Hi guys! The Fast Lane Tournament has just ended last Saturday (27th Feb 2016) and it is time we review on the report!

Virtual Revolution Tournament has 7 participants:

Keith - <R> Tommy Dreamer
Balls - <R> Ric Flair
Vincent - <R> Randy Orton
Tiansheng - <R> Rated-RKO
Wen Huan - <R> Sabu
Eugene - <R> Mark Henry
Daniel - <R> Rey Mysterio

Due to my laziness in calculating opponent's strength, I had everyone played everyone in another Round Robin format to get the ball rolling

First Place: Keith (<R> Tommy Dreamer)
Games Played: 6
Victories: 6 (Vincent, Balls, Daniel, Wen Huan, Eugene, Tiansheng)
Defeats: 0

Second Place: Balls (<R> Ric Flair)
Games Played: 6
Victories: 4 (Vincent, Daniel, Wen Huan, Eugene)
Defeats: 2 ( Keith, Tiansheng)

Third Place: Vincent (<R> Randy Orton)
Games Played: 6
Victories: 4 (Daniel, Wen Huan, Eugene, Tiansheng)
Defeats: 2 (Keith, Balls)

Forth Place: Tiansheng (<R> Rated-RKO)

Games Played: 6
Victories: 3 (Balls, Wen Huan, Daniel)
Defeats: 3 (Keith, Eugene, Vincent)

Fifth Place: Wen Huan (<R> Sabu)
Games Played: 6
Victories: 2 (Eugene, Daniel)
Defeats: 4 (Keith, Balls, Tiansheng, Vincent)

Sixth Place: Eugene (<R> Mark Henry)
Games Played: 6
Victories: 2 (Tiansheng, Daniel)

Seventh Place: Daniel (<R> Rey Mysterio)
Games Played: 6
Victories: 0
Defeats: 6 (Keith, Balls, Vincent, Tiansheng, Wen Huan, Eugene)

Conclusion:
In contrast to the Virtual Classic Tournament, 7 entrants is considered one of the highest turnout for a Virtual Revolution Tourney. Even though it still might not be much people, I appreciate everyone who took effort to bring their deck and travel down to SMU to play. Great games guys! Looking forward to more games with you all!

Hi guys! The Fast Lane Tournament has just ended last Saturday (27th Feb 2016) and it is time we review on the report!

Virtual Classic Tournament has 5 participants:

Norman - The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase
Junwei - NWO Hollywood
Daryl - The Brain Busters
Daniel - Daniel Bryan
Vincent - Latino Cheat

As there are only 5 players, I have decided to run a Round Robin but sadly, due to time constraint, Daniel and I have dropped out from the tourney to play in the Revolution Tourney. So here goes:

First Place: Norman (The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase)
Games Played: 4
Victories: 4 (Junwei, Daniel, Vincent, Daryl)
Defeats: 0

Second Place: Junwei (NWO Hollywood)

Games Played: 2
Victories: 1 (Daryl)
Defeats: 1 (Norman)

Third Place: Vincent (Latino Cheat)
Games Played: 2
Victories: 1 (Daryl)
Defeats: 1 (Norman)

Forth Place: Daryl (The Brain Busters)

Games Played: 3
Victories: 0
Defeats: 3 (Vincent, Junwei, Norman)

Fifth Place: Daniel (Daniel Bryan)
Games Played: 1
Victories: 0
Defeats: 1 (Norman)

Conclusion:
Just like the WWE Fast Lane PPV, the turnout for this tournament is as disappointing as the PPV itself. Nonetheless, I appreciate the people who came down and played in spite of the all the constraints they have. Thank you peeps and let's look forward to the next PPV (tourney), The Grandest Stage Of Them All: WRESTLEMANIA

The Original Horseman
Backstage Card
Your Starting Hand Size, Superstar Value, and Pre-match Capacity are +1 for each WCW and non-faction The Nature Boy-specific Pre-match card in your Ring.
Once during each of your turns, you may either overturn 2 cards, and you are considered to be Ric Flair for the rest of the turn; or you may overturn 4 cards, and you are considered to be The Four Horsemen for the rest of the turn.

Will a WCW nature boy specific card count as a +1 or +2 for the above card? Thanks for any assistance.

Rules Forum / New Holiday Sets Cards Qns
« on: January 03, 2016, 08:04:38 AM »
Hi all. First of all, I would like to thank everyone who assisted in the creation of the divas revolution holiday set. Now that it has been out for a while, I have some queries on them.

Beautiful Fierce Females     (+Summer Rae & Sasha Banks logos)
Action + Action
When your opponent is a Diva, this card requires 3 reversals instead of 2 to reverse.
Put up to 3 cards from your Ringside into your hand, shuffle up to 3 cards from your Ringside into your Arsenal, and he overturns 3 cards; when you are Charlotte, add 1 to each of those numbers.
F: 3     D: 0     Unique     Multi     NXT logo

When this card is played by Charlotte, would it require 4 reversals to reverse as well? Since the last line mentioned that all numbers are +1.

Becky's Steampunk Goggles
Backstage Card
Your cards with 'precision' in the title are considered to have 'dynamic' in the title and are Volley for your effects.
Once during each of your turns, you may put 1 card with 'precision' in the title from your hand on the bottom of your Arsenal and your opponent reveals 2 random cards from his hand; choose 1 of the revealed cards, and he must either put that card on the bottom of his Arsenal or remove the other revealed card from the game.
Unique     RMS logo     NXT logo

Will the precision cards of Becky Lynch induce a volley lock if her opponent reverse them? Since the text state that they are only considered volley for her effects.

Lass Kicker
Action / Reversal: Special
As an action, search your Arsenal for up to 3 non-Unique maneuvers, reveal them, put them in your hand, and shuffle.
As a reversal, this card is -5F, reverse any card with 'diva', 'chick', or 'female' in the title or text.
F: 5     D: 2     Unique     NXT logo

At first look, Lass Kicker seems to be use as a counter for all those pesky female and diva cards (it fits thematically as well). However, it did not include the text that ignores reversal restrictions (unlike douchebag, it's great etc). So this card can only work as a reversal against those cards that do not have a reversal restriction?

Bella Buster
Trademark Finisher / Reversal: Special
Can only be played by Brie Bella. When you are a Throwback Superstar, this card is Multi when played after a card with 'diva' in the title or text.
As a reversal, reverse any High Risk or any maneuver with 'can only be reversed' in the text.
Draw up to 2 cards, and your opponent puts 2 random cards from his hand on the bottom of his Arsenal.
F: 15     D: 15     SV: 2     Unique

Similar to the question above regarding Lass Kicker as well. Since it doesn't include the text that allows it to ignore reversal restriction, does it mean that it can only be used as a reversal when it's applicable? (e.g. Overturning from Precision Sleeper, playing from hand against Wheelbarrow Slam etc)

Thanks in advance for any answers given to my queries!

Virtual Raw Deal / <R> Angle Lock Qns
« on: December 09, 2015, 07:49:56 AM »
Revolution Angle Lock
Mid-match Trademark: Colossal
You are a Revolution Superstar: -20F
When this card is reversed from Arsenal: draw up to 2 cards.
When this card is in your Ring or Ringside, you may skip your Draw Segment: put this card into your Backlash.  When moved from your Ring and you have no non-Revolution cards in your Ring, end your turn.

The bolded part is not included in the printable version pdf. May I know which is the more updated version? Thanks.

Rules Forum / Carlito Says Question
« on: November 25, 2015, 07:10:57 PM »
Carlito Says "That’s Not Cool!"
Reversal: Special
This card ignores any reversal restrictions from the reversed card.
Reverse any non-unique maneuver with a printed reversal restriction, draw 2 cards, and your opponent discards 2 random cards.
When overturned, this card is -5F and can also reverse any card with Momentum or any non-damage card effect.
F: 5     D: 0     Unique

Can this card be use on Apply Illegal Leverage since Apply only copies the text and "printed" always looked for whatever that is inked on it?

Thanks for any advices!

Rules Forum / A few Questions
« on: November 01, 2015, 09:09:20 AM »
Hi everyone! I have a few qns regarding these cards.

Sierra Hotel India Echo Lima Delta
Pre-match Event
Can be played during any Pre-match phase.  Cannot be blanked.  Your cards with 'break you', 'interest', or 'switcheroo' in the title are blank.
Your opponent cannot move your non-Stipulation Pre-match cards from your Ring, prevent them from being played, or blank them (except with cards with 'shenanigans' in the title).  Until the first turn of the game, ignore his Pre-match card effects that would move cards from your hand.
When you play non-Cheater maneuvers with 'blindside' in the title as a Counter, you may ignore the 'When played from Ringside...' text.

May I know if the bold part applies to the entire sentence (play restrictions, moving, blanking etc) or just the blanking part?

And the second qns:

3MB
Starting Hand Size: 3     Superstar Value: 1
Stable Ability: Once during each of your turns you may put up to 3 cards from hand under We're a 3 Man Band! and put the same number of cards under that card into your hand.
When you overturn cards for damage, you may put any of the first 3 cards overturned under We're a 3 Man Band! instead of your Ringside.
You can pack Heath Slater Arsenal cards and Hornswoggle! (replace the 'Finlay' text with '3MB').

The bolded part implies that I may only put 1 card or does the "any" refers to up to 3 cards?

Thanks for any advices given.

Virtual Raw Deal / Counter Strike Discrepancy
« on: October 10, 2015, 01:26:53 PM »

Counter Strike
Strike / Reversal: Special
As a maneuver, when played as a Counter, cannot be reversed by non-Unique D:2+ cards.
As a reversal, can only be played when you have equal or lower Fortitude, and your opponent successfully plays a maneuver with a reversal restriction.  After damage is resolved, end his turn.
F: 0     D: 2     Unique

The downloadable version for printing does not have the bolded text but the lackey one and the text quoted from the virtual 7 thread has. Please advise which one is the correct one. Thanks.

Rules Forum / Paige's Ability & From NXT to WWE Interaction
« on: October 07, 2015, 04:00:20 AM »
PAIGE
Starting Hand Size: 6     Superstar Value: 1
NXT Diva Superstar Ability: When you overturn cards for The NXT Breakout Star, choose one: put 1 non-Unique non-hybrid maneuver overturned into your hand, or put up to 1 non-reversal card from your Ringside on the bottom of your Arsenal.
When you successfully play a card with 'Can only be packed by a Diva', discard 1 card.
You cannot pack cards with 'girly' in the title, and your Skirt the Issue is Unique.

From NXT to WWE
Pre-match Event
Can only be packed by an NXT Superstar.  Cannot be blanked.
This card and Underrated Superstar do not take up a Pre-match slot in your Ring.
When you draw for your Ability, draw up to 1 additional card, and when you move cards into your Arsenal for your Ability, move up to 1 additional card.
F: 0     D: 0     Unique     Permanent

If I choose to move a card back to arsenal via Paige's ability, would the additional card bonus given by From NXT to WWE grant the recovery of any card? Or would it have to be a non-reversal card as well?

Thanks for any assistance.

Rules Forum / Managed by A.W Question
« on: October 03, 2015, 06:25:46 AM »
Managed by A.W.
Pre-match Manager
Cannot be blanked.
This card cannot be Activated when Drawing a Blank or There is No Escape is in your Ring.
ACE: Once during each of your turns when you play a maneuver without 'reversed' in the text, and your opponent plays a reversal to it, you may discard 1 card and then he puts the reversal in his hand (or Backlash, if applicable), his card is considered not played, but he can attempt to reverse your maneuver with cards with different titles.
ACE:  When you play a Superstar-specific reversal, you may put this card into your Ringside and your reversal is -12F.
F: 0     D: 0     Unique     Permanent
V7

Hi there, I have a few scenarios in mind which I am not sure how it would interact with Managed by A.W ACE

1. When Prime Time Players play a multi maneuver (e.g. Whirlwind Kick), when can the ACE be activated?

a) Upon the first reversal played by opponent, only once chance to ace when the opportunity arises
b) Upon the second reversal played by opponent because it is only considered as reversed when the second reversal is played
c) Either first or second reversal since both fit the conditions given by the ACE

2. When Prime Time Players maneuver is modified (e.g. Title On The Line), his opponent plays Restricted Use In This Area in attempt to remove the modification, can the ACE be activated the remove the effects of Restricted Use In This Area?

3. When Prime Time Players maneuver is successful and his opponent plays a reversal in respond to the successful maneuver (e.g. Sustain Damage), can the ACE be activated to remove those reversals? If the answer is YES, would the opponent be able to change his mind again and play another reversal to reverse the maneuver as per the card text of Managed by A.W?

Thanks for any assistance given.

Virtual Raw Deal / Out Of Nowhere
« on: September 28, 2015, 09:39:05 AM »
Hi there seems to be some differences between the survivor series copy of Out of Nowhere and the original copy.

Original Copy looks for any Trademark Finisher and doesn't have the "Rochester New York is not in your Ring" text

Survivor Series Copy look only for Superstar-Specific Trademark Finisher and have the text regarding Rochester New York.

Virtual Raw Deal / Wake Up Trivia
« on: September 21, 2015, 03:35:12 AM »
After looking through the new V7 cards, I found out that both Ryback and Gail Kim has a specific card titled "wake up". Sure there are capitalisation and punctuation to differ them, but I'm not sure if it makes both cards different. Should Ryback's backstage card be Wake Up TB instead?

Virtual Raw Deal / Lucha! question
« on: September 11, 2015, 04:54:59 PM »
Question: does Lucha's ace help sin cars bypass the "can only/must be played after..." text on the high risk maneuver?

If it is, does that work for similar abilities like New Age Outlaws and Mr Perfect's ability who self blank their maneuvers? Because if I remember correctly, it was previously answered that they need to have their legality of the card played checked first before it is blank.

Rules Forum / The Biggest Question with Yokozuna
« on: September 02, 2015, 09:20:13 AM »
Hi everyone, was hoping someone can help me with this question on Yokozuna.

The Biggest Champion in WWF History
Pre-match Event
ACE: When your opponent successfully plays a maneuver that is not Unique, Superstar-specific, or a Foreign Object, you may remove 2 cards in your Backlash from the game and it is -8D.  ACE: After damage is applied from that maneuver, you may remove 2 cards in your Backlash from the game to end his turn.
F: 0     D: 0     Unique     Permanent     WWF Classic logo

Does the first ACE have to be activated to allow the second ACE to be activated?
E.g. My opponent plays clutch, can I just declare the second ACE after damage is applied for clutch and end his turn?

Thanks for any answers.

Online Play / Some lackey assistance
« on: August 09, 2015, 02:53:39 PM »
Hi guys! I have just installed lackley on my computer. I more or less got the main idea of how it works. However, I still have a few more queries.

How do you do random removing from ringside? (e.g. Thrust knee lift)
How do you do random hand selection? (E.g. Grapple with your Faith, flanked by arena security)
How do you search your arsenal or opponent arsenal for cards and move it to another location (e.g. Punch after punch, taunt the fans etc)
Is Skype always necessary to play?

I might have more queries, but this are the issues I encounter so far.
Please assist as I wish to play for the lackey tourney and not be a hassle to my opponent. Haha!

Rules Forum / Kevin Nash Ability Qns
« on: June 23, 2015, 05:32:26 PM »
nWo Superstar Ability: When you successfully play a maneuver that is 10+D or Superstar-specific, after damage is applied, search your Arsenal and Ringside for Egomaniacal, reveal it, put it in your Ring, and shuffle.  During your opponent's turn, he can either discard 3 cards or put 1 D:2+ card from his Ring into his Ringside, and then you put Egomaniacal from your Ring into your Ringside.
You can pack Hall & Nash Arsenal cards (except Hall's Fall-Away Slam and Super Belly-to-Back Suplex), Too Sweet, and No Sell Maneuver; your Superstar-specific cards are nWo instead.  You cannot pack High Risks or Revolution cards.

Hi all! Does the 10D+ in Kevin Nash ability refers to the point when it is successfully played, or after opponent's sustain damage reduction? Initially I thought that it is the original damage, since sustain damage can only be played/ace after a successfully played card. But since the search for egomaniacal only takes place after the damage is applied, how does the timing breakdown works out again?

Rules Forum / Arabian Facebuster Qns
« on: May 28, 2015, 05:12:01 PM »

Arabian Facebuster
Trademark Finisher
Can only be played after a successfully played maneuver.
When played, you may discard up to 2 cards with 'chair' in the title; if you do, or when played after Chair Shot, this card is now Multi.
F: 30     D: 30     SV: 3     Unique     ECW logo

The phrasing of the bolded line seems to indicate I can discard 0 or 1 card with chair in the title to make Arabian Facebuster multi. Is this intentional?

Rules Forum / Wrestlemania! And Other Optional Effects Rules Questions
« on: March 30, 2015, 12:22:00 PM »
Hi All!

Recently, I am having a lot of queries regarding this card:

WrestleMania
Pre-match Pay-Per-View Event
Can only be played when there is a Feud card in any Ring area.
The maximum number of Pre-match cards you may have in your Ring area is increased by 1.
If you are about to lose the game via Pinfall victory, you may instead put this card into your Ringside pile and then all players put their hand on top of their Arsenal and then shuffle # cards from their Ringside pile into their Arsenal, where # is equal to double their Superstar Value. (This is not affected by the card titled Hell in a Cell Match.) End the current turn.
When this card is in your Ringside pile, before your Draw Segment, remove the top card of your Arsenal from the game.
Permanent
Unique
F: 0 D: 0

So these are my knowledge of activating this card:

1. You have to lose via a pinfall victory
2. You have to have enough cards to shuffle for wrestlemania
3. Your opponent have to have enough cards to shuffle for wrestlemania

What I am not very sure is about point 3. Do my opponent have to be able to complete the effect with me together as well? Since cards like Thrust Knee Lift needs the opponent to fulfill the effect as well for the entire effect to take place

Other optional effects which I have doubts as well:

John Cena (Superstar Card)
Starting Hand Size: 8
Superstar Value: 3
Superstar Ability:
When you successfully play a maneuver from your hand, you may discard 1 card and then your opponent randomly discards 3 cards from his Backlash deck. Your cards titled Taunt the Fans are not Heel cards. Ignore the "Can only be played..." text on your cards with the word "chain" in the title.

If his opponent has 0, 1 or 2 cards in his Backlash deck, can John Cena still activate his ability to remove the remaining cards from his Backlash deck? Can he discard for his ability even if his opponent has no more cards in his Backlash deck? (probably for the sake of generating heat cards or throwing thrust knee lift into ringside etc)

Similar question as above for Jericho's ability:

Chris Jericho (Superstar Card) (STARTER DECK - Premiere/SS1/SS3 / PREMIUM RARE - SS2)
Starting Hand Size: 7
Superstar Value: 3
Superstar Ability:
Once during each of your turns you may discard 1 card and then your opponent discards 1 card.

Thank you for any assistance provided.  ;D

Rules Forum / Radicalz question
« on: February 17, 2015, 04:01:12 PM »
Tag Team Superstar Ability: You may pack Snap Senton Splash, Guerrero Frog Splash, Kamikaze Headbutt, Crippler Crossface, and For Real; these cards gain The Radicalz logo.  Search your Arsenal for those cards, reveal them, put them in your Backlash, and shuffle your Arsenal; they are now Mid-match cards until successfully played or reversed.
When you reverse a card from hand to end your opponent's turn and the first card played on your next turn is The Radicalz-specific, you may ignore the "Can only be played..." text.

Hi all, I would like some help on this question:

Since crippler crossface has been mrp with a rms logo, I'm pretty sure it couldn't be a mid match card even when the ability states that it is. So does it affect it's playability when it sits in the backlash deck as an arsenal card? Does playing it as a reversal still counts as reversing from backlash deck?

Rules Forum / A few timing qns
« on: December 17, 2014, 04:03:59 PM »
Hi all! I would like some assistance on these few qns.

Will I be able to use the Ace of sustain damage on Christian's "Just Close Your Eyes" if "Just Close Your Eyes" is used to reverse the ace of sustain damage? For example, I played punch, opponent plays elbow to the face, I activate sustain damage, opponent uses "Just Close Your Eyes". Now I know that I have to take the 2D from elbow to the face since the timing sequence for damage modifications is over. But "Just Close Your Eyes" followed its own timing breakdown right?

Just Close Your Eyes
As an action, this card is -4F and -7D, shuffle this card into your Arsenal and your opponent discards 2 cards.
As a reversal, reverse any Activated Card Effect and end your opponent's turn.

Another question, will cards like Orlando Jordan: Chief of Staff be able to prevent reversal cards or card effects that remove the reversed card from game? Eg. Chained Heat, Piper's Pit.

Piper's Pit
Choose 1 Venue, Stipulation, or Event card in your opponent's Ring area. When this card is in your Ring area, the chosen card has blank text and when you reverse a card from anywhere except your Arsenal, remove the reversed card from the game.

Orlando Jordan: Chief of Staff
When this card is in your Ring area, if your opponent reverses a card from his hand or Backlash deck, you may put this card into your Ringside pile and then put the reversed card into your hand instead of your Ringside pile.
When this card is in your Ringside pile, during your turn you may allow your opponent to draw 3 cards and then put this card into your Ring area.

Chained Heat
As an action, discard this card and then shuffle up to 2 other Chain cards from your Ringside pile into your Arsenal.
As a reversal, reverse any Chain card or Heat card and end your opponent's turn. If the reversed card is a Chain card, you do not need to discard 2 cards in order to reverse it from your hand. If the reversed card is a Heat card, it is removed from the game.

Thanks for any assistance provided!

Rules Forum / Booby Trap TB
« on: August 27, 2014, 04:30:46 AM »

Booby Trap
Reversal: Special
Whenever a card causes you to discard this card, your opponent discards 1 card.
When your opponent successfully plays a card that lets him see your hand, you may discard this card and he discards 2 cards.
When overturned by an Action card or Pre-match card, reverse that card and end your opponent’s turn. You may put this card into your hand.

So if my opponent plays Just Bring It and looked at my hand, I discard booby trap tb for its second effect to force my opponent to discard 2 cards, will it stack with its first effect and cause a third discard? Since booby trap tb causes booby trap tb to be discarded, so it's still considered as a card causing me to discard booby trap tb right?

Messin' With Little Jimmy
Pre-match Event: Heel
Cannot be blanked.  Your Superstar Value is +1.
Remove 1 card in your opponent's Ring or Ringside with 'Jimmy' or 'Management' in the title from the game.
ACE: Once during each of your turns, you may discard 1 card and put 1 card from hand on top of your Arsenal, and then he chooses one: he discards 1 random Backlash card, you may shuffle 2 cards from your Ringside into your Arsenal and draw 1 card, or he removes the top 2 cards of his Arsenal from the game; when this effect is reversed, your turn continues.
