I have a not-so-good history with the game.

Long story short, if you get deep into the game, NEVER CHANGE YOUR DEVICE FOR ANY REASON IF YOU WANT TO PROGRESS!

Also, the Customer Service peeps for the game are crap.

#514/643 Test or Freakzilla? (D) (RUMBLE PACK FOIL note: NO Superstar Logo)
Raw Enforcer
Can only be revealed if your Superstar card says you can reveal an Enforcer card.
•   Starting Hand Size: +2
Superstar Value: +2
Superstar Ability: + Before your Draw Segment, your opponent discards # cards, where # is equal to the number of cards he has in his hand greater than the number of cards in your hand +2.
•   Starting Hand Size: +8
Superstar Value: +4
Superstar Ability: + Once during each of your turns, you may discard 2 cards and your next Maneuver card played this turn is -8F. You cannot play more than 2 maneuvers per turn.

Also for note, this is the MRP on the Test/Steiner enforcer.  It no longer has the reduced Pre-Match requirement for Stacy.

Just an FYI.

Hasn't a Midwesterner won Worlds 3 of the past 5 years, including the past 2 years straight?
Also, wasn't it HELD earlier this month in Indianapolis, Indiana; or, the Midwest?  At least I thought it was, unless I got drugged again.  Tell me I wasn't drugged.

There's no need for the Midwest to try and reclaim something it already has.

As long as one of the moves types is restricted, said superstar cannot pack it.

Example:  Junkyard Dog cannot pack Submissions or High Risks.  He can't pack Rolling Headlock Vise because it is a Grapple + Submission.

Congratulations Rated SRH! Carry the torch loud and proud!

Also, thank you to the entire RDPC and the players for keeping the tradition of this awesome game going. (TEN YEARS NOW - with no signs of stopping!)

I haven't been able to make it to GenCon for a few years now, but I did get to hang out with Evil Dave and some other former Raw Dealers yesterday in Columbus, OH. I'll be attending GenCon for sure next year, and I hope to run in to all of you there!

So you were out in my area while I was out in Indy?
Next time you're headed that way, let me know so I can see if I can finally play your MMA game.

On a side note, it was a long time coming for Scott H, but he finally took that last step and won the whole thing.

Also, let us not forget that Almos made top 4 and he should get recognized as well.

Joker using triple Andre and still got to top 4 as well, good on you.

Finally, John P came so close to being a 3-time, but also going the distance in Supershow.

Overall, even with fewer numbers, we all learned some things and the people who are playing are still loyal.

Uh, I think I need to point this out before things are final.

Emma was never a cast member of Total Divas.  She was only supporting cast.

So I decided to do a test run on all of the equipment this morning (another sleepless night, nothing new there).  While testing, I ran into a giant hiccup that may ruin the whole idea.

My webcam can only output at 720p.   :'(

Beyond that, the computer, wi-fi spot (no, you won't get the password), external speakers, both microphones (handheld and Blue Snowball), and the 720p output of the webcam are all operating at working condition.
It is all back on Mitch and Scott to determine what platform the stream will happen.

General Discussion: Raw Deal / Re: Any stores in NYC?

I arrive on the Thursday and leave on the Wednesday. I got tickets to the 4 wwe shows during that weekend in mid August. Not sure how much down time I'll have as I was hoping on doing some martial arts training at some specific dojos in NYC.

I can't be up that weekend ( :'(, and I was trying to get it off too), but that last bit of specific Dojos did get my attention.
Specifically, where were you planning to train?

Yes, I know I'm going off topic.

Do I need to do mthe shill, again, for Supershow at this point.

If you're headed to Gen Con, find the SRG Universe booth and ask for a demo.
If you're not, I encourage you to still look into it.

Well, it falls into the same issue:  the non-TB Premier WWF/WWE Superstar is blank.

Raw Deal Online / Re: LackeyCCG Errors/Updates
« on: July 13, 2018, 03:21:40 PM »
I'm attempting to setup Lackey, and when using the updatelist.txt from, it says ERROR!: Unable to download a valid updatelist.txt

Any help with this would be most helpful.

If you are having that issue, you should download the .zip ile and follow those instructions.
Sometimes that .text file doesn't work right and LackeyCCG can't read it.

I'm amazed that people are still playing this game.  Well done to everyone that is keeping it alive!  I'll be at GenCon this year, but unfortunately you all will just have to wait at least another year before I make my long anticipated return to the Raw Deal World Championships (It's been a looong time).

You should join the raw deal discord group and get lackey up and running on pc to play online.

Or, at the very least, swing out and give a quick "hi" to everyone.  Most of the TVO guys are nice in real life; that one guy with the long hair and hat, though....

1.  Funyuns are not chips.
2.  A Hot Dog is not a sandwich
3.  Egg came first.
4.  PC, preferably a Linux OS (I can accept Open SUSE).  Avoid any Apple products at all costs.
5.  Gatoraide; Poweraide is too thick when the body isn't 100%
6.  Between a Bat and a Knife, it depends on the damage you want to do.  If you're not looking to drop a m**********r dead but want him to have some permanant damage, go with the Bat (seriously, it can break bones long before the bat will snap); on the other hand, if you want a quick kill, knife.
7.  DC Comics, Marvel Movies.

Quick question for folks: has anyone had their order sent to them yet? The GenCon website says fulfillment began this past Sunday, but my badge and tickets have not been sent at this time.

Also, me and some FFTCG players are going to be going to Rathskeller the Wednesday before GenCon, because I've found that many of them share my love of beer. If anyone wants to meet up there, let me know and I'll let you know when we're there.

They mail them out alphabetically by first name, usually hitting a few hundred (200-300) each business day.  I'm on the latter end so I get mine early-to-mid-July.
The Friends of Gen Con Facebook group is usually the best indicator of where they are as they come in; you should join the group anyway to keep up to date on important things (like the I-65 construction project downtown).

If you don't get it immediately, it's not a big deal.  However, if we get to mid-July and you haven't seen a shipping number show up yet, you should start asking questions and getting in contact with Customer Service.

As for that meet-up, maybe.  I don't drink, but I do game, so if games are happening, keep me informed; otherwise, it's the Stink at Union Station again for me.

Just not worth it, sorry.  It happens, some miss the boat, right time right place, etc.

I would Imagine the crew put them like they do the Human Oddities and that they weren't around long enough or did anything truly important to warrant their inclusion.

Still doesn't mean we can't raise our voices; I still want my Oddities.

Or, you don't pack Beer, Cards, and More Beer.  At this point, as discussed a lot on Discord, making things harder to reverse is almost making it easier to reverse; and a 20F (after the Backstage Card's reduction); it's all of the weak-sauce.  I wouldn't pack it, and if you decide to simply because it's an APA card, that's on you.

Another thought, you don't pack all the staples; i.e., most people build and play around Road to Victory anymore so it doesn't hit much besides Backfire and Ready to Fight.  I know Creed doesn't half the time.

Just think of it as a card they still can't play to get a few extra Unques for now.

Give it time (maybe a year) for some of those superstars on the list to change.

I think most of us arrive on Wednesday at some point.

If you are going to be downtown, you should try to go to the Stink on Wednesday night.  Beyond that, that day is usually preparing for the chaos that is Gen Con.

Don't forget the tired and true method of copy and paste onto a new word/libreword/openword document and doing it that way.

Going and working at said Supershow both (both #1155) for the majority of the time.

I might be the only one not wearing the "official" company stuff, but you never know.

Also noted on Discord:

I got the win over the Monkey

Virtual Raw Deal / Re: Flawless Execution
« on: May 30, 2018, 08:14:49 AM »
In a word: No.

It doesn't see how many types that the card has it is still one maneuver being played and that is all Flawless Execution cares about.
TCO could make a move that's all 10 Maneuver types and Flawless Execution sees one maneuver and puts one at the bottom.

Good man
I'll be at the SRG tables (wherever they decide to place it) until close to time.  If needed, I'll be having to swing out to get some coffee beforehand as well.

If anyone else decides to go that Friday night, we need to mert-up and get a table together.

Virtual Raw Deal / Re: 2018 Revision Discussion
« on: May 23, 2018, 08:39:34 AM »
Rated RKO doesn't have the text that storylines are not replacing their ability anymore? So if I'm Not Yout Damn Role Model replaces Rated RKO ability, wouldn't their original ability be kicked out and there's no need to blank/unblank storylines anymore?

Rated RKO
Starting Hand Size: 5     Superstar Value: 5
Tag Team Superstar Ability:  You may add the Revolution logo to this card's title.
Your Storyline cards are blank; during each of your Draw Segments, choose 1 Storyline card in your Ring, it is not blank until your next Draw Segment.
Your Superstar-specific maneuvers with Momentum do not have it.
You can pack Edge or Randy Orton cards that are Unique and have only 1 Superstar logo, and You Think You Know Me.
You cannot pack Corner cards.

As I think they planned it, you get one storyline each turn and then it kicks off after your opponent's turn.  But as it is worded now, not only would that storyline completely replace the ability to kick it off, but it also makes the superstar-specifics have momentum again.
It might be worth adding in that the storyline adds to your ability.

Just hoping it was simply because it isn't needed:  Is the image for <R> Rated RKO also going to reflect the changes in this revision?
