Dean was one of my favorite designs, though he got a lot of great tweaks and improvements I can't take credit for.

And yes, the 'Extreme Combat Skill' was me making a CZW callout.

...Yet with all that said, I haven't built him since playtesting!

1.)  How viable is this superstar?

He's solid....not great....but not awful.....Heat is the weakest of the builds now, but if you can drop a couple of good heat actions into play it's in essence a modified Kitchen Sink every turn with the power to stream three foreign objects a turn....and even with One Night Stand removing one heat card to recover one that's still a livable trade off....maybe I need to turn dean-o face and try that again...hrrrmmmmmmm

2.)  Is there a Superstar Specific Card that you'd like to spotlight?

LOVE this card "Flanked without being Flanked" basically....sooo good and so key to protect your hand and needed pre-match cards! The Blindside perk is eh unless you fully build around it.....

3.)  How have you built said superstar?  How did it work out?

Heel/Heat and FO's .....I ran out of deck before I could get the damn thing moving most of the time....grrrrr

4.)  How well does the Superstar fare in whichever format you built them in be it VC/VAA/NXT/VR/Non-Virtual

Only ran him in VC, doesn't seem viable in AA or nXt, needs a certain amount of pre-match cards to run right....

5.)  Final Thoughts on this Superstar?

He is what he was in the WWE at the time....a bit above average and WAYYY out there in how you can build him...

Isn't too bad... but not very strong either. The fact that it's a heat deck kind of hurts a bit as its one of the weakest archetype now (hoping V8 might change that *hint hint*)

Not an exceptionally strong card, but a nice option to work with in the deck, allowing you to dump heat cards into ringside and allow some weak but still useful hand control options. No downside too, which is icing on the cake.

3.)  How have you built said superstar?  How did it work out?
Not personally, but it's not bad, as I've faced 2 players that used Dean in our playgroup. Feels tough to play well but rewarding if you pull it off.

4.)  How well does the Superstar fare in whichever format you built them in be it VC/VAA/NXT/VR/Non-Virtual
He's not bad, not great but not horrible. Probably one of the better heat deck choices in VC however.

5.)  Final Thoughts on this Superstar?
Weakest among the Shield superstars in V7 definitely, as Roman and Seth feel more solid in their builds compared to Dean-o. However, I do think he's simply limited by the heat archetype and the deck lives and dies with how strong heat is in the meta. But a decent choice for a deck nonetheless.
