This was a pretty fun deck to build. I don't think I've ever seen anyone go a volley route with moolah. for the pre-match the most important things to get out are Jimmy, the pyros, playing by the rules, all these years and possibly tech. From turn one I just start to remove anything I feel is essential to the deck. IF possible I'll try to get rid of the don't try's as they can come in hand to my opponent late game when I'm acing volley beyond the edge. both times I've used the deck I've just been lucky to get a volley in play start of game and both opponents were not chain or heat. This deck just sits and stalls for the most part. even though she doesn't get the benefit of packing thrust knee lifts her ability paired with the small volley maneuvers that remove cards and volleyed beyond the edge is more than enough to pump up the whip. She also gets the benefit from legend cards and era of the superstar. It's certainly a fun deck. Any suggestions are more than welcome.

I know that everyone is not in the Raw Deal Facebook page so I thought I might as well post here too. I was thinking about hosting another large Raw Deal event this time in Chicago. Now I’m not entirely sure when or where so I thought maybe I would ask for some suggestions. I’m looking for any card shops, comic shops, or any event You think would host such an event. Last year I did the Planet Funkcon event in the Quad Cities so I’m looking to do something similar that means possibly even putting up a WWE belt from the shop. Maybe even 2.
Things to keep in mind. -I’m looking to keep costs at a minimum. Last year I charged $30 per person and then $10 or $15 for entry into the convention. This is something I would like to avoid if at all possible. I understand conventions need to charge an entry to make money but I also keep in mind not everyone is going for the convention.
-If people are interested I would like to do 2 tournaments back to back. So that means I would need location for Saturday and Sunday. The main Tournament would be Virtual Classic format the other one would be a gimmick tournament.
If I remember correctly (and boy is my memory shot.) I believe we had 16 people at Funk Con. I am wanting to surpass that with this event. Any help is much appreciated I want one more go at running a big event like this and to be a lot more organized. Funk Con wasn’t bad by any means but I know I messed up with the way prizes were handed out last time. I want no errors this time.
Thanks everyone.

If my opponent were to pass for there action during the pre-match phase and I also pass for my pre-match phase does that end the pre-match phase or do they get 1 last try to play something?

If I pin myself with old school wrestling match and I activate wrestlemania would it be there turn since it is no longer my turn they can’t reverse it right?
WrestleMania Pre-match Pay-Per-View Event Can only be played when there is a Feud card in any Ring area. The maximum number of Pre-match cards you may have in your Ring area is increased by 1. If you are about to lose the game via Pinfall victory, you may instead put this card into your Ringside pile and then all players put their hand on top of their Arsenal and then shuffle # cards from their Ringside pile into their Arsenal, where # is equal to double their Superstar Value. (This is not affected by the card titled Hell in a Cell Match.) End the current turn. When this card is in your Ringside pile, before your Draw Segment, remove the top card of your Arsenal from the game. Permanent Unique F: 0 D: 0
Old School Wrestling Match - Throwback Pre-match Stipulation If any player's turn ends after his Draw Segment without attempting to play a maneuver, he overturns 6 cards. Turns cannot be skipped, and non-Superstar-specific cards cannot prevent an opponent from playing maneuvers. When Back to Basics is in your Ring, your Pre-match Capacity is +3, and your opponent cannot play I'm Gonna Break You. F: 0 D: 0 Unique Permanent RMS logo

Kairi Sane Handsize: 6 Superstar value: 2 Ability: your opponent must remove two cards in his ringside from the game to be able to play reversals from there hand to your volley maneuvers.
The Pirate Princess Backstage Area Your volley maneuvers are not fan favorite or cheater. During your opponents turn when he successfully plays a maneuver with “reverse” in the text you may put this card into your ring remove the top 5 cards from your arsenal blank the maneuvers text and damage and end your opponents turn.
When this card is in your ring your volley maneuvers are -2f.
The Anchor Submission volley: 12 F: 15 D: 8 When you have less cards removed from the game than your opponent and less fortitude this card is -5f and a trademark finisher instead.
Walk the Plank Action volley: 3 F: 5 D:3
when this card is in your ring or ringside you may put it on the bottom of your arsenal and your opponent removes the top card of his arsenal from the game
When this card is removed from the game by your opponent double the numbers in your ability your next turn.
Sailing the seven seas F:0 D:0
Pre-match event You may play this card during any pre-match phase. Search your arsenal for the card titled walk the plank. Put it into your ring and shuffle your arsenal.
Ace: during your turn you may remove this card from the game and shuffle 5 cards from your hand and 5 cards from your ringside into your arsenal and draw 2 cards. When you have lower fortitude this effect cannot be reversed.
Seven Seas F: 25 D: 20 RMS Trademark Finisher + high risk volley: 10
Can only be played after a successfully played volley maneuver or the card titled from the top rope.
When played and your fortitude rating is greater than your opponents and he has at least 20 cards removed from the game this card can only be reversed from arsenal.

Touch of Darkness, Flight of Angels Backstage Card Once during each of your turns when you successfully play a non-High-Risk 3D+ maneuver, you may overturn 2 cards and then reduce the Damage to 0; if you do, the card is considered to be resolved, and your opponent may not play reversals to it. Unique RMS logo V5
If I play an RMS maneuver say "atomic lariat" Would the damage of the maneuver be reduced or would my opponent still take the damage for it and not be able to play reversals to it?

So I'm building the Second Coming and I decided to go BASH with him. I am running into some issues with my build and looking to get advice on what to take out, not take out, etc. I am feeling there are not a whole lot of maneuvers in the deck to fully abuse DAB aside his Superstar maneuvers and the Bash ones. Just kind of a small promo superstar I thought of while I was at work running old Goldust/bookers promos through my head.
Book-Dust Hand size: 5 Superstar Value: 4
Once during each of your turns you may put 2 cards from your hand on the bottom of your arsenal and your next superstar specific maneuver played this turn is considered to have blank text. You may pack the card titled Freaks are cool, And Booker T and Goldust specific maneuvers and reversals. You cannot play cards with the NWO Logo. You cannot pack any title belt except for the tag team title belts.
Goldust Master of Disguise Backstage Area Before the first turn of the game you may put the card titled Freaks are Cool! From your backlash deck into our ring. That card is permanent. When your opponent reverse a superstar specific maneuver you may put this card into your ringside to make them discard 3 cards.

Hello everyone! Its getting close to that time of the year again. I was asked by Mitch to help out this year and will be running the Sunday format. Now from what I heard most people tend to leave Saturday night so I was wondering if there was any format I could do on Sunday that would convince some of you to stay and play that day? I was thinking of running a classic old school tag team tournament but I am open to hearing you guys out. What format would you like to attend on a Sunday morning Gencon 2018?

Revolution WWE Tag Team Title Belts Pre-match: Object Draw up to 1 card and your Superstar Value is +1; when you are a Tag Team, double those numbers and your Pre-match Capacity is +1. Universally Unique
The Best in the World at What We Do Pre-match Event Cannot be blanked. Double all printed numbers in your Title Belts, and your maneuvers are +2D. Your opponent’s Pre-match and Mid-match Capacity are -2, and his maneuvers are -2D. This card is also considered to be titled Mountain of a Man. F: 0 D: 0 Unique Permanent RAW & Smackdown logos
Would I draw 4 cards total from Revolution tag team titles if I play TBITWAWWD before playing the belts?

Hello everyone! Just an update with our event just in case you're not in the Discord group and want more info.
Friday we are working on something for us all to do. I wanna give time for everyone to look around at the vendors and such but if enough people wanna play raw deal this day we will have our room opened and may run an event this day as well. I have been told our fellow Canadians will be attending so after the con if anyone wants to come to my place have a few beers and play that is an option too. I have a spare room that fits roughly 3-4 6ft tables with still enough room for us all to be comfortable in. Im actually thinking of turning it into a game room for my local raw deal tournaments we hold each month. I literally can walk from the venue to my house in 5 minutes or less. We are also down near the bar scene/resturants.
Venue: Tax Slayer Center Location: Moline Illinois Date: June 23rd 2018 Start time: 10am signups Format: Virtual Classic Entry Fee: $45 (considering the cost for Gencon this is $45 for 2 days compared to $45 a day at Gencon.) 1st Prize: I decided a custom championship would be a lot more acceptable. So I will be giving away the 1st ever Planet Funk Con Raw Deal Championship belt!!
Other prizes: we will still be handing out prizes left and right everyone will walk away with something!! This is surely what Im hoping to be the biggest event of the year!
Special Guest: It was very unfortunate. I know we were in talks with Foley negotiating with his agent and suddenly they decided to take another offer from someone else so sadly Foley will not be present. Im sorry we had really special plans for him. However, if all goes good this year the Con REALLY want him for next year.

CM Punk Starting Hand Size: 9 Superstar Value: 3 Superstar Ability: Once during each of your turns, you may name one non-Superstar-specific reversal, and your next maneuver played cannot be reversed by that reversal. Your Double Underhook Back Breaker cards are +1D and Multi, and when you successfully play that card, draw 2 cards. V1
Can I choose when to name the reversal? say if I play an action first can I then name a reversal card tha cannot be played to my next maneuver?

So I was looking to build the 8th wonder of the world deck. I've played it before but I've always felt that I've had to many reversals or that my backlash deck didn't live up to the potential. I decided to take another try at it... basically I'm thinking of taking the VKM gulps out.. it was one of the main reasons I built the deck however, the deck easily gets F going and it becomes a dead card. Also the backlash deck currently looks like this cause I'm not sure what to do with it at this point.
Backstage: All shenanigans Legendary defense Hometown hero As tough as any two men.
Pre-match: Saturday night main event Product endorsement Heenan family Dare to take a challenge Eiffel Tower Signed contract with Linda Old switcharoo
Mid-match: 3x ready to fight 2x USA! USA! USA! King interferes Substain damage When you thought you had all the answers... Good life RTV restricted use Giant choke
Reversals: 3x DTTAH 2x escape the rules Raw deal revolution 2x great to be back here in Break the hold Step aside Escape move 2x coach says 2x VKM gulp Douchebag Divine Carlito says Giant assist Rude-ly interrupted Thinking one step Bob orton Obey It's not my fault Immovable object
Actions: 2x candice icon Princess bride Giant brain trust
Maneuvers: Maneuver of doom Giant head butt Giant bear hug Giant knee smash 3x precision kick 3x precision sleeper 2x precision haymaker 3x precision clothesline 3x blindside drop toe hold 3x blindside hook 2x blindside beal toss
I know the list is missing quite a few cards... also while typing it seems I forgot to add blindsided ego and the other blindside reversal. Worth putting in? Suggestions?

The Common Man Backstage Card Cannot be packed when packing Classic Competitor. When packing this card, your maneuvers with 'classic' in the title are not Unique. Your maneuvers with 'classic' in the title are +2D. When one of your Pre-match cards would be moved from your Ring, you may hide this card instead. Unique RMS logo WWF Classic logo V8
Just a quick question does this mean I can pack 3 of any classic maneuver?

Will update with photos hopefully soon... for some reason they are coming out very blurry regardless of what size images are... so until I fix it here is something else I worked on. Decay Handsize: 10 Superstar Value: 3 Impact Tag Team ability: During your turn when you play a maneuver remove one card in your hand from the game. If that maneuver is successful you may shuffle 2 cards from your ringside into your arsenal. If the maneuver is reversed remove 1 card in your ringside from the game. You may not pack any title belts other than the tag team titles. Nobodies (Decay Logo) F:0 D:0 Pre-match event: Your superstar specific backlash deck cards do not take up a slot in your ring. During your turn you may put this card into your ringside to reveal the top 5 cards of your arsenal. Choose one card to put into your hand, put 2 cards on the bottom of your arsenal, and remove 2 cards from the game. It's.... beautiful! (Decay Logo + Abyss Logo) F: 10 D: 0 Action +Action Can only be played if you have 15 or more cards removed from the game. When successfully played search your arsenal for up to 15 cards, reveal them to your opponent and remove them from the game. You may then shuffle up to 15 cards removed from the game into your arsenal. Your next maneuver played this turn cannot be reversed. Rosemary's Mist (Decay Logo + Rosemary Logo) Reversal: Special F: 8 D:2 As a reversal reverse any non-maneuver card and end your opponents turn. During your next turn you may play a maneuver removed from the game as if it were in your hand. Black Hole Slam (Decay Logo + Abyss Logo) F:35 D:20 Trademark Finisher/reversal:special As a maneuver can only be played as a counter. As a reversal reverse any maneuver with a reversal restriction and end your opponents turn. Crazy Steve's Cannonball (Decay Logo + Crazy Steve Logo) F:3 D:6 High Risk+High Risk Can only be played after a setup card or as a counter. Double the number in your ability. Shock Treatment (Abyss Logo + Decay Logo) Grapple F:10 D:10 When your Fortitude is greater than your opponents this card is considered a trademark Finisher instead. End your turn.

So.. this has happened to me more than once in the last few months. I'll be on Lackey and it will go to say (not responding.) at the top which Isn't an issue all programs tend to do that however, everytime mine does it deletes everything as If I were to just start it up. No plugin and all my decks are gone.
Is there something I should be doing differently?

Sasha Banks Starting Hand Size: 7 Superstar Value: 2 NXT Diva Superstar Ability: Your Set-up actions played from hand are F: 0, and your opponent's Set-up actions are not affected by Boston, Massachusetts. You can pack up to 10 non-Backlash Set-up cards hidden in your Backstage Area. VHS1
The Baddest Diva In NXT Backstage Card At the end of the Pre-match phase, put up to 1 Set-up card from your Backstage into your hand, and shuffle any other Set-up cards in your Backstage into your Arsenal; when you do not have a Venue in your Ring, you may put Boston, Massachusetts and Ring Psychology: Back into your Ring from any area.
