First of all, a belated congratulations on the release of V10!

i have a few questions regarding Nia Jax

1) When packing Sucker Punch TB, is it considered as a Multi?

For me this has to be the best takeover so far. Every match was impressive, there was a new title, Ricochet and EC3 making their debuts.

And the main event, WOW. MOTY candidate. Gargano is like the Daniel Bryan candidate in the way he can generate thw emotions from the crowd.

First of all, a huge thank you to Keith and Joshua (stucket on TCO) for introducing and hosting the Revolution tournaments here in Singapore, it has been a great journey thus far and looking forward to more great Revolution tournaments!

Since we started the VR tournaments here in Singapore, we had a grand total of 17 tournaments, and below are some statistics

Superstars not used before: Kane, Edge, Balls Mahoney, Kevin Thorn, Marcus Cor Von, The Rock, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Brothers of Destruction, Raven

Personally, i think the most used superstars are those with a more straightforward ability, other than BWO, which is an honest surprise. But looking at the latest tournament, which DebuRatio won with a BWO, perhaps it is a superstar one should have a closer look at.

Amongst the superstars not used, with the exception of a Storyline Edge and The Rock, they do not have a straightforward built, or else, there are Superstars that can do a better job than them (i.e Hogan vs Piper, King Booker vs Raven, Test vs Marcus Cor Von).

Honestly, I never knew Rhyno could be that strong, until i saw Joewi's built in the VR Battleground 2017 Tournament (last tourney of cycle 2) and realized that he can easily hit an Assault: Colossal by turn two and completely obliterate an opponent. Test also has the same ability as Rhyno to hit a colossal in turn two, and it seems that hitting a Colossal as early as possible is the a really strong strategy in the Revo format.

Undertaker's non-Storyline ability is a dangerous and very useful one and his amazing support cards makes him all the more better. His Storyline ability, has been used by Keith in the VR No Mercy 2017 Tournament (2nd tourney of cycle 3), with A New Breed Faction to make Extremes hard to reverse.

Follow-ups deck are amongst the hardest to play, which could explain why Matt and Jack are at the bottom two. Furthermore,  the built for Matt and Swagger are more challenging compared to other Follow-up decks like Jeff and Kofi. Matt faces some difficulties replenishing his hand, while Jack can only search for a Follow-up after successfully playing a maneuver. I'll definitely have to take a look at Matt and Swagger again to see if there are better ways to utilize their cards and abilities.

Great Khali's Storyline and Big Show, for me, is too passive of a built, although Khali's non-Storyline ability does have some potential. Not sure as to why Goldberg is performing badly, though. He has a good ability then can set up his hand nicely and pretty strong support cards.

There is just a short analysis based on past tournament results on the strongest, weakest, most popular, and least popular superstars. If you have read till the end, thank you so much for your time, and hopefully, it provides some insight into the Revolution superstars.

I would also like to thank the TCO team for the continuous hard work and dedication in making new superstars for all players, be it Revolution or Classic. It has provided us with many new ways to play, new styles to experiment with, and most importantly, lots more fun playing Raw Deal.

Tournament Reports / SG Virtual Revolution Cycle 3 - Kickoff Tournament

The first tournament of SG Virtual Revolution Cycle 3 sees a group of 8 players show up. No superstar restrictions or special rules for the first tourney of the cycle. Here is my tourney report before i forget

Match 1 vs Big Show
Drew a hand with good reversals and some 8F means. Was about to use A New Plan due to a lack of starting maneuvers but seeing Big Show play the Heavyweight title to get his SSV to 8, i played Climbing the Ladder for my last pre match slot instead. Threw some early means, reversed some of his cards, and was able to keep my hand large with Climbing the Ladder. Won the game with a Scoop Slam (or a Core) though, IIRC.

Match 2 vs Shield
Got a fairly decent hand and started off quite well. But ran out of reversals from the relentless attacking capabilities of Shield. Manage to get up to 13F and stopped his Mean with Sandman's Singaporean (cheap pop!) Vengeance with the Singaporean Cane in my Ringside. Very soon, Shield got overwhelmed with Singaporean Canes (which is coincidentally my mum's favourite weapon as well when I was younger).

Match 3 vs Test
Started the match off well, hitting in a few cores and stopping his first few moves. Weirdly, i was unable to draw into any Means in the middle of the game and had to overturn 6 cards thrice in a row (!!!) for Aggression. This is when I realized I should have put in Double Leg Lock Crabs/Full Nelson Slam/Spinning Drop Kick into my deck. Lost to an Electric Chair, IIRC.

Match 4 vs Stone Cold
Wow, this was an epic game. I didnt know how i survived a beatdown that included a Stone Cold Stunner and Brogue Kick. Surviving with Cores such as Slap the Taste out of Your Mouth and Scoop Slam, slowly exhausting down his Mean reversals before overwhelming him with more Means. I believe Keith had almost a 100F (or more, maybe) but Sandman manage to survive. Yet another epic match with Keith! Even though his SSV might seem very helpful towards my cause, Stone Cold's ability allows him very good control of his hand and thus made it a really close match.

Match 5 vs Umaga
Went very similarly to the match against Test. Overturn for Aggression Rule twice in a row (IIRC) and had to attempt an Only One Solution as a maneuver. Really made me rue the decision not to include Double Leg Lock Crabs. Loss to a Steel Chain Shot.

Match 6 vs Matt Hardy
A really bad hand saved by A New Plan and Matt's usage of Doublr Leg Lock Crab to fuel his hand to play Flying Forearm kept boosting my hand, which means I was able to constantly stop that card. Finished him off with a 'Momentum-ed' White Russian Leg Sweep.

Match 7 vs CM Punk
This game was pretty similar to the Big Show one and CM Punk only got 1F through Two for the Money on the overturn. Stopped all the attempts of Scissors Hold. Unfortunately for Punk, Desperate Hold was among the last few cards in the arsenal. Overwhelmed Punk with Means.

Overall, surprised how well Sandman turned out, eventually finishing 2nd. Perhaps including Double Leg Lock Crab/Full Nelson Slam might have possibly help turn the two losses into wins.

Today saw a turnout of 10 people in total. however, due to some people being late (actually, it was just me. really sorry about that), and some others having to leave early, we played a round robin format instead of a top cut. I built a hogan deck because his ability is really fun!

Gonna keep each match report short as we played 9 matches each!

Match 1 vs. King Booker
Couldn't get much of my cores and antics in. King Booker has reversals for most of my cards, and thus, wasn't able to get a good flow. Quick win for King Booker.

Match 2 vs. Cesaro
Another quick loss as i ran into reversals after reversals. Somehow just couldn't draw into the reversals when needed. Manage to mount some offense though i eventually ran out as i couldn't get my antics in, taking a lot of damage for aggression rule.
At this point, i came into a realization my deck is weak against deck that plays a lot of the hybrid reversals as my maneuvers were all cores.

Match 3 vs. Rhyno
Got trashed. This Rhyno deck is a beast and threw his colossals in on the third turn. Being stuck on 4 fort, and thus unable to delay the onslaught with Slow the Match to a Crawl, Rhyno killed me on his third turn. Scary deck

Match 4 vs. BWO
had a very strong hand, bwo couldn't get any initial fort, and with my ability and a very good hand of maneuvers, i was able to search for the core reversals that stopped his early fort. Ended the game with A spirited turn of events. Finally my first win!

Match 5 vs. John Laurinaitis
wow, really struggled in this game, but through shock the world, along with a few reversals, manage to hit about 18F. used the hulkster to pick up when there's a will, there's a way, only for it to be reversed. manage to survive another turn when i reversed on the overturn. Used Hulkamania runs wild on you to search for when there's a will, there's a way (back in my arsenal due to gone - not forgotten) and played it for the win, with 5 cards left in my arsenal!

Match 6 vs. Ryback
made a good start in the match due to a good hand and manage to get in some early fort. after i ran out of reversals, ryback came back with some momentum cards (his antics, and arm breaker and rib breakers effects) and almost lost. took a count out win after getting back spirited turn of events from my ringside with hulkster.

Match 7 vs. Shield
Steamrolled the shield early in the match and got him to one card left. on that turn, after drawing, shield mounted one of the greatest comeback i've seen, and in fact could have won. I reversed his maneuver with the last card of my arsenal but the shield chose not to take a count out win. used the hulkster to take back a spirited turn of events and pinned him with it. Very very lucky win here.

Match 8 vs. Andre
really tough game for me. andre played just one pre-match: previously unannounced match, and limited my mid match to one. none of my antics got in, and he even reversed my take it and like it with My Way, completely shutting out my mid match. had to get fort with reversals, and playing double leg takedown and wrist lock (2d core, and as andre was packing the hybrid reversals style, but with the reversal mostly 4d or higher). Struggled to 16f. used the hulkster and picked up when theres a will, theres a way and won with 4 cards left in my arsenal.

Match 9 vs. Wyatt Family
this deck is one of my deck weakness as it had a lot of hybrid reversals which i couldn't fight through, and with filling in the blanks and Wyatt's ability, Wyatt had a huge hand, and i knew that he probably a few antic reversals hiding in there. lost the match even after trying to sustain my deck through bow and arrows (some were reversed, some weren't). idea here was try and recover enough cards to risk a when there's a will, there's a way without dying from the aggression rule.

This tourney had the biggest turnout so far (for revo at least) and im pleased to see that revo has gotten some interest! this could not have been possible without the great work done by Keith!

Another amazing note is that despite having a limited pool of superstars for this tourney, there was no repeat superstar, and it is really nice to see people try out different superstars that initially looks hard to built but turned out to be really great decks. I thought that the Rhyno deck was an absolute beast and i really didn't know it had such a huge potential.

Tournament Reports / SG Fastlane VR Tourney Report

Thank you keith for hosting this tourney. It's our biggest revo tourney in a long time and limiting the superstars to only VR4 saw some really good and interesting builds. With the exception of swagger, a lot of focus was on core maneuvers especially with bryan, carlito and ziggler. VR4 still has many interesting options to explore, especially with some of the extra support received in VR5 (Jericho with his new pre and Henry with Filling in the blanks especially). Here's my tourney report:

Really bad tourney for swagger. It's art imitating life as most of the match ups started off well but lost momentum in the middle and eventually got beaten down. Too many follow-ups in the deck led it to be over reliant on Double Leg Lock Crab mid-game.

Loss: Game 1 v WWWYKI (Brock)
Bad hand, and really bad luck. Brock hit 6 cores all the way through with no reversals even on the overturn. Game ended very quickly.

Win: Game 2 v JY (Brock, yes two Brocks)
Much better hand. Manage to gain some fort early and was able to keep his maneuvers at bay. Transition hold into an indian deathlock for the win

Win: Game 3 v Sheila (Carlito)
Went exactly like game two, with the exact same finish i think.

Loss: Game 4 v Daniel (Kofi)
Started off really well, but couldn't draw into the right reversals and got hit with cores to death.

Loss: Game 5 v Vincent (Dolph)
No reversals again. My soaring big boot got stopped by the only card possible at that time, It's no big deal. Also, Vincent dropped MITB as his first pre-match too and my ric flair in my corner was useless. Mini come back with swagger's mid match. Died when Ziggler reversed with a Zig-Zag.

Loss: Game 6 v Keith (D. Bry)
Started off really well, with space mountain punch (ric aas in my corner!) and soaring big boot into a workin on the knee. As mentioned, over reliance on double leg lock crab made it hard to gain fort mid game and eventually lost.

And with that Jack leaves WWE with none of his swagger left

Just wanted to experiment a little and this is a deck I came up with at the top of my head.
RP Chest x2, Your Destiny is Mine, recover 5 cards every time flying kick goes in (assuming you got 3 target: Chest) or opponent mills 4 when he reverses a Flying Kick. Try as much to reverse from arsenal, recovering using RP Chest and Your Destiny is Mine.

I have yet to test this deck out, seems really fun though.

Hi, this is my deck from the 1st Revo Tourney i attended in Singapore, i need serious help in the reversals department. i have already made a few changes from the deck i used in the tourney to include more mean and colossal reversals

The goal of this deck is to keep hitting non-extreme means, with 4ever no mercy and new breed, he discards one and overturns 4. With RP Leg to help me cycle my maneuvers, and to keep up my hand for my ability, it was pretty good, but i guess i played against just a small pool of players to conclude anything

any improvements/suggestions will be appreciated :)
