would like to play Rochester instead. Any event cards that can do the same?

Well once again I learnt something. Nv knew feeling lucky could be used like that. Would suit Shane o Mac very well.

Currently stuck at the stage of increasing opponent's Ssv above 3 so that I can use psds. Any ideas out there?

Jerry's ability for the Ssv is throughout the game? Darn. Then I might have to skip the product endorsement part and wrestlmania. Will look into the tactic again :) thanks

Thanks for pointing out the part about ppv events. Did not know we could only play 1. Will add in 1 kidney punch instead :)

Deck Reviews - Classic / Jerry Lawler deck review

Hi guys. You might rmb me from the BFM and APA post. I am still working on the list but this jerry Lawler deck was a challenge by my fren. Well actually it's more of showing him that it doesn't take expensive cards to win a game. So first off, I chose Jerry Lawler. With crown.

My idea is for the deck to play sponge all the way, using his ability, WWE homecoming, Rochester, and Jr style clubbering, alongside with enter the stratosphere and Shane o Mac.

Jerry Lawler face  Smackdown ff

Prematch 10
Wwe homecoming
The great American bash (for removing wrestlmania from ringside)
Product endorsement tb
Living legend
J.R style clubbering
Managed by vince (for hell in a cell)

Mid Match 10
This is just the beginning x 7
Break it out
Witte retort x 2 (for Shane o Mac, stratosphere or Jr style)

Falling fist x 2
Piledriver x 2
Rolling headlock vise x 3
Short  arm Rib breaker x 3
Back breaker torture rack x 3

Puppies tb x 3
Enter the stratosphere x 3
Shane o Mac x 2
End is near x 2

Hybrid reversal maneuver (for J.R. Style)
Backslide x 3
Inside cradle x 3
Nerve hold x 2
Side walkslam tb x 2
Death Valley driver x 2
Takedown x 2

Sloppy x 3
Once x 3
Great to be back here x 2
Hold the phone x 2
Oversell x 2
Volley this x 2
Gotta say, outta play
Don't try this at home

I have a few card slots that are empty. I need advice for feeling them up.

Basically I will run venue if possible, followed by everything except managed by vince and Jr style. If I don get venue, then I will go for 2 Jr styles.

Start the game, always search for 2 cards through ability and homecoming. Next, use crown with falling fist, and spam this is just the beginnings till I get 10 or 15f depending on whether Shane o Mac or enter is in my hand.  From there, sponge everything while discarding to recover for Jr style and burning opponent.

Reason wy I omitted inferno match is because this deck is Reversal heavy. I will choose to absorb the move and overturn a hybrid Maneuver Reversal so I can shuffle them in using Rochester or Jr style.

Lastly, wrestlmania is there to ensure I get a second life. Even if opponent's Ssv is 0, I can get to shuffle at least 8 cards for wrestlmania, and I will remove only 1 from the game before I use the great American bash to remove wrestlmania from the game.

Overall I think it's quite gd and not a very expensive deck.  In fact, the most expensive card in the deck was sloppy and puppies :)

Let me know what you guys think k.

Till then,

Have a nice day!

I was contemplating about a Smackdown bfm as well. Run some McCools, and mayb something to pluck wat a Maneuver and a high risk. Get pass those 2 for beg for mercy. From there its just a game of sponging and unleashing hell.

On a side note, can anyone enlighten me as to wat acronyms were used in the above such as hbto and psds

Noted with thanks.

But with a Ssv of 3 I don think I can have the chance to play it often. But then I rmb managed by William. Any of the arm moves are hybrid? So I can search for 2 with managed by William?

Great idea! If that's the case mayb I will drop the chain idea and go heel for Taunt the fans. But that would mean I will have to drop the old sch school psycho...

« on: May 07, 2015, 03:33:48 AM »
Hi guys it's me again. I'm back with a new superstar this time and it's BFM!

Well I haven't exactly churned out a deck list for it, but I need suggestions. I am going towards the route of Man of 1k hold with arm as the focal point. From there, it would be like a psuedo Brahma bull.  What I am stuck with is:
1) wat is the best 'arm'  card to play to utilise my ability?
2) how am I supposed to get that card in my hand?
3) how do I protect my ring psycho arm,  1k hold, and the arm card from getting removed from my ring area?

Would appreciate if you could throw me some suggestions! Thanks!

Update: here is how is the rough layout of the deck. Thinking of going towards the chain route cause of Wraparound WRISTlock . Lots of empty slots inside especially maneuvers. But here goes:

BFM face/raw/FF??

Pre match (9)
I want to play the game (to pluck out Prematch disruption cards)
Man of a thousand holds x 2 (in case 1 gets plucked)
Ring psychology arm x 2 (in case 1 gets plucked)
Product endorsement
Old school psychology x 3
Venue: <need help here >

Mid Match (9)
Restricted use
Introduce your brain to your mouth
Panic grab
Chain finisher
Atomic Bear Hug x 2
Ready to fight
<need help here>

Maneuvers (19)
Wraparound wrist lock x 3
Arm breaker tb x 2
Ankle lock tb x 3

Boot to the face
Kane's flying clothesline
Kane's chokeslam
Big freaking powerslam
Hell fire chokeslam

Puppies tb x 3
Iron will tb x 2
Face the music x 3
Hellfire and brimstone
Unmasked vengeance
Chains of destruction
In the presence of kanenites
My path is choosen
The first still burns
Kane's rage

Revo of the Mind x 3
Elbow to the face x 3
Sloppy very sloppy x 3
Once is enough
Volley this x 2
No chance in help
It's great to be back here in...
Hold the phone x 2
Sidewalk slam tb x 2
Kane returns
Masked vengeance
Big freaking uppercut
Help is on the way
Unexpected turn of events x 2
Quick reflexes x 2

This is all for now. Please help! Thanks in advance and till then,

Have a nice day!

Looks better than before. But I feel that elbow should take precedence to Clumsy. Also, you are alil weak on the action Reversal dpt. Maybe you can throw in a volley this or 2. And don try this at home. Your only ace Reversal is Unscrupulous I think.

And since it is a foreign object deck, you might wanna include the mid Match Hardcore style tb. Your foreign objects get a bonus 2d from them.

Haha I had the exact same sentiments! I'm pretty sure any of my decks in the past could beat any of mine in the present. Those were the days...

Anyway for your rock, u can probably pack pump kick and search that from Pago, and managed by Lita for back fist. First turn pump kick, plunge using shades for second move. End ur turn, wait for opportunity to reverse wat ever opponent throws at u.

I recently played with a fren running a peeps Champ punch deck. Ability stops ppl from reversing from Backlash,  remove ppl elbow pad to prevent them from reversing from hand, and brass Nuks to prevent reversing from Arsenal. Best part is, opponent cannot reverse my side walk slam cause it technically isn't 'cannot be reversed'. Since u running a Cheater deck, u can pack in the mid match8f8d punch that will take someone head off, as well as 17f18d strike strike punch after punch

Hi, here's my 2cents on your deck list. Overall I feel that the Reversal dpt could be beefed up. Throw in your elbows, and go for niche Reversals like Sidewalk slam and it's great to be back here in..  In my area, multi runs rampant so maybe you can consider packing get the F Out. All those cards I mention can probably take over the Sharpshooter and maintain hold as they don't really go well with the foreign object theme.

But considering the fact that this came out after 10years of hibernation I think it's good! Well at least you remember the name of the cards:) good luck and welcome back:)

Deck Reviews - Classic / Need help with APA!
« on: May 02, 2015, 09:13:19 PM »
Hi guys, I'm currently running a BASH APA. However, I encountered a few roadblocks ahead. I will just type out my deck contents and feel free to comment! Btw, I just got back into the game, meaning cards like rtv, intro brain to mouth, restricted use, the finisher and other tks are not I'm my ownership. Anyways, here goes:

APA BASH/Cheater/Neutral

Prematch (10)
Rochester, NY*
According to Linda*
Handicap match*
Its time for a great American BASH* x 2 (sadly I only have 2)
Dont BASH the star* x 2
Old switcheroo
You rang?
It's showtime

Mid Match (10)
A great deal of confusion x 2
Trevor Murdoch is gonna BASH your brains in x 2 (only have 2)
Go for the cover (tb) x 2
A punch that will knock someone's head off x 2
Hardcore style (tb)
Sustained damage

Arsenal (60)

Maneuvers (25)
BASH headlock x 3
BASH suplex x 3
BASH punch x 3
BASH vice (only own 1)
BASH slam x 2 (only own 2)
BASH Pin Lock x 3
BASH drop over top ropes
BASH aerial Clothesline x 2
Boston Crab (tb) x 3
Spinning toe hold (only have 1)
Shoot lock up x 3

Reversals (35)
Escape Move x 2
Nerve hold
Step aside x 2
Powerslam (tb)
Clothesline from hell
BASH evader x 2
Indian Deathlock
Overshot your mark x 2
Death Valley driver
All talk, no action x 3
No chance in hell (tb)
Elbow to the face x 3
Hold the phone x 2
Oversell maneuver x 2
... I change the questions
The coach says, today's the day! (only have 1)
Get the F Out
Sidewalk slam (tb) x 2
Me llamo...  x 2 (only have 2)
The return BASH of Scott x 2 (only 2)

Idea is to get out Pre match with *. If venue is not out, skio the according to run the next 5. First turn to play great Hardcore style to weed out rtv. Next turn to play confusion to weed out other Reversals for my maneuvers. Followed by Trevor, and a move of any. If opponent leaves any Reversal other than graceful, continue assault with quick cover or Spinning toe hold or Boston Crab tb.

Do let me know if there are any improvements I can make :)

Till than, have a nice day!

Just an update on my win lost streak. It's now 2-11.
Both wins are credited to APA deck running its all about the game and BASH separately.

Decided on dismantling my Shane as I can't seem to find a good build for it even though I remod it trice.

Also investing more time in a Goldust because he is underrated! And I have his full set. I need advice on staple cards that could go well with him. I'm currently running shakes and panics, followed by chains to follow up. Pre match is mostly Backlash destructive like Raleigh, call you out and old school wrestling match. Will often drop Managed my William and either let's get it on,  mangled intro or old switcheroo depending on opponent cards.

Still, I'm looking forward to some advice on improving the build. Haven't won with it yet but I feel it's going in the right direction:)

Well I guess that's why there is a shock value:) but it's not nice to keep getting trashed after seeing their shocked and puzzled face for 5seconds too.  Anyway I thought of starting a mini blog about my matches with my friends. Do you think it would be readable or isit like a waste of time?

Cool! Well I'm the opposite. I have a near complete revo set inclusive all foils less austin 3:16 says which I can't seem to find anywhere.

I'm interested at how the 3mw Premiere Smackdown superstar works! Possible if you can share a bit more?

General Discussion: Raw Deal / Re: Getting back in the game!

Well I ever thought of a strike based Batista revolving around spinning clothesline, discus punch and running lariats. But prematch would involve alot of discarding (which they would discard useless reversals like strike and submission).

Not very effective, but for the shock value on the opponent's face, I think its worth it:)

I like the A-Train idea! Especially when these ideas make use of cards that do not have re prints but are still really powerful. Thanks for the idea! Will definitely look into it.

On the other hand, these are some of my ideas when I was in the game last time, and currently when I start picking up again.

Red Wall Tazz - Making use of German TB and red wall
Cheater Punch Heidenriech - Brass Nuks, Punch after Punch
Unorthodox Style Wrestling RVD - Clutch, ability, high risk - (Kudos to Stucket for the idea!)
Smackdown Roll-up Eddie - Premiere Smackdown, Roll-up (non unique high risk)
IAATG Mankind/Cactus Jack - Play all things minus starting hand
4 corners IAATG APA - Pack Beginning, immune to pain tb and hardcore style tb so all cards can be retrieved from IAATG

Feel free to add on to the list and maybe we can all try one of them out these few days!

Till then, have a nice day!

Hi guys! Great to see that the community is still so active even after so many years. Maybe I start of by introducing myself. I'm Keith, as reflected in my username, and I'm from Singapore! Just got back in the game and running two decks currently a bash APA and a Smackdown Shane. Focusing on classic as of now.

I don't look for winning decks but instead for the shock value or Unorthodox tactics instead! If you have any weird ideas feel free to throw at me I don mind testing them out:) hope to be able to relieve my favorite past time! Thanks guys for reading btw! Have a great day ahead!:)
