Superstar Spotlight: HHH

*Normally I do these Sunday and Tuesday however I'm going to be very busy this week & don't know how much I'll be on.

Alright guys, I've noticed a few new people joining TCO. So I'll give a brief explanation how this segment works. Twice a week I will be posting superstars by request. So if you are stumped on a deck, can't make it work or just curious simply message myself or Drew with your request.
These are done in order of request. So if it takes a week or so please be patient. We promise we will get to your request as fast as possible.

Please keep those requests coming. Today's is another 'request' in Triple H!!!!!


1.)  How viable is this superstar?
2.)  Is there a Superstar Specific Card that you'd like to spotlight? 
3.)  How have you built said superstar?  How did it work out?
4.)  How well does the Superstar fare in whichever format you built them in be it VC/VAA/NXT/VR/Non-Virtual

He's about as versital as the best. MASSIVE card pool to swim in.

2.)  Is there a Superstar Specific Card that you'd like to spotlight?

This number here works beautifully with the "John P" build. X3 Ego Boost is a must to deal with the Dttah you're going to eat.

3.)  How have you built said superstar?  How did it work out?

I've build Trips & The Game MANY MANY times. It was my first Raw Deal deck. I'd like to think I've mastered him. Played this guy for many years. May have to dust him off for August.

4.)  How well does the Superstar fare in whichever format you built them in be it VC/VAA/NXT/VR/Non-Virtual 

He does very well in both formats. NXT is 50/50 in my experience.

5.)  Final Thoughts on this Superstar?

Absolutely love him. He's been one of my favorites for many years.

Virtual has been kind to HHH. Gave him some new toys to play with. It may be time to put those toys to use again.

How do you feel about multis with HHH? Simply the Best etc? Any must have cards for him?

He's one of those decks that has so many good specifics (but in all irony no action reversals), that you gotta pack moves that are going to count and go through with him and you're almost always cutting 5-10 of his specifics, I can't see him being a brute force throw moves deck like say, APA is

That just makes leaping knee to the face an easy cut.... The 5/5 multi is pretty bad too.....

Remember King's Throne blanks the Knee though, so it's possibly a good inclusion.  But that Lunging Choke - yeah, your local meta better be set-up heavy (or you're running No Escape and run out of other moves to put there).

Don't forget Facebuster too. Ring General TB makes it a 0F 10D grapple, which isn't a bad thing!
