Noted! Cause I realised that the errata for back body drop was still there so I assumed that any errata that was removed would also be stated. Thanks for the clarification :)

Rules Forum / <R> Batista Enquiry
« on: September 29, 2015, 07:02:37 PM »
Hi, a group of my friends are currently into revo. I vaguely remembered that there was an errata for batista's ability that would change it to something like Sabu's where a card has to be placed at the bottom of arsenal in order to put 1 random card from opponent's hand at the bottom as well. Attached the ability of both superstars for reference.

Batista (Superstar Card) (STARTER DECK - Revolution 1)
Starting Hand Size: 9
Superstar Value: 5
Superstar Ability:
Successfully play a Throw: your opponent puts 1 random card from his hand on the bottom of his Arsenal.

Sabu (Superstar Card) (PR)
Starting Hand Size: 9
Superstar Value: 3
Extremist <Superstar Crossed Out> Ability:
You may put 1 card from your hand on the bottom of your Arsenal after you successfully play an Assault: your opponent discards 1 random card.

Any clarification would be appreciated.

Thanks! :)

Thanks for the list! I think I'll streamline abit of the cores instead to let out slots for more means. I'll still stick with underestimate though cause currently my friends are running overexposure and second solution. No really nice to eat those constantly:) will update the list in time to come.

Since you brought up Sheamus, would like to ask what card in revo actually synergizes with his ability. Looked through the revo data base and I'm still lost on how to maximise the use of his ability. Some enlightenment would be appreciated! :)

Are you referring to knife edge chop Boston Crab and Falla way suplex? It's a Gd idea though. Readily available for me. But what should I drop in my Mid Match if I ran 1 Mid Match maneuver instead. And I was wondering if I should replace anything I want with slow the match to a crawl.

Noted with thanks. Edit made to the deck list:)  I'm still trying to synergize the cards, especially the 8f7ds. Thats why I had double leg lock Crab to connect with bionic elbows for the momentum part and abdominal stretch for the arm breaker.

Not sure if there are too many Reversals as well. Can there be any streamlining or pimping up on any areas?

Hi Guys, not the first Revo deck I made but here's the first one I'm posting here! Open to all suggestions. But the main direction for the deck is to run the 8F cores to make the next maneuver of a certain target momentum.

<R> Rey Mysterio

Backlash (12)

Pre-match (6)
<R>From Cruiserweight To Heavyweight Champ*
<R>Too Extreme For Your Own Good*
<R>Underestimate The Competition*
<R>Dressed For Success*
<R>Gone-Not Forgotten
<R>See Krystal Clear

Mid-match (6)
<R>Do It For My People
<R>I Can Do Anything I Want
<R>Before This Gets Out Of Hand
<R>Keep Your Eyes Open Or It's Game Over
<R>Spinning Kick
<R>Talk Is Cheap

Arsenal (60)

Maneuver (27)
<R>Drop Kick x 3
<R>Bulldog x 3
<R>Abdominal Stretch x 3
<R>Arm Breaker x 3
<R>Bionic Elbow x 3
<R>Knee Lift x 2
<R>Double Leg Lock Crab x 2
<R>Torture Rack
<R>Figure Four Leg Lock x 2
<R>Press Slam
<R>The Original 619
<R>The 1904
<R>Droppin' Da Dime
<R>Mysterio's West Coast Pop

Antic (2)
<R>Too Much Damage For One To Manage
<R>Mysterio's Resillience

Reversals (31)
<R>The Second Solution x 3
<R>Only One Solution: Revolution x 3
<R>Centered Defense x 3
<R>Lateral Flank Defense x 3
<R>Head-to-Toe Defense x 3
<R>Why Don't You Kiss My Ass?
<R>Welcome To My World
<R>Outmaneuver x 3
<R>That's Extremely Un-Original
<R>Two For The Show...
<R>My Way
<R>Off Your Mark
<R>Try To Get Away x 2
<R>I Won't Be Beat Tonight x 2
<R>Rey-Rey's Wheelbarrow Bulldog
<R>Think Nothing Of It... But Love It

For Pre-match, drop the 4 marked out cards in order. Overturn 8 for underestimate, but don't overturn for Dressed. Pick one of the cards that isn't core since the storyline covers that unless your starting hand has 1 or no cores. With 15 cores in the deck, its highly unlikely of that though. The underestimate is there to block the damage from the hybrid reversals.

The main concept of playing is about whacking the 6F7D cores until they stick, and depending on what is in the hand, try playing bionic elbow or arm breaker for momentum.

Revolution Droppin’ Da Dime
Trademark: Mean
All players discard 10 cards.
F: 10     D: 10     Unique     back

Revolution Mysterio's Resilience
Discard any number of cards: shuffle up to double that number of cards from your Ringside into your Arsenal.
F: 16     D: 0     Unique

A common problem about droppin' the dime is its effect, so I would only use it when I am certain I am winning. But a better solution to that would be playing Mysterio's Resilience first, allowing me to shuffle x times 2 number of cards equals to the number of cards discarded. By dropping everything except dime, I can get to recover and Dime won't hurt me as much.

The major weakness of the deck is its dependence on the storyline. If by somehow (death defying maniac), the storyline is removed, I have only 1 method of gaining F, and that is to run second solution and connect with rey rey wheelbarrow.

That's about all for the deck. Please feel free to comment on anything! Thanks !:)

Deck Reviews - Revolution / Re: <R> Matt Striker Help
« on: September 24, 2015, 12:18:53 AM »
Personally I prefer RP: leg cause there's enough leg maneuvers to go around and you can chain alot of cards late game when your rs is built up. Sure, you can't fuel ur hand as much for ability, but with leg I think it's more aggro.

I suppose you can go both ways, with leg as the backbone of the deck. Look out in  starting hand for the ss antic that allows u to pluck Reversals as well. If it's in, then go for climbing to fuel hand. If you don't have the antic, then drop RP:leg instead. Hope this helps:)

« on: September 22, 2015, 11:33:04 AM »
Noted with thanks. But with this ruling, doesn't that make the card less effective? I gave R1 a count and out of all the cards, only slightly more than 10 contains 2 words. If so, why is it a staple for a revo deck? Is there something I'm missing out on? I'm just referring to the deck lists that were submitted in the forum. Looking forward to being enlightened:)

OP Edit: R2 has around 6 to 8 and R3 has around 13 to 15.

General Discussion: Raw Deal / Enquiry on <R> Two for the show
« on: September 22, 2015, 11:18:16 AM »
Hi guys, got a question about the below mentioned card.

Two for the Show…
Reversal: Card with Exactly 2 Words in the Title
During your opponent's turn, if this card is overturned: you may put
this card into your Ring. If the card or effect is not reversed,
resume overturning and then end his turn.
F:2 D:1

When it says 2 words, does the <R> in the title of any card matter? Eg. <R> Running Clothesline.
Or can it only reverse cards like eg. <R> punch.

Your Town,  USA
Old School Manager
Premiere Raw Superstar
Raw IC Belt
The Champ Is Here
Interest of Fairness x2
Rules Were Meant to be Broken

In that order

You can't play both Old School Manager and the Raw IC Belt under Your Town, but other than that, it looks good.

Hi. Sry to to interrupt but may I ask why you mentioned that old sch manager and intercontinental title can't be played under your town?

I toyed around a heat version. Priority was to get cerebral assassin and it's getting hot in here in play. With sustained damage, it's almost certain that their abilities will be blanked. Plus with all about control, ur hand is always at the minimum but with heat Reversals u can Still have a Gd backing. Will post the deck list if I have time:)

Whao. Something golden from the much frowned upon Divas Overload. I would have taken up the suggestion but sadly, it was just a one time thing where i borrowed the set from my friend. However, that card would be in my list when I am short of cards for divas without maneuver restrictions:) Thanks!

Nice Dupree deck you got there btw. Personally I feel that Dupree has got a whole bunch of things thrown at him. If anyone could play it out well, it is a very good superstar. His support cards are decent as well:)

Yup. Thousand ways to counter the deck. But I suppose the deck can run without it as well, just not as smooth. Any volley is actually easy to reverse using the volley effect. Chose it for the Stun only. Haha

Yup:) the idea is very dependent on 1 card and that ain't really gd. But still, it's my style to play weird decks like this. Surprise factor is there. Stay tune for another weird deck next time!

Hi there! Its me again, but this time with a deck that has been trialed and tested:) Haven't seen a classic GK MH deck on TCO so I thought I could contribute alil on my part:)

This deck was initially running on major announcement but it went towards a more.... unorthodox way. We had a small fatal 4 last man standing game a few days back with customized rules and this deck was the last woMAN standing:) Without further adieu...

Gail Kim (mostly) and Molly Holly Smackdown/Face/FF

Prematch (10)
Managed by Lita
Unorthodox Style of Wrestling
Underrated Superstar (tb)
Asset Retrieval
Control Your World
Trash Talkin' Interview (tb)
Bra & Panties Match
For the Love of The Game x 3 (IAATG Meta)

Midmatch (10)
Break It Out, Break You Down, Breakin' Rules, Breakin' Ground
Skirt the Issue
Introduce Your Brain to Your Mouth...
Panic Grab
It Doesn't Stop
You're as Graceful as a Cow on Ice
Ready to Fight

Maneuvers (25)
Girly Grab
Clutch onto Opponent x 3
Girly Punch x 2
Modified Clutch Onto Opponent x 3
Claw x 2
Girly Slap x 2 (Would change this to 2 girly grabs if i had it)
Double Axe Handle (tb) x 3
Spinning Leg Drop x 3
Flying Clothesline (tb) x 3
Missile Dropkick (tb) x 3

A Revolution of the Mind x 3
Elbow to the Face x 3
Once is Enough x 2
Sloppy ... Very Sloppy x 3
Always Have a Plan B x 3
Volley This! x 2
No Chance in Hell! (tb)
Hold the Phone!
Don't Try This at Home
It's Great To Be Back Here In...
I Gotta Say, Out of Play
Sidewalk Slam (tb)
Lift a Boot (tb) x 2
Overshot Your Mark

Actions (10)
From the Middle Turnbuckle x 4
I've Got a Nice ... Bottom x 3
Everyone Wants to Watch Women, Period x 2
Technical Bear Hug

The whole deck revolves around the use of Unorthodox style of wrestling. Prematch wise, I would drop Lita, control, asset retrieval, underrated and most importantly, unorthodox style of wrestling.

The deck is simple as it ran diva moves to connect with the high risks. The initial plan of using major announcement failed miserably after i went out of hand due to discarding and the lack of drawing of stuns (cause it was almost nonexistent). Making use of control your world and my ability to have -3f for high risks, i could easily connect either double axe handle or spinning even if i play clutch cause its +2d courtesy of control your world. Draw off Managed by Lita and stun value for maximum handsize.

Even with an initial crap hand, I get to use Lita to get my double axe handle tb and asset retrieval for modified clutch. Take a peek at opponent's hand to know what to expect, completing the turn with a double axe handle that can't be reversed from hand. Draw off Lita and hopefully stun and whao, 10f right away. The middle turnbuckles are there for the purpose of picking up high risks that were somehow unsuccessful, either from the volley effect or from superstars with backlash deck 0f reversals aka for real, you think you know me etc..

Although the deck lacks trademarks, the 'cannot reverse from hand' really seals the victory.. unorthodox style :)
I have a similar concept but with another superstar. If anyone is interested I could post it up as well. Otherwise, thanks and have a nice day!

Noted with thanks @debuRaito!

What about question 2? Can the overturning effect be cancelled by lets wrestle already even though the card cant be reversed?

Thanks for the prompt reply! What about my second question? Hasn't happened to me yet but just curious to find out.

Welcome (back) to Raw Deal / Need help for several questions!
« on: July 12, 2015, 08:27:44 AM »
Hi guys, got a few questions that my friends and I have stumbled on. Bolded question is included in post edit.

1) Premiere wwf/e superstar
Can the effect be reversed by lets wrestle already? Based on OmniFAQ, it says no, because of the wording as it is more of a 'discard x cards into ringside pile' rather than overturn. However, wouldn't this be very overpowered for a superstar with high value eg. evolution who packs as many titles as possible or immortal with his pre match. Also, how do we stop this effect assuming the card isnt blanked.

2) Dirty taker.
Assuming above mentioned is played by undertaker, would lets wrestle already reverse and end taker's turn? Dirty taker cant be reversed, but can its overturning effect be reversed?

3) Spike dudley/Big Show
Assuming eg. Triple H switches ability by white wedding with spike dudley, would HHH be able to play grapple and submission? Similarly, if Big show's opponent white wedding big show, can he play high risk?

Thanks in advance for answering the above queries!

First off, thanks for doing so much for this community. Really really appreciate very very much.

Just my 2 cents, cause SS3 cards makes up a majority of all the cards. I myself am waiting for the SS3 cards to be up before I make any purchases. I believe that ppl who have got to know you on eBay will know that you have a shop that's open.

For starters, maybe you can try to include your website on your eBay page, or at least create some buzz there so that people who are used to visit you on eBay will know that you have a shop dedicated for raw deal.

Also, I'm sure business will pick up in the future when all your items are up. Good luck and thanks!
