An example would be if you were to discard 2 cards for Shoot Headlock to return it to your hand from Ringside.

So what scenario would I be able to use the card Dancin Finale? Can I use it when I take damage from a card and after overturning my last card I can activate Dancin Finale or is it when I'm about to lose to a card like Quick Count Ref?

It doesn't specify losing by countout or pin-fall, so anytime they would win.

It's a 12 hour drive for us. I wonder if we can get a full car from Barrie...

I had a long drawn out reply explaining why I think it is in more depth too. Oh well, personally I'm happy with it not being one and I'm pretty sure we've played it locally in the past that it isn't.

I found an old, poorly formatted Vengence FAQ online that has an ACE list containing this card in it.
Naming a card would be the activation cost. The card having "and then" distinguishes a cost and effect for the ACE.

Eric, FYI...if you're on those FB groups on a PC or laptop, you can right click on those images, and copy/paste them into word, resize them to 2.5 and 3.5....and viola! you can make a sheet of 9 cards to print :)

Thanks Crasher, I don't use Word and do my card printing with Photoshop. This is something that I'll bring up on the next one for others that haven't thought of this method.

Fair enough, but it might help you get them cleaned up easier as well....also if you don't have access to word you can use this too:

I didn't know about this software. Will definitely check it out to speed up the resizing now process.

We've been designing around a one-year minimum, people who've been around long enough to show they won't get released and leave us with nothing to build future support around.

So people like Ellsworth are too short-lived to bother with.  Alexa's a bit too new, as odd as that seems, for this particular holiday set.... but rest assured you'll be seeing her next year.

I'll have to slip the podcast guys a leak or two soon... :)

Which you did indeed do. Featured on today's show was the following tidbits.

The holiday set is called Payback with AJ Styles and Natalya confirmed for the set.

Also, you're talking about teams of individuals who aren't even in the game yet.  I think you're predicting for 2019 at that rate, heh.

Meanwhile, here's your Hawkins rough draft.

Starting Hand Size: 0     Superstar Value: 0
Superstar Ability: You lose the game.

Rules question on the ability.
Is it assumed by pin-fall if it doesn't specify?

Scott, myself and two of our local players are planning to livestream a recording for a Virtual Roundtable discussion. The goal is to record a video to share our experiences getting into Virtual in a short time period after a large portion of the sets have been released. This is for new players to the expansions for established
Curious as to what timing would work for viewers of this? We're aiming to make it interactive for viewers with your question and comments to be included.

Comic Images printed a Raw IC and Smackdown US Title for prizing. The US title was actually a pretty heavily played meta card along with Calling You Out and Old School Wrestling Match to lock down your opponent's prematch. You Rang slowed it down when it was released, but it wasn't great IMO.

Since you just made a Venue, would be nice to see this card return it to the Ring area.

I like Drywall's idea to improve the card.
It goes nice with my Kenny Omega fantasy set.,17369.0.html

No wonder the sets were kept separate. This is a giant release. Thanks for putting in the work. It's great to be caught up in the game when a big support set comes out like this.

It does not have the "Can only be played after.." text ignored, but if you were to activate this ability when they reverse from Arsenal your maneuver is still considered successfully played and you can follow it up accordingly.

Was finally able to catch both episodes of the podcast. Very interesting stuff, but I feel like more could be done in this!

1. I think the presentation of the podcast should be improved upon. Sitting in front of a laptop doesn't look nice for the viewer, might consider sitting facing one another, using a phone/tablet to check points would look better and feel better, presentation-wise. Just a tiny gripe.

2. Content-wise is superb. Stories are interesting and some bit of discussion of strategy and gameplay is awesome, but I think it's ramping up on future podcasts so I'm looking forward to that. However, I do want to see more discussion on cards and am hoping to see more of that soon.

3. The "spoilers", although interesting... are really misleading... in some ways. When I see the term spoilers, I expected actual cards and not just vague information on the 8B stuff, because that felt a bit underwhelming. I'm guessing Creed and the rest didn't want to divulge too much since titles/texts/etc can still change but I think the term "teaser" might be more accurate here. But of course, this was because the so-called spoiler section was the main event of sorts in the podcast.

Concluding my thoughts, the podcast was still very fun to watch and the duration isn't super long so I managed to watch both in a single seating. Definitely looking forward to future episodes!!

I see where you're coming from with the spoiler phrasing on the V8b content. The intention wasn't to be misleading, I just happened to have used different terms for the content that we're able to share with everyone.
Creative criticism is always welcome, and everything was well explained. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and I feel I can make some improvements with these ideas.
