My biggest want:

It's not going to happen because he doesn't originate from a video game BUT he WAS in a video game and is a huge key part of Nintendo history:

I think his art style, animations and attack possibilities are perfect for Smash.

As for Square-Enix having another representative? I'd like to see The Dragon Warrior or Mog, honestly.

If it HAD to be a FF character I can't bet against Cid being an option but I'd personally choose Kefka, hands-down.

Just picked it up and can’t wait. Some things to do around the house before digging into it.

The Joker Persona 5 announcement came out of left field and now it really feels like anyone can be in this game.

Not "just anyone", they have to specifically be video game characters, not just characters who have eventually been in a video game.

I'm already excited for an alternate Super Star card with bubbly Emma in the forefront and evil Emma in the background.

I see Konnor of the Acension and I cannot un-see a jacked up version of Colt Cabana.

It's a time-sink for sure. Andre the Giant was my favorite for a long-time, he has a power slam that changes multiple gems of your choice to red so you can easily drop someone once that move hits.

Fantasy Cards / Re: Last Man Standing Match

A printed member of the Million Dollar Corporation wouldn't mind that card at all.

Man that leaves just Bret from the Hart Foundation of the 90's still around.

Talk about a sad family story. The Hart family story is less tragic than the Von Erichs, but really only because they lived longer. They are still all dying pretty young.  :-\

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Stu Hart was anywhere close to as much of an asshole as Fritz von Erich was. Fritz shamelessly exploited the passing of David von Erich's death to promote a supercard, which is downright scummy. He also told Kevin von Erich that the only reason he was still alive while his brothers were all dead was because Kevin wasn't man enough to kill himself.

JESUS. I never knew any of that, good lord.

"WWE is saddened to learn that Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart passed away.

Best known as the powerhouse of the legendary Hart Foundation tag team with his brother-in-law, Bret “Hit Man” Hart, Jim Neidhart was also the father of current WWE Superstar Natalya.

Neidhart began his ring career after playing professional football with the Oakland Raiders and Dallas Cowboys. He was trained by WWE Hall of Famer Stu Hart in the infamous Hart Dungeon in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and earned his ring nickname, The Anvil, after winning an anvil throwing contest.

Neidhart married Stu's daughter, Ellie, to become a member of the legendary Hart Family before making the move to WWE along with Bret "Hit Man" Hart, Dynamite Kid and Davey Boy Smith when WWE purchased Stu Hart’s Calgary Stampede Wrestling.

Initially, Neidhart and Hart were managed by Jimmy Hart as The Hart Foundation and went on to win two WWE World Tag Team Championships.

After several years of teaming with Bret’s younger brother, Owen Hart, and some singles competition, The Hart Foundation was re-formed in controversial fashion in 1997. Consisting of Neidhart, Bret, Owen, Smith and Brian Pillman, the pro-Canadian faction stirred United States crowds into a frenzy with their anti-American sermons.

Neidhart last competed in WWE in 1997 but his legacy lives on today through his daughter, Natalya, who displays her father’s signature charisma and toughness every time she steps in the ring.

WWE extends its condolences to Neidhart’s family, friends and fans."

It has to be Roll Out of the Ring specifically.

According to reports: Brian Christopher AKA Grand Master Sexay has passed away following a suicide attempt while in a Memphis jail following a DUI arrest.

We also lost the great Nikolai Volkoff.

Sad, sad day.

Rants Forum / Re: Enzo Amoré is Innocent!
« on: July 01, 2018, 10:24:12 PM »
Yes that is very true guys... there is a chance Enzo is guilty, but I personally believe he is more likely innocent... the police love to make examples of celebrities for multiple reasons.. but I think if they had found even a shred of truth to the known drug addict's accusations, they would have pursued.... but ultimately we will never know 100%

Now take a Fan Favorite like Booker T, whose career I have enjoyed and even Harlem Heat, especially since he comes from my hometown of Houston, as well as Taker of course..... BUT Booker was indicted, tried, and CONVICTED of multiple aggravated robberies here in Houston, specifically the fast food chain of WENDY's, one such incident where one of his accomplice's guns went off which shot and maimed a little girl eating with her parents... Now Booker T went to prison for that, and when he got out his brother Stevie Ray got him into wrestling and saved his life... and now Booker T is running for Mayor of Houston in 2019!
So there is a prime example of a man doing despicable things, but he turned his life around and became a legendary wrestler and we forgive him and he has virtual cards on TCO as well as a complete Harlem Heat team made too.... So I fail to see how some "allegations" against Enzo disqualifies him from being part of Raw Deal?

Kobe Bryant had a trial and everything for the same thing... he was found innocent, went back to the NBA and won 3

In the end, I guess every person will decide for themselves what they want to believe and who they want to support.

Enzo Amore was a fan favorite, turned heel, who was great on the mic and great at drawing heat... maybe not a great wrestler, but it's obvious he carried SAWFT and made 205 LIVE popular, because Big Cass is completely irrelevant without him and been released last month by WWE... but at least WWE sold a heck of a lot of "merch" before they sacrificed the flash-in-the-pan to preserve their PR image, lol

I guess we are all subject to "guilty until proven innocent" in the American court of public opinion of haters.... not completely sure of the judicial system in Canada to make a witty comparative statement, lol

No kinda means no. Just drop it and save yourself the time.

Posting this for a discord user (Dizzy), had me questioning it:

The Total Package
Starting Hand Size: 6     Superstar Value: 3
WWF Superstar Ability: Your cards cannot be modified by non-Backstage card effects or your opponent's Ability.
You may pack No Sell Maneuver cards and Lex Luger cards, replace "dynamic" with "BASH" in their text, and they are WWF cards instead of WCW or nWo cards.

Interviewed by Mean Gene Okerlund
Pre-match Event
Cannot be blanked.
Cannot be packed by Cryme Tyme, Eddie Guerrero, Eugene, Mr. Pay-Per-View, and The Home Team, or when packing Revolution WWE Cruiserweight Title Belt or a card with 'no escape' or 'salary' in the title.
When packing this card, your cards listed on this card are Unique, Permanent, and ignore the "Can only be played..." text.
Your opponent cannot respond to your Good Things Sometimes Happen, Offer Handshake, Turn the Tide, Turn Up the Heat, Well-Deserved Push, and Who Booked This Match? cards.
F: 0     D: 0     Unique     Permanent

Can I pack this in The Total Package to get the benefits without my cards becoming unique and permanent per his ability?

A hot dog is totally a sandwich. It's meat sandwiched between bread. The fact that the bread has a hinge doesn't matter. Half the time the buns splits anyway.

Ladies and gentleman of TCO, I beg of you to answer this one question that Dizzy and I argued about for over a hour last night:

Are Funyuns chips?

Yes, they are sold in the chip aisle and yes they are sold in a bag. I say NO, they are NOT chips.

But they aren't Goldberg specific, thus his ability blocks it automatically. Superstar Specific and Goldberg specific are two different beasts, no?

Rules Forum / Re: Lone Warrior Question
« on: June 24, 2018, 09:38:47 AM »
Yeah, sorry, I didn't reply because Hurricane totally nailed it with his answer. Superstar-specific is a different concept than (Superstar name)-specific, and being the former doesn't include or guarantee the latter.

Understood. My confusion arose from the "including factions" text in his ability, which is pointless text because he can't pack them anyway.

I'm all for showing love to forgotten superstars like The Oddities but man...they weren't around longer than 9 months and were awful in the ring.

Very classey response by the 'E.

Sad, although to me, with his weight and health issues, I'm not surprised and kind of suspected this day would come sooner than later.  Hopefully he able to enjoy that extra time.

He just had heart surgery a few months ago and was looking to return to the ring one day. He passed just like Dizzy's grandfather, via a severe case of pneumonia. It was just too much on his heart.

Professional Wrestling Discussion / Big Van Vader passes away
« on: June 20, 2018, 09:39:44 AM »

A sad day indeed.

"WWE is saddened to learn that Leon White, better known to WWE audiences as Vader, passed away Monday night at the age of 63.

White began his sports-entertainment career in the mid-1980s after retiring from the NFL due to injury. He rose to national prominence in Verne Gagne’s American Wrestling Association before joining New Japan Pro Wrestling as the masked Big Van Vader. He went on to become one of the promotion’s biggest stars and most feared competitors.

Vader then transitioned to World Championship Wrestling, where he would make the biggest mark of his career. He engaged in memorable rivalries with the likes of Sting and Ron Simmons, becoming a dominant, three-time WCW World Champion in the process.

In 1996, Vader joined the WWE roster, where he squared off against Superstars such as Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker. He also found success on the small screen with a recurring guest role on the popular 1990s television program, “Boy Meets World.”

WWE extends its condolences to White’s family, friends and fans."

Rules Forum / Re: Lone Warrior Question
« on: June 20, 2018, 04:44:45 AM »
No. Superstar specific and Goldberg-specific are considered 2 different things, and his ability specifically says Goldberg-specific.

The factions you talk about specifically say they can be packed that way.

The factions have to state that because they have Superstar logos on them.
