Loving the new HHH face card! Good choice to go with the tights as compared to his authority attire. Really appreciate all these work you put in to make it all happen :)

Mr. Hall of Fame
Backstage Card
Can only be packed by Shawn Michaels.
Do not discard for The Legend Lives On, when that card is in your Ring, it is blank.
At the end of the Pre-match phase when you do not have a Corner or Storyline in your Ring, choose one:  your Ability is blank, and you may put Drawing a Blank from your Backlash into your Ring; OR when you reverse a Superstar-specific card from hand, you may discard 1 card and then search your Arsenal for 1 non-reversal Superstar-specific card, reveal it, put it in your hand, and shuffle.
Unique     RMS logo

Frankie Takes Ho-llywood
Pre-match Event
When this card is in your Ring area, your Reversal cards have the Restricted Modification Symbol and you may put this card into your Ringside pile to reverse any Activated Card Effect from a non-unique card and end your opponent's turn.
   (Activated Card Effect Symbol)
F: 0      D: 0

ok if i have Frankie in play, along with Mr. Hall of Fame, what becomes of my Legend Lives On ?
1) Do i still discard for Legend Lives On
2) Is it blank?

The Legend Lives On
Reversal: Special
Reverse any Chain, Heat, Throwback, Volley, or Restricted Modification Symbol card and end your opponent's turn. Discard your hand.
When this card is in your Ring area, during your turn your Maneuver cards in your Ringside pile and played from your Ringside pile are Heat cards, and your Maneuver cards played from your hand are Chain cards.
F: 0     D: 2     Unique     Errata

Thank you in advance :)

1) No.  The wording is such that it's a substitution similar to the E&C / Airplane Spin ruling.
2) I'd say yes.  Frankie Takes Ho-llywood doesn't say where the reversals have RMS, just says that they do.  So Mr. Hall Of Fame can't blank Legend Lives On, because it has RMS.

Hi, i hope this isn't seen as being rude. but since Mr. Hall of Fame is played even before frankie is in the ring, should legend lives on already be blank text? And that frankie will apply the rms on a blanked legend lives on? That was my take for the question and I might well be wrong:)

Since they took out kane on raw the following night, they should probably be working towards a 4 on 4 survivor series between wyatts and BOD + 2 others. That's my take on the current situation.

Hi, can I clarify something about product as well?

Is the -  ssv effect constantly updating itself or does it resolve on the spot. For example im 5 and my opponent's a 7. Assuming we don't belt or play anything to increase other ssv. I play product. So my opponent's ssv is now 1. If I play another face would my opponent ssv be 0? Or does the additional face pre not add to the product effect cause it's already resolved. Thanks!

Virtual Raw Deal / Re: NXT Set?

Makes sense too! Also, can I ask if there would be any revo prize cards for the series or an all revo prize set in the coming series? It's weird when we host a revo tourney but only 4 of 8 prize cards are revo cards.

That's awesome news! Really going to be looking forward to the upcoming revo set.

Can I ask if there would be more support for the current superstars in revo? I'm especially referring to our 11 extremists who currently only have 6 cards in their set. Would love to see more support for other superstars as well as it would definitely change up the dynamics of some decks!

Wow a day seemed really short to get much done. Kudos for the effort as usual!

Anyway, can I confirm that the list is finalised? Cause I vaguely remembered to have 2 of the 'defense' cards in the Khali starter instead of only 1 as reflected in the list. But then again I could be wrong cause that was.... 7 years ago? haha.

Thanks CreedP for the list! We are trying to get revo going in our area so these lists helps us a lot on deciding which decks are more suitable for new players. Thanks a lot! :)

If I'm not mistaken, you should ignore the entire requirement for follow up for non-Unique hybrid antics and snatch&lift is a non-Unique hybrid antic.

The tactic is exactly the same as the one I posted before, but I changed up the maneuvers to match the targets that I have more quantities of. Previously I didn't have 3 rib breakers so I had to go with Bionic Elbows. The deck was able to give momentum to more choices, especially with the inclusion of snap suplex and lariat. Lariat allows me to pull 2 cards: 1 core and 1 non-unique throw from arsenal. Presuming I play Rib breaker before lariat, I would already have 13F which gives me access to another rib breaker, which allows me to repeat the process again.

That's all for this deck. Gonna go back into the binder in order for a newer breed to take over, if you get what I'm trying to say. Not being a prick, but more of a.... thorn..

No problem. We are all learning. Just that I happen to clock a few rounds before you started. Glad I could help:)

Yup. It was bad decision for reversing your double leg lock crab so many times! Could have reversed on overturn instead. Basically I'm decking out 6 cards from my deck per turn, 4 for no mercy and the draw 2 effect. Might not have won even if I did let it pass, but I would have lasted longer than I did if it was successful on the first try.

Should have packed slow the match down instead to at least last a turn longer with batista. But it's all bygones now. Looking forward to the new stipulation that Joshua has brought up:)

First of all, I would like to thank joshua for holding this tournament. Appreciate the suggestion to get this tourney going. Without further adieu, here's my personal report!

I went in as Rey, which frankly everyone has played with. I ran a very similar deck to the one I post up for review, but I dropped the Bionic elbows for rib breakers, thus changing my move sets. Deck list will be included another time.

Match 1: vs Matt Striker
Played against Roy's Matt striker previously so this is more of a mirror match from last time. Got a good hand with too much damage in my starting hand. Chained it with rib breaker, which gave momentum to a lariat. Sounded good but from there it went south for me. We were soon down to our last few cards, but he kept re-using double leg lock crab which drained my arsenal and deck. Soon, I couldn't reverse the card and I was pinned.
Status: 0-1

Match 2: vs Batista
This was a quick game. This was his first time playing with this deck so we all didn't know what to expect of it. I didn't remember much, cause there wasn't much to remember of either. It was a very bad starting hand with no reversals. Didn't pack a new plan so I hope I could get alil lucky since I drawn too much damage again and had a hand full of playable cores. However, he started first and I had no reversals for his cores, which became a Colossal, which ended me on his second turn. 2tk. Impressive for a deck that was never play tested.
Status: 0-2

Match 3: vs Undertaker
This was joshua's first revo deck, and first revo game. Kudos to him for that. He ran a ric flair corner and drafted into degenerates. Sadly he got hit by my barrage of cores at the start. He did manage to pull a few reversals due to his ability of sharing fort. But largely due to inexperience, he fell victim to the aggression rule which saw him eat 2 turns of it. Ended the game with a momentum-ed colossal. Very good try at a revo deck considering he had 0 experience.
Just a funny note, it's weird to see rey mysterio press slam the Undertaker.
Status: 1-2

4th match: vs brock lesnar
I wasn't sure if this was Ian's first try at revo, but his pre match was thought thru pretty well. Synced his 2 ring psychologies with his ability for maximum effectiveness. Can't really remember the details of the match, but I learned from my mistakes by letting the double leg lock crabs go through after the first attempt. Knowing that he couldn't reverse holds, I threw all my holds at him and not too long later I out-hold him, thus ending my tournament with an average record of 2-2.
Final status: 2-2

Once the dust has settled and everything seem clear, I was tied in score to joshua's undertaker. But because we had the match earlier and it ended up with me winning, we just took it as I would have won the tie breaker match if it went on.

By the way, congrats to my good friend wen huan for winning the tournament and the sponsored triple H starter :) very good run for an untested deck.

Overall, it was a good turn out for a revo tournament, considering that there isn't any from what I remember in the past year of coming back to the game. Hope to expand our play group and introduce more people to this format! Thanks guys for the good times. We all learnt something along the way and maybe the tournament we will all have better decks!

Good game! :)

Rules Forum / <R> Batista Enquiry
« on: September 29, 2015, 07:02:37 PM »
Hi, a group of my friends are currently into revo. I vaguely remembered that there was an errata for batista's ability that would change it to something like Sabu's where a card has to be placed at the bottom of arsenal in order to put 1 random card from opponent's hand at the bottom as well. Attached the ability of both superstars for reference.

Batista (Superstar Card) (STARTER DECK - Revolution 1)
Starting Hand Size: 9
Superstar Value: 5
Superstar Ability:
Successfully play a Throw: your opponent puts 1 random card from his hand on the bottom of his Arsenal.

Sabu (Superstar Card) (PR)
Starting Hand Size: 9
Superstar Value: 3
Extremist <Superstar Crossed Out> Ability:
You may put 1 card from your hand on the bottom of your Arsenal after you successfully play an Assault: your opponent discards 1 random card.

Any clarification would be appreciated.

Thanks! :)

Thanks for the list! I think I'll streamline abit of the cores instead to let out slots for more means. I'll still stick with underestimate though cause currently my friends are running overexposure and second solution. No really nice to eat those constantly:) will update the list in time to come.

Since you brought up Sheamus, would like to ask what card in revo actually synergizes with his ability. Looked through the revo data base and I'm still lost on how to maximise the use of his ability. Some enlightenment would be appreciated! :)
