Rules Forum / Egomaniacal vs Kaientai
« on: June 22, 2017, 11:03:55 AM »
This card is -10F when played after the card titled Ego Boost.
When this card is in your Ring area, your opponent's overturned cards are removed from the game instead of going to his Ringside pile.
F: 20   D: 0

Starting Hand Size: 6 Superstar Value: 1
Tag Team Superstar Ability: Once during each of your turns, you may discard 2 cards and overturn 2 cards, and then search your Arsenal for a non-hybrid non-Run-in Multi maneuver, reveal it, put it in your hand, and shuffle your Arsenal.
When your opponent would remove any number of your cards from the game, that number is reduced to 0.
You may only pack Unique maneuvers. You may pack High-Flying Style and Funaki maneuvers.

How will the interaction work with the ability? Since egomaniacal doesn't really have a specific number for it to be reduced to 0.
Likewise, is the 2 cards removal from thrust knee lift reduced to 0 as well to enable thrust knee lift to return to bottom of arsenal or is it totally unusable?

Rules Forum / Monday Nitro Qns
« on: June 15, 2017, 01:25:49 PM »
Welcome to Monday Nitro!
Pre-match Event
Requirement: Allegiance: WCW
When you are a WCW Superstar, this card does not take up a Pre-match slot in your Ring, and when you Activate Where the Big Boys Play, you may put the cards on the bottom of your Arsenal instead.
When Houston, Texas is not in your Ring, you and your opponent draw 4 cards, and he randomly discards cards until he discards a hybrid card; then, you discard the same number of cards.  When Flanked by Arena Security is not in any player's Ring, all players' Starting Hand Size are -2, and all players draw 3 less cards for The Best Laid Plans.
F: 0     D: 0     Unique     Permanent     RMS logo     WCW logo

Does the -2 hand size still apply if Houston Texas is in your ring? Resulting in a potential -5 hand size to all players.

Rules Forum / <R> BoD's Ability
« on: March 19, 2017, 01:48:42 PM »
Revolution Brothers of Destruction
Starting Hand Size: 6     Superstar Value: 7
Tag Team Superstar Ability: When you would discard any number of cards, you may instead overturn twice that many cards.
You can pack Kane and Undertaker Revolution maneuvers; you cannot pack Corners.

Hi, I would like to know if BoD's replacement ability (overturn instead of discard) works similarly to EnC's ability? As in do they have to reveal the card they intend to discard before replacing it with overturning? Since certain card would require you to discard a specific type of card (non-hybrid reversal, antic etc)

And would they need to have the required amount of cards in hand to discard before replacing it? (E.g. Retrieving Spinning Drop Kick with no cards in hand)

Thank you for any assistance provided.

Rules Forum / Random Arsenal Revealing Dilema
« on: February 26, 2017, 07:14:42 PM »
How does one determine the revealing of a card from Arsenal to be truly random?
If the player happens to know the order of the cards in his Arsenal (e.g. Hmmm), or if there are just too little cards left in the Arsenal, wouldn't that compromise the integrity of the reveal to be truly random?
And it's not like the player would like to intentionally reveal an undesired card in such situations as well.  :(
I'm not sure if shuffling prior to the reveal would be fair or advisable if it's not an effect stated on the card/ability.

Rules Forum / The YES! Lock Maintained
« on: February 20, 2017, 06:20:42 AM »
The YES! Lock
Trademark Finisher + Submission
You may search your Arsenal for Maintain Hold, reveal it, put it in your hand, and shuffle.
When this card is reversed from Arsenal, your opponent's reversal is removed from the game instead, and you may put this card on the bottom of your Arsenal.
During your turn when this card is in your hand, you may reveal it, and then overturn 1 card, draw 1 card, and put this card on the bottom of your Arsenal.
F: 25     D: 20     SV: 3     Unique     Multi

When The YES! Lock is successfully maintained, and it is reversed on the overturn while applying damage from the maintained maneuver, will the reversal be removed from the game and will The YES! Lock be placed on the bottom of your Arsenal?

Tournament Reports / SG King of the Ring 2016 Updates & Reports
« on: July 05, 2016, 08:11:08 PM »
Welcome to the Reports for King of the Ring 2016

For those who are not familiar with the Singapore Raw Deal forum, our King of the Ring format will be a single elimination knock out round that will be conducted over several weeks (very similar to the lackey tournament). This is for the convenience of players who have difficulty finding a common time with everyone else even though they wish to participate in a tourney and win some prizes. There will be a weekly poll for different things in our local forum as well for this tourney. (part of the reason is that I do not know how to set up a poll over here) I will continue to update this page with my preview/analysis and results over the weeks till the end of the tourney.

So for those who are interested, please follow the link to vote:

Participants are as follow:

DebuRaito - Carlito
Norshadem - The Corre
Steadybompipi - Edge
Daftw - Sami Zayn
Broskimon - Zack Ryder
Matthardynotdie - Luke Harper
HaveANiceDay - Harlem Heat
YouCantSeeMe - Hurricane
Darkworldz - The Fabulous Moolah
Naitchng - The Godfather
MrHotPack - Brock Lesnar
Bigfreakred - Seth Rollins

According to the voting results for Round 1, our featured match will be the highly anticipated showdown between "The Beast" Brock Lesnar and "The Architect" Seth Rollins! So let us take a look on how I am analyzing this highly voted match up!

Brock Lesnar VS Seth Rollins

Personal Review & Prediction:

The Beast VS The Architect has already been seen on Battleground 2015 and we all know very well how the match would have ended if it is not for the interference of a certain someone from Death Valley. Rollins' only chance will have to come early and pick up a surprise win against Brock before The Beast starts to gain momentum as it is very difficult to avoid getting overrun by that massive physique. All in all, I would still put my money on Brock Lesnar for taking Seth Rollins to Suplex City!!!

Results & Highlights:

"Sierra Hotel India Echo Lima Delta, The Shield!" Seth Rollins made his way down through the crowd to his good old Shield's entrance music as he takes a diving roll over the barricade on to the mat before entering the ring. The Architect is coming in for some serious business tonight! Drawing a bunch of pops from the chanting WWE Universe.

Moments later, the lights in the arena dimmed down a little as the attention was then turned to the entrance and Brock Lesnar's theme song, The Next Big Thing, blasted out across the entire stadium. The Universe immediately burst in to a series of cheers as The Beast makes his way down the ramp with a smirky Paul Heyman behind him. Lesnar, dressed in a nWo T-Shirt did his usual warmup routine before jumping on the ring apron as the pyrotechnics fired. This is the moment we have all been waiting for... The grand opening of King of the Ring 2016!!!

The Architect immediately gets to action, he shook The Beast on to the ground before landing a Blindside Elbow Drop to gain an early momentum. But Brock isn't the kind of opponent to be trifled with as he immediately spotted an opening and flawlessly transited in to a good old scoop slam before taunting at Rollins about his collegiate background. He followed up with a Toss but The Architect immediately rolled through his attempt and knocked him away before delivering a Perfectly Executed Topé on The Beast! What A Maneuver! What A Match!

Now it is Seth's turn to taunt at Brock, but The Beast smacked him right out of his gloat and went behind him for a German Suplex! Suplex City female dog! Here Comes The Pain! Brock is gaining the upper hand now with all that momentum swinging his way!

Just as Rollins thought he found a window against The Beast, Lesnar dodged out of the way and delivers another German Suplex! The Architect better think fast, the red light is blinking violently for him!!!

Rollins attempts to throw whatever he could at Brock but it seems like The Beast is unfazed by those minor strikes at all as he shook them off and continue to pummel Seth down with more hard hitting offense, including Seth's own move, The Curb Stomp, talk about seeing how it feels. Lol.

Brock has seen enough enough as The Baddest Guy On Earth toss Rollins on to his back to set up for the F-5 to end this match... BUT!!! Just as The Beast swings Seth out for the F-5, The Architect landed on his feet! Yep, Seth did take a bit of damage from the impact of the landing but he managed to steady himself as he ran towards Brock and jumped high in the air, landing a magnificent Curb Stomp OUT OF NOWHERE!!! Rollins quickly went over Lesnar and hook both of his legs for the pin, 1! 2! 3!

This is it! ROLLINS DID IT! THE ARCHITECT DID IT! SETH'S THE MAN! Seth Rollins just took out a major contender for the King of the Ring's throne as almost no one, yes, not even me, would expect The Beast to fall so early in the opening match this year. The WWE Universe erupted in to a chorus of cheers as the underdog climbed on to the top turnbuckle, raising his hands in the air to embrace the smell of victory...

So with my sincerest congratulations, I shall announce the winner: Seth "The Man/Architect" Rollins

Seth Rollins has eliminated Brock Lesnar

Here's a winner/loser picture of the featured match participants:

Remaining Match-ups for Round 1:

Harlem Heat has eliminated Luke Harper
The Corre has eliminated Carlito
The Fabulous Moolah has eliminated Hurricane
The Godfather has eliminated Edge
Zack Ryder has eliminated Sami Zayn

Welcome back to Round 2 of the King of the Ring 2016 Report! I hope everyone had fun playing/reading Round 1 match-up from 2 of the biggest stars in WWE. So for Round 2, I am going to rumble things up a little and show everyone how the beauty of Virtual Superstar can bring out such an unorthodox match-up!

Harlem Heat VS The Fabulous Moolah

Personal Review & Prediction:

This has got to be the most UNUSUAL match-up that we will ever see in our lifetime. The 10 times WCW Tag Team Champions going 2 on 1 against the 8 times WWF Women's Champion, Hall of Famers everywhere! At first look, it seems that the masculine and number advantage will put the match on an imbalance scale, but The Fabulous Moolah has already proved that she is more than capable of taking punishment from her previous match with a highly offensive Hurricane, therefore, the match is far from over before the opening bell! It's a battle of high octane offense against rock hard defense, but like what everyone always said, "attack is the best defence", I foresee the Harlem Heat duo emerging as the winner and proceed to the next round.

Results & Highlights:

Can You Dig It Sucka!!! Out came Booker-T and Stevie Ray with the WCW Tag Team Title Belts strapped on their waists. This pair of 10 times WCW Tag Team Champions are the first ever participants of King of the Ring who participated as a pair, I guess you could say they are aiming to be the KingS of the Ring.

Hello Ladies~
What?! Val Venis? Oh no, it is The Fabulous Moolah! The music immediately changed to the running piano keys as the 8 times WWF Women's Champion start sashaying her way to the ring. Some may wonder if she is even physically fit enough to wrestle, but I assure you, from the looks of it, I wouldn't be surprise if she manage to score a major upset over the 2 big boys from WCW.

Ding ding ding! The timekeeper bell sounded as Booker-T went to action with a Booker Thrust Kick on to Moolah and immediately followed up with a Spinning T Kick which Moolah took it all upon her chin. Wow! That's brutal! I can see that the Harlem brothers aren't going to go easy on her even if she seems to be older than the brothers' age combined.

Moolah took a bit of time, but she recovered from the impact and locked the unguarded Stevie Ray in a Judo Choke. Surprise! When Booker T tries to interfere and pry her away, Moolah, in a moment of panic, slapped him away and shook him up real bad, way to go! Moolah!

The back and forth action continued for a while as The Fabulous Moolah recovered and stood up at every strike delivered by the Harlem brothers. Booker-T lands a Precision Kick, Moolah recovered; Stevie Ray lands a Precision Clothesline, Moolah recovered; Booker-T hurl himself at her with a Blindside Tornado Strike, Moolah recovered. The resilience displayed by The Fabulous is indeed FABULOUS!

Booker-T and Stevie Ray looked at each other and did a little nod, they probably think it is about time to end things off, they needed to do more than just landing strikes on Moolah, they need to deliver some finishers to end this match!

Stevie Ray immediately got to work as he picked Moolah up and dropped her down like a ton of bricks with a Dynamic Finisher! Ok this has got to be it! He went over for the cover, 1, 2, Kicked Out!!! What?! How the hell is this old lady capable of doing this?!

Both brothers are shocked at this sight as well, they looked at each other once more and decide that if they want to make it pass this round, they will have to dig deeper in to their arsenal. They waited for Moolah to recover and rise to her feet before and Stevie Ray went to action. He picked Moolah up with an elevated bear hug, squeezing the life out of her before Booker-T delivers a devastating side kick right to her skull! Is that the Big Apple Blast? Is that THE FINISHER?!

Stevie Ray drops Moolah on to the ground and both brothers covered her together this time. The referee make the counts and to no one's surprise, she is unable to kick out this time...

You fought well Moolah, you are definitely worthy of being a Legend, but maybe just this time, you are not that Fabulous.

Harlem Heat has eliminated The Fabulous Moolah
Remaining matches of Round 2:

Seth Rollins VS Zack Ryder
The Godfather VS The Corre

After 2 grueling rounds where 3 participants have advanced to the semi-finals, we are lacking 1 more man, or maybe woman, to fill up the final slot. Therefore, the participants who have failed to win Round 2 are given the chance for redemption in this Revival Round! So let us take a look at this first-ever triple threat match in our King of the Ring history!

Zack Ryder VS The Godfather VS The Fabulous Moolah

Personal Preview & Prediction:

3 Superstars from 3 different eras, this would be another never before seen match-up! Each of them have made it pass Round 1 with ease but took a tumble when the challenge got tougher in Round 2. If any of them wishes to survive from this elimination match, they would have to focus on more mind games to receive a temporary partnership in taking out the biggest threat. So after reviewing the results and individual wrestling styles of the 3 individuals, I find it very likely that Zack Ryder would be the one who proceed in to our Semi-Finals.

After a hard fought triple threat elimination match, The Godfather has manage to win over The Fabulous Moolah to his side by promising her a spot within the escorts and eliminated the Long Island Ice Z together before emerging victorious himself!

The Godfather won the Revival Round

The Corre has eliminated Harlem Heat
The Godfather has eliminated Seth Rollins

There will be no Featured Match for the Semi Finals.

The Corre has eliminated The Godfather

Due to some "Real Life Interferes", I haven't been able to finish the tourney with color commentary report. But nevertheless, let's all congratulate Norman and The Corre for becoming the King of the Ring 2016!!!

Cannot be blanked, can be played from Ringside, and does not take up a Pre-match slot in your Ring.
When your non-Superstar-specific card is unsuccessful, remove it from the game. Once during each of your turns, you may play a non-Unique card from your Ringside as if from hand.
Your Texas Cloverleaf cards are Trademark Finishers instead of Submissions, +5D, +1 Stun Value, and are considered to have 'leg' and 'back' in the title for your effects.

Banned from Ringside
Pre-match Event
Your opponent's Starting Hand Size is -1.
When this card is in your Ring area, when your opponent reverses an Action or Maneuver from his hand, you may put the reversed card on the bottom of your Arsenal instead of in your Ringside pile.

Hi guys, may I know if Banned from Ringside is able to redirect the reversed card before it gets removed out of game via Iceman Cometh? I understand that Banned has the ability to avoid removal from reversals like I Gotta Say Out Of Play but not sure if Iceman Cometh will functions more like the original Piper's Pit.

Format & Rules:

1) The format will be a knock out tournament that will last over a few weeks (depending on the amount of participants)

2) The format will be Virtual Classic

3) All superstars used by the participants will be strictly first come first serve basis, meaning that whoever pm me the superstars they want to use first will get to use that superstar for the tourney. This is for diversity sake (acting fast to snatch a strong superstar might be advantageous, but sitting back and decide after reviewing the roster might not be a bad idea too)

4) Once the player have decided the superstar he will be using after the deadline he cannot change his mind.

5) All players will learn who will be their opponent and the superstar their opponent will be using at least 1 day in advance.

6) Modifications to deck are ALLOWED after learning who their opponent would be, as long as the superstar used remains the same.

7) All participants can decide how, when and where they will have their match (including skype or lackey if both parties are ok) within the allocated time (usually within 7 days)

8) Games that failed to be played within the allocated time will be regarded as a double loss unless it is obvious that one of the party is responsible for abandoning the game

9) The closing date to submit their superstars and participate in this King of the Ring tournament will be 1st July 2016 and they will learn of their opponent by then following Friday, 8th July 2016, the participants will then have at least 1 week to play out their game and submit to me their results by pm before the end of next following Thursday

10) There will be prizes for everyone who participate, further details will be given later

The Champ
Starting Hand Size: 6     Superstar Value: 6
Superstar Ability:  When your opponent successfully plays a 5D+ maneuver and it is not reversed from Arsenal, after damage is resolved you may reveal 5 random cards in your Ringside, choose 1, and remove the remaining cards from the game; then shuffle your Ringside into your Arsenal.
Your non-maneuver cards cannot move cards from your Ringside to your Arsenal.
You can pack John Cena cards (except Yo! Kill Da Beat! and Revolution Doctor of Thuganomics), they are not Cheater or Fan Favorite. You cannot pack Hell in a Cell Match, and he cannot play The Champ Is Here!.  Your Arsenal can only contain 50 cards.
Old School Cage Match
Pre-match Stipulation
When a non-unique non-Superstar specific card or a card effect from a non-unique non-Stipulation non-Superstar specific card moves cards from any Ringside, the number of cards moved is reduced by 1.
When Back to Basics is in your Ring, your Pre-match Capacity is +3, and your opponent cannot play I'm Gonna Break You.
F: 0     D: 0     Unique     Permanent

Hi, may I know how would the bolded text of Champ's ability and old school cage match interact with rms cards? Am I right to say that Champ's ability is a HiaC for non-maneuver cards whereas old school cage match is modifying the card itself? Thanks.

Question 1:

If wrestlemania aces to prevent pinfall victory via its removal (e.g. Madison square garden) and I'm gonna break you is use to replace the removal so wrestlemania stays in ring, will the player be able to use the ace of wrestlemania to prevent pinfall victory again? Since technically speaking, it isn't another card, it's still the same wrestlemania card.

Question 2:

When the card states "cannot continue their turn more than 3 times", it's referring to 3 times in a row in a single turn or total of 3 times in a single game? Since it's kinda depressing if Ryback or Rey's ability can only be used 3 times in a game.

Hi Guys! The Road Block Tournament just ended last Saturday (19th March 2016) and it is time we take a look at the report!

Virtual Classic Tournament has 5 participants:

Norman - FBI
Junwei - Scott Hall
Daryl - The 8th Wonder Of The World
Daniel - Kaientai
Vincent - Paige

As there are only 5 players, I have decided to run a Round Robin so everyone can play everybody!

First Place: Norman (FBI)

Games Played: 4
Victories: 4 (Junwei, Daniel, Vincent, Daryl)
Defeats: 0

Second Place: Vincent (Paige)
Games Played: 4
Victories: 3 (Daryl, Daniel, Junwei)
Defeats: 1 (Norman)

Third Place: Daryl (The 8th Wonder Of The World)
Games Played: 4
Victories: 2 (Junwei, Daniel)
Defeats: 2 (Norman, Vincent)

Forth Place: Daniel (Kaientai)

Games Played: 4
Victories: 1 (Junwei)
Defeats: 3 (Vincent, Daryl, Norman)

Fifth Place: Junwei (Scott Hall)
Games Played: 4
Victories: 0
Defeats: 4 (Norman, Vincent, Daryl, Daniel)

The turnout is the same as the previous tourney (it's the exact same participants!) As much as I hope to have more participants, I appreciate the support given by the players this tourney. Let's look forward to a better turnout for the next one!

Bam Bam Bigelow
Starting Hand Size: 7     Superstar Value: 3
WWF Superstar Ability:  Once during each of your turns, you may remove 1 card in your hand from the game and your next card played this turn is -#F, where # is equal to the total Stun Value in your Ring + 1.
When playing Cartwheel, you may remove 1 card in your hand or 3 cards in your Ringside from the game and then ignore the 'Set-up' text.
When you reversed a card to end your opponent's turn and the first card played on your turn is Head Butt Drop, it is blank.

According to the timing breakdown, the player must still fulfill the requirement of playing after a 5D or greater maneuver or ignoring the "can only be played after" text before Head Butt Drop is blank right?
