1. Ringside
2. No they dont
3. No, only blanks what's in the text box u less it says otherwise, like blank damage
4. Only +2 HS
5. Yes
6. Yes
7. Premiere takes from the top of arsenal, not ring
8. Yes, by the time their effect activates that card is in the ring, for something like MOD it counts itself
9. Unless you played a separate card prior to panic+move, they are at the same time so there hasnt been a successful move played before hand.
10. Not sure will defer to someone else
11. Same as above
12. Trait cannot be used for any move that has a can only be reversed restriction
13. I believe the potentiality rule says yes, but will defer
14. No damage, and not sure
15. No sidewalk slam TB only reverses cards that cannot be reversed, NOT cannot be reversed from hand, arsenal, etc.

Really depends on the actual card text, but most likely only 1 as you are only playing 1 card

And Im pretty sure he's asking even when the ACE is reversed on the original version. Because of the omniFAQ ruling that if the ACE is reversed, no stip can come back out on top and therefore cannot be activated again since you cannot fulfill the full cost of putting a stip underneath. So if that were to happen, if you had another Raw Roulette Wheel underneath it, could you activate the one underneath? (Correct me if I'm wrong rio)

Rules Forum / Re: Revo Dolph
« on: July 10, 2018, 10:09:58 AM »
So it can be reversed by 1 card that hits either a strike or assault? And since it doesnt carry over traits, if the core actually being played is non unique, it stays non unique and can be reversed as such, correct?

What if I flip the situation and reveal, say a Hold and then play Whirlwind kick? It's still multi and can be reversed as such but has to be reversed as if a hold for whatever damage the revealed card is as well?

Gotta support Iowa, go Mitch!!

Rules Forum / Revo Dolph
« on: July 09, 2018, 08:34:45 PM »
Won't be at Gencon sadly...but talking about it has peaked my VAA interest. What would happen with the below scenario:

Revolution Dolph Ziggler
Starting Hand Size: 6     Superstar Value: 4
Superstar Ability:  Once during each of your turns, when you have lower Fortitude and have not played any cards this turn, you may discard 1 non-Unique D: 2+ Core: your next Core played this turn must be reversed as if it has the discarded card's maneuver type and Damage instead, and cannot be reversed by non-hybrid non-Unique cards from hand.
You cannot pack Corners, and you cannot increase the damage of your Core maneuvers.

Revolution I Am Perfection
Pre-match: Event
Your opponent reverses a Core: draw up to 1 card.
Successfully play a Core: he reveals 2 random cards from hand.
When a non-Revolution card is in your Ring: you may discard Unique Cores for your Ability, and you may reveal it instead of discarding.
Unique     Permanent

Whirlwind Kick
Strike + Assault: Core
You may search for this card as if it was non-Unique.
Put up to 2 cards from your Ringside on the bottom of your Arsenal.
When you have a Revolution card in your Ring, this card is +4D and cannot be reversed by reversal cards greater than D: 2.
F: 0     D: 5    Unique     Multi     head

If playing VAA, and Dolph gets the "When a non-Revolution card is in your Ring: you may discard Unique Cores for your Ability, and you may reveal it instead of discarding." text from his Revolution I Am Perfection and reveals Whirlwind Kick, does the next core played become a multi Strike+Assault, or can it only adopt 1 of the move types?

Virtual Raw Deal / Re: reversal restrictions
« on: July 05, 2018, 05:57:11 AM »
Carlito CAN hit German IF the restriction on the card is active. As of right now, the ruling is if it has a printed restriction that is not active, Carlito wont hit it. Daeva has stated he is looking into the card so who knows what will happen from here, but that is the current ruling.

As far as reversal restriction, a few examples are Chain cards, cards with "cannot be reversed..." or "can only be reversed..." either in the text or added by other effects are reversal restrictions. Any card with an effect that restricts how, where from, or by what it can be reversed is a reversal restriction.

Eric would agree it's still very important lol

They made the choice to move on from making enzo quite a while ago, and have since continued to say they are looking forward to newer talent. You can keep asking, but will get the same answer.

Imo, dont really care if he makes it or not in RD...good on the mic, but that's about it.

Road to Victory?

Still my favorite classic champion card, and maybe the most impactful...Frankie could be up there too

Rules Forum / Cryme Tyme vs "end turn" effects
« on: June 28, 2018, 05:55:39 PM »
Cryme Tyme
Starting Hand Size: 5     Superstar Value: 1
Tag Team Superstar Ability:  Once during each of your turns, when you have not played any cards that turn and you play a non-Unique non-Multi action, you may also play a maneuver with blank text along with it.  Unless both cards are reversed when played, both are considered successfully played and both go into your Ring (unless it resolves elsewhere). Unless both cards are reversed, your turn continues.
You cannot pack any title belts except the Tag Team Title Belts.

Do cards like Road to Victory or Counter Strike end their turn even with their text?

But is a hotdog a sandwich?

Stop it...dont start that...but I guess since you insist, based on the definition (and how I eat my hot dogs), NO

an item of food consisting of two pieces of bread with meat, cheese, or other filling between them, eaten as a light meal.

I eat my hot dog on a bun which is ONE piece of bread that does not allow it to qualify as a sandwich

Just had one question from FunkCon come up that I'm not sure if we ruled correctly for the following:

Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely
Pre-match Event
Cannot be blanked.  Cannot be packed when packing Revolution cards.
Your Superstar-specific cards are -#F, where # is the number of non-Faction Superstar-specific cards in your Ring; when played, you may choose to blank the card until the end of the turn, and when they are unsuccessful, draw up to 1 card and your opponent puts 1 card from his hand on the bottom of his Arsenal.
Once during each of your turns, you may put 1 Superstar-specific card in your Ring under this card.
ACE: Once during each of your turns, you may remove 2 cards under this card from the game and then look at his hand, choose 1 card, and he puts the card on the bottom of his Arsenal.
F: 0     D: 0     Unique     Permanent

Does this blanking get around the "can only be played" text on their High Risks? The post I see that is closest would be Sin Caras Lucha which was ruled to not get around that requirement:,16037.msg187542.html#msg187542

Well, not *ever* ever, but not any time soon.

If we make an exception, we'll let you know, and it won't take the place of new talent that warrants addition to the game.

*cough**cough*christian legend*cough**cough* though you've probably heard that enough from eric I'm sure lol
