Frankie Takes Ho-llywood stops it stone cold dead. Yet another mark for Frankie's card not sucking more than a black hole!
Thanks for the mark, but I am hard pressed to find one prematch card that sees less play than that Frankie card.. Making a post in case my account gets purged.

Property investment. Took a loan, though I had to come out with the initial 20% as downpayment. Won't see returns till at least 4 years later...

Hey guys,
I know I said I'm coming to Gencon 2012.
However, an impulse $750,000 purchase has left me high and dry without any cash left. As such I think the chances of me appearing at Gencon 2012 is very rare (unless I strike the lottery etc).
Was really looking forward to meeting you all...
I'll rebuild my finances, and hopefully the delayed trip will take place not too long in the future.
Regards to all Frankie Ho

Congrats on breaking the streak.
Its my dream for a route 66 roadtrip. Still getting people, but initial plans are these:
Your place: Gencon: Route 66 to LAX- fly home
Alternatively, a long shot: Gencon: your place: Get my Masters degree: fly home
Can I have your birthdate?

I heard about your luck last time I was there.
I read the basics of fengshui before. You may want to do something around your house to bring in luck. LMK if you are interested

That's my abbreviated .02 on the subject, as someone who has traveled North America for the love of games. (One day I will travel the world. My goal is to make it off the continent.)
Singapore is waiting for you. Raw deal is still alive here

Thanks for worry about it, but here in Santiago we are all cool! and the picture is BEAUTIFUL!
Now all we have to do is wait for someone to find a face in the picture and proclaim it a miracle/ satanic event

Pack 14 heel cards in Backlash deck and 51 heel cards in main deck.

Gencon is in mid Aug, so I will probably be there with a friend or 2 for the road trip across route 66.
Estimated arrival date is mid July- Vegas- Grand canyon- Route 66- Chicago- Winnipeg- Gencon
May be earlier as I plan on staying more than 1 day at Brian's house. At least to gorge myself on Onion rings...
May also stay on after Gencon, maybe a return trip to Jasper/ Rocky mountains/ Seattle (lovely place)/ Portland... Maybe buy a house...

Hi guys,
I'm currently planning a roadtrip in 2012, which will end with Gencon 2012.
My destinations are Route 66, the grand canyon/ vegas, somewhere..., GENCON 2012.
And Antigoth, your house is/ will be/ confirmed to be/ assured to be one of the stops. Maybe we'll drive down to Gencon together
Now can someone familiar with the country help to think of the following:
Car rental- Which company is cheap and allows interstate travel?
Route: Assume I reach Las Vegas as my first stop (Hoover dam/ Grand canyon) Travel along route 66 to Chicago (1 week? 2 weeks?) Chicago (Deep dish pizza/ cookies and cream) ...? ...? ...? Brian's house (Winnipeg/ Onion rings/ Butter tarts) Gencon 2012, Indianapolis (MADNESS)
Also, I will start to book hotels for Gencon 2012. I believe in being prepared. Any suggestions on cheap/ near? I think the room is just something to keep the bags and shower. Sleep is optional.

I wish I were there. It's been sunny the whole day. Except for a cooling shower in the afternoon. I wish I can wear thick winter clothing like you guys.
