I don't have time to type explanatory paragraphs, but want to participate!

What Got Me Through 2020
Family (wife and two kids!)
Pokemon (started selling some old cards for big cash and collecting new cards I like)
Work (Financial Advisor, and I saw the entire spectrum of worst-hit to not affected)

What I Lost
Soccer (and most physical activity...)
Raw Deal in person (thankful for OCTGN!)

Hi, honky backstage & mikey got spirit are missing from both doc & pdf files

I see them in PDF 1, on the last page. Not sure if it's been updated since you posted.

Brackets have been updated!

We are awaiting two more results from Round 1, but both have been active in communicating, just having troubles lining up. Because active communication is occurring, we'll give them one more week - then if still no results, we may have to flip a coin.

Deck looks pretty solid. Just wanted to note that Apply Illegal Leverage does not have “reversed” in the text, so it’s 0F. No need to waste turns/prematch/mid match trying to get that 2F to bridge. Of course, if you are lower (or want to) you can still DLB into the combo. Beware of the card Old School Brawl. It really hurts the overall clutch/apply combo, especially if you lead that combo with a DLB.

TCO isn't free. There's a cost to keep these forums going and to host the Virtual cards. I figure since we're the ones benefiting from utilizing the Virtual cards, why not take this chance to give back...and host a tournament at the same time!

Here are the details:
1. Format: Virtual Classic
2. Games are to take place on OCTGN, the only online system that supports the entire VC library.
3. Single elimination, 16 player event. I'm capping at 16 to prevent 10 first round byes. Pairings will be generated randomly.
4. Pairings will be posted Monday and you have one week to complete your match-up. Failure to do so will result in double elimination. Please be aware of this before committing to the event. If you are the player unable to make times work, you may also forfeit.
5. Official results will be posted here, but feel free to use Discord too.
6. I don't want to track decklists, so feel free to use any superstar you wish each round. In the event of diversity, I suggest both re-picking superstars or rolling a D20 and loser switches superstars.
7. Cost: $5 in your local currency or US funds. I'm not picky, I'm sure Creeds not picky. If you want to donate more, that's also appreciated! Please donate here:
8. Prizing - I'll have a little something for the winner.

Please sign up below and round 1 will start Monday October 26!

You’ll want to scroll to the bottom of the FAQ, to the “Glossary” section for rules on the traits, handsizes, prematch order, etc.

I personally have to document saved to my desktop and reference it almost daily. Ctrl+F is your friend for quick searches.

I’m in.

Congrats niiiiick on the big win! Feel free to pick our prize and send me your address so I can mail that out. No guarantees that it makes it to you in 2020  ;D

Thanks to all participants for playing and a huge thanks for everyone for being able to keep it on time and getting your matches in!

This week we wrap up the inaugural Backlash Podcast Presents King of TCO Tournament with the finals consisting of Niiiiiiicks The Texas Rattlesnake vs Dilberts Arn Anderson. Both men are deserving of the title, but only one will claim it!

Good luck!

I currently have a mono-high risk The Revival built (despite their tagline No Flips, Just Fists), with Blindside Elbow Drops, Technical Stomps/Splashs and lots of Ready to Fight.

We are on to the Final Four! Best of luck gentlemen. You have one week!

Round 2 has wrapped up. We're into round 3 now. You have until Monday to get your matches in! I'll tag everyone with a pending match in Discord.

Round 1 is now officially over. You all have until next Monday morning to complete Round 2. Good luck participants!

Round one is complete! See updated bracket in main post.

Search user Eric RD. He has plenty of our events up there.

Query - If I have a bye and my second round opponent has a bye, and we wish to schedule our second round match for this week, can we do so or do you want us to wait until the next round opens?

Go for it, I've advanced the byes, so only two people have to await an outcome.

Round 1 Bracket has been posted at the bottom of the main page. Everyone was assigned a random number in Excel, then imported to the seeding bracket.

Due to numbers, 10 people get a first round bye. It was either that or have 12 people have a "qualifying match", both had the same result, so i just threw the byes in.

Contact your opponent and let's have fun crowning the first King of TCO!
