I enjoyed playing as Bobby Heenan with the Michael Cole enforcer. It just works so well.

Don't Try This at Home says right in the text of the card that it moves the ACE card from your ring. In that case yes Collegiate Champs would trigger.

Other reversals don't necessarily move it.

I can give an update of sorts:

Scott Mackie (CRASHER) is your 2019 Raw Deal World Champion! He beat Brian Paolercio (BigPimpin) in the finals to claim the championship.

Yeah I probably should have posted this, but that would come off as bragging

Congratulations to the best in the WOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRR RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRLD!........AND NEW RAW DEAL WORLD CHAMPION!.....Scott Mackie!

Not to mention that if I was looking at this Road Dogg and the original one I'd probably just choose the original 10 times out of 10.

Good article. Only thing I want to point out though is the Macho Jabs are not protected by the A Method to the Madness like it says on here since it's a hybrid maneuver card.

Like I said though it was a good read, and opened my mind more on the Madness!

I'm going to guess based on this ruling on Test in the OmniFAQ that you can, but I could be wrong. I just thought it was a similar situation.

-He cannot pack any other Pre-match cards, including those with RMS.  They cannot be packed in his Backlash deck, with the exception of Backstage Shenanigans, since it can be packed as a Mid-match card.

HOWEVER, that still doesn't allow you to pack them as a pre-match card so if you already have 10 Mid-Match, you could only fill out your last couple Mid-Match slots which would bring you to your limit of 12.

Still even though it can be Elbowed it's not a bad card if you hit it early.

Plus the drawing/recovery mechanic is pretty solid. Remember kids, not every card was made to be a game breaker!  ;)

I thought it was pretty good. Had a touch of nostalgia from the attitude era to kick it off, and Becky vs. Charlotte.....just from the sheer brutality for a women's match probably was as good as Sasha/Bailey at Takeover a few years ago. I kinda wish they would have just had those 2 main event, because the Ronda/Bella story line was lame and I could tell this even without watching Raw or Smackdown the last month.  :P

Classic Raw Deal / Re: World Championship deck lists year by year

I'm pretty sure when the official Raw Deal website shut down recently all the decklists from about 2006 and earlier went with it. Not sure what is all on here though, we've been through a few forum changes since the original run of Raw Deal ended many many moons ago.  ;)

Am I reading the Pre-Match wrong or are you only packing 11?

No I counted 11 Pre-Match and only 12 mid-match.

To the original poster Remember HBK can pack 2 extra pre-match and 2 extra mid-match cards along with the 15 extra arsenal cards.

I'm just going to respond with this.

That is kinda funny though.

Man that leaves just Bret from the Hart Foundation of the 90's still around.

Talk about a sad family story. The Hart family story is less tragic than the Von Erichs, but really only because they lived longer. They are still all dying pretty young.  :-\

Classic Raw Deal / Re: Virtual All Axxess, do you play it?
« on: August 10, 2018, 07:37:33 AM »
I haven't played much in the last way too many years, but I always thought there was just way too much to account for to be able to build even a semi-fun deck in the format. I thought combining the 2 back in the CI days was pretty much the death bell for the original game, you know besides WWE pulling the plug.

Don't forget Facebuster too. Ring General TB makes it a 0F 10D grapple, which isn't a bad thing!

Here's a completely untested Dolph Ziggler deck, that probably won't ever be tested by me at least, but it looks ok on paper....kinda.  :P

3 Twisted Smile
No Sweat!
No Fear, No Doubt, All in, Balls Out!

Alright the trick to this deck is simple. You want to make sure during the Pre-Match you play Burn it to the Ground AND Abraham Washington. First turn you drop #HEEL. All your Raw Actions become Multi. Obviously if you want to modify the deck you COULD abuse Multi Ratings Boosters /JR Style Actions/Forceable Entry/Where's the Payoff too by socking either one from your ring under We Burn it Down, and Abe Washington works again! There's definitely a better way to do it, but this is a rough outline of what I'm looking at.

Note: If you face a Legend with Legendary Defense OR someone who can pack No Sell you want to drop Excuse Me to grab Ref Bump! Gotta get that fortitude! However that's about the only reason I can see using it, as there's no ONE action in this deck that takes over a game.

Just don't pack Legendary Assistance if you play as the King of Kings/Legend HHH That's illegal, because he can't pack Run-In cards.  ;)

Actually I would argue that Calling You Out coming out in the IAATG tin actually was a big development, because when you combined that with Old School Wrestling Match, you had some major disruption. Especially back in the days of the smaller Backlash deck.

« on: June 22, 2018, 08:31:25 PM »
Yeah, sorry, I didn't reply because Hurricane totally nailed it with his answer. Superstar-specific is a different concept than (Superstar name)-specific, and being the former doesn't include or guarantee the latter.

Which is pretty amazing considering how long I've been out of the game, but I guess I still remember some stuff from the old days!  ;)

Quick Count Ref might be a sneaky pack too if you can find room for it.

Rules Forum / Re: Lone Warrior Question
« on: June 19, 2018, 05:23:32 PM »
No. Superstar specific and Goldberg-specific are considered 2 different things, and his ability specifically says Goldberg-specific.

The factions you talk about specifically say they can be packed that way.

I'm going to guess Ronda will have something to do with Judo and Shoot moves along with arm bars!  :P

I'm kinda surprised there's no Grab the Mic TBs and Bait Opponent's. Scott Hall can be a very good plunge deck.

Actually you don't draw your hand until the end of the Pre-Match phase.

I'd suggest Legendary Defense in your Backstage Area, and one copy of Step Aside, Escape Move, and Break the Hold in your arsenal personally. That's just one thing I noticed. I'll take a better look later.
