Braun ability says his opponents effects can not lower the damage of his maneuver and Brock Lesnar ability says my opponents strikes do a maximum of 3 damage, does Braun override Brock?

Braun overrides Brock

Classic Lesnar. Shows up, works 5 minutes, leaves.

How do these two effects interact?

Pure & Wholesome
Backstage Card
Cannot be packed by Gail Kim.
When your opponent would look at your hand or Backlash, you may flip 1 card in your Ring face-down, and then he does not look and you do not discard or move cards from your hand or Backlash for that effect.
You cannot look at his hand.  When you would choose cards from his hand, choose twice as many random cards instead.

Where the Big Boys Play
Pre-match Allegiance: WCW
Can be played regardless of The Boogeyman’s Ability.
When you put a WCW card into your Ring, your opponent discards 1 card.
When played by a WCW Superstar, you may search your Arsenal for 2 cards and put them under this card, then shuffle.
Once during each of your turns, you may put the bottom card of your Arsenal under this card.
ACE:  Once during each of your turns, when it is not your first turn of the game and you have lower Fortitude, you may remove 2 cards under this card from the game; then look at his hand, choose 2 reversals, and they cannot be played in response to the next maneuver played this turn.

Superstar guide is the correct answer. Image will be updated to reflect this come revisions.

Woah den cornette is even lousier den he already is.
Not perm, can flip, can blank & such a big cost to ace when he has no drawing power🤔.
An ability tat contradicts itself for goin chain & nthin to negate oswm tb🤔. Guess going heat stall is probably the only viable way & just concede when yr opponent plays oswm tb👍

Cornette has been testing by various people playing various ways. There are methods to flip cards back over, unblank it and so on. Lots of decks do poorly against OSWM as well, doesn't mean he is a lousy Superstar.

Lols every thing u said i already knew. I did formed him both aggro & stall, the conclusion is still heat stall is the best without much use of louiseville lips. If u have to count on unblankin, flipping & putting louiseville back into yr ring. Honestly it's really a waste of time & personally the cost is too high for a ss with low drawing power & becos u are going chain, discard 2 every turn for chain action search via chain trait is already keepin yr hand tiny. Sure goin technical with bbd tb/ icbrtr can help, but cage match shuts u down.
Worst case is the contracting ability tat allows opp to overturn two when hand is 4-, which means hand deduction strategy which is bread & butter of all chain decks is not gonna work thus oso meaning yr impt actions tat counts may nv hit the ring.

Ok, u guys probably won't care what i say/feedback anyway, so yup. Btw lacey win requirements is kind of unattainable since by default u nd at least 38 turns. & most stall decks dun even go 38 turns. #howmanytimesdiduseentherevised12roundsbeenactivated?

Everyone has draw power with Evening up the Odds. And Corny w/ midnight's could also use Parts unknown, With blank grapples and the high risks from ringside are also blank.

« on: January 07, 2020, 11:54:23 AM »
So how do I become apart of an allegiance? Are there cards that make you apart of an allegiance or if I'm say Sting and I'm a wcw superstar can I just automatically say I'm allegiance WCW when playing Where the big boys play?

When an allegiance Pre-Match card is in your ring, you are considered to have that allegiance. Simply being a WCW superstar does not grant you that allegiance.

You also do not have to be a WCW superstar to play the WCW allegiance.

Are Lex Luger/Total Package any good? I've never made them, but they're another example of superstars tied to a specific build

Here are a few more I think could use a boost:

Carlito & Primo Colon - They get a free move... not very special anymore imo. Daniel Bryan does it better with even better support.

Gene Snitsky - I think this has more to do with Heat needing a boost than anything.

Paul Heyman - that 50 card arsenal really limits him.

Santino Marella - I've never built him, but he doesn't seem too good.

Viscera - He's missing something...

There are also a few superstars who I feel have no reason to be built over other superstars. Why build Wade Barrett when Samoa Joe exists? Why build the Legion of Doom over The Road Warriors? If that's off topic, feel free to ignore.

A while ago I posted my thoughts on Bam Bam Bigelow needing a boost. I'll insert my OG post here:

Let me preface this post by saying that this isn't an attack or criticism of the virtual team or anyone on TCO. This is mearly one players opinion.

I feel like there is no reason to play as Bam Bam Bigelow and he needs help. He's probably the least playable superstar from V4. His superstar ability costs too much for too little. Sure, he gets Million Dollar Corporation support, but those cards don't help him that much compared to the other members. His ability to make Cartwheel an omni reversal is his best quality, but his specific reversal makes cartwheel worse.

There are other superstars that do what he does, only better (Vader, Rusev, RVD, even someone like Big Pappa Pump can discount their cards at much less of a cost). And by the time you have enough stun value in your ring, you probably already have enough Fortitude to play the card anyway. I know Bigelow can discount any CARD, but a lot of actions don't make it into a lot of decks due to the fear of OSWM.

His first maneuver is all but guaranteed to get Restricted Use/Reach Exceeds Your Grasp, if not reversed regularly from hand.

Why restrict his volley maneuvers with Asbury Park? Bookerman has a much more powerful ability to protect his volley moves, and much better support. Bam Bam feels restricted to Tech Drop Kicks, DLB, and a few high risks. It's very hard to get started with him.

Bigelow's specific cards are decent, but not all THAT great, and he doesnt have many.

I think if Bigelow got an ECW Backstage card, it would make his MUCH more playable. He could pack house that hardcore built, discount his Foreign Objects (a lot of which have stun value), then his Ability would help more and earlier, and he wouldn't take non-unique damage to his FO's.

Again, I only bring this up because you guys actually take player feedback into account. And I'm also willing to listen to other players who may have had a successful Bam Bam build.

TL;DR - Other people do Bam Bam better than Bam Bam and I feel there is no reason to choose Bigelow over those superstars.

How will Act like a Lady interact with cards like, Everybody Wants to Watch Women Wrestle? You are able to do both effects  at 0F eh?

Functions like Little She Devil. You play it, and then choose which effect when its successful. It resolves to its destination depending on which option you choose.

Rules Forum / Re: Enforcer APA hybrid actions? And FAQ damage?
« on: November 27, 2019, 03:35:54 PM »
APA or A-Train?
SmackDown! Enforcer
Can only be revealed if your Superstar card says you can reveal an Enforcer card.
• Starting Hand Size: +12
Superstar Value: +3
Superstar Ability: + Your maneuvers played from your hand are +1D. You cannot play non-unique Action cards from your hand.
• Starting Hand Size: +6
Superstar Value: +1
Superstar Ability: + Once during each of your turns, you may discard 1 card and then search your Arsenal for 1 non-unique card with the word "power," "bomb," or "slam" in the title, reveal it to your opponent, put it in your hand and shuffle your Arsenal. Your cards played with the word "power," "bomb" or "slam" in the title are -4F.
Only your maneuvers are given the +1D bonus when APA are your enforcer.

And yes, you may play hybrid action/reversals as a reversal.

The panic grab is technically played BEFORE the Submission that is played with it (clutch in this case). So opponent would not be able to play reversals to the Panic Grab, but he could play reversals to the clutch.

However, unless both the panic grab and the clutch are reversed, both become successful.

Ok thanks for the clarification.  Is it better to raw allegiance or wcw with Goldberg?

It all depends on your build, but also remember that you do not HAVE TO pack an allegiance

When this card is in any area: it is Chain when you have a Chain maneuver in your Ring, it is Heat when you have a Heat maneuver in your Ring, and it is BASH when you have a BASH maneuver in your Ring.
Shuffle up to 4 cards with any of those traits (including BASH), or that are Multi or Unique, from your Ringside into your Arsenal.
F: 12     D: 8     SV: 1     Unique     Multi

1. Is Bash a trait? I noticed that I couldn't find any cards in classic that say "BASH maneuver" or "BASH action", they all say "...with 'BASH' in the title". However, virtual has called then BASH maneuvers and BASH reversals and BASH actions.

2. I cannot search for this card when looking for a card with bash in the title, correct?

3. Is there a difference between "BASH maneuver" and "A maneuver with 'BASH' in the title?"

Giant Head Butt
Strike + Strike + Strike
This card requires 3 reversals to be reversed, instead of 2.
When successfully played, randomly discard 1 card. If that card’s Fortitude is an odd number, your opponent may search his Arsenal for 1 card, put it in his hand, and shuffle his Arsenal; if that card’s Fortitude has an even number, you may search your Arsenal for 1 card, put it in your hand, and shuffle your Arsenal.
SV: 2
F: 0      D: 10

The act of discarding occurs, Andre's headbutt looks at the Fortitude, the card is removed from the game. Andre's headbutt doesnt specify that the discarded card has to go into the ringside pile, and Witte Retort INSTEAD removes the discarded card from the game.

Andres head butt doesnt specify that the card has to go into the ringside pile in order to get the effect, so the card would work normally even if the discarded card is RFG instead.
